'So that's the building, huh?' Cathleen thought with a smile as the invisibility
She looked at the watch on her wrist which beeped, signalling that the mission had started and smiled, cracking her knuckles. These bastards wouldn't know what had hit them.

"AH! NO! PLEASE!" The man in white robes pleaded, screaming in pain as a red boot dug into his skin.
Homelander grinned, his eyes beaming red with heat, "Faced with your first temptation and you plead to me? What happened to all that belief in your God. Well, I suppose he isn't real anyway, the only God here…is me." Homelander added a miniscule amount of pressure, causing his foot to slowly dig into the man's back. His screams were like music to his ears.
It was only a moment later he realised he was on a mission which was important. He sighed, looking like he would have to wait another day. Finishing off the person at his mercy, he wiped his bloody boot against the white rolls and barged into the next room, eyes glowing red.

When Dan first heard of the Holysee church, he thought it was a joke. With very extremist, easily unbelievable beliefs Dan thought they would fade into the background, never to be heard again, how wrong he was.
Originally, his opinion of them had been completely professional, as an enemy that needed to be eliminated, but when he started hearing what would have happened to his quirkless and mutant friends, that's when it became personal.
It was awful, and they deserved to be eliminated. So when Dan heard the plan to severely weaken their influence, he was ecstatic. He never took pride in killing people, but these were orders from the government, and these people were so brainwashed that it would be impossible to bring them back.
They didn't live in a fairy-tale world where everyone could live, people needed to kill for the world to maintain a strong and stable structure, which is why they were killing those who threatened that structure.
Standing close by to the base, but out of view, Dan grew impatient as he waited for the signal on his watch. His mind wandered, going through possible scenarios and playing them out in his head.
Hostage? He had it covered.
A brainwashing power? His suit already had something to combat that.
Someone stronger than him? He doubted it would happen, but if there was someone stronger than him, then he already had Cathleen's number on speed dial, and could easily call for reinforcements. All he had to do was survive in the meantime.
Ding!
Dan heard the sound beep on his watch and he grinned. Leaping in the air, his cape fluttered against the wind as he crashed into the building.

Akira and Eagleman, especially Akira, was very far from home. Located in Montana, Akira and Eagleman were both preparing for the mission, sitting in a nearby forest and discussing tactics.
"So, how do you want to go in?" Eagleman asked, "I could fly there with you, or you could go by yourself, that seems to be the only viable option without getting spotted beforehand."
"Well, what if I said that ⭐I can make people who I touch invisible?⭐" Akira asked, feeling the energy warp around him. One problem with his quirk when around people that didn't know was trying to cover it up as much as he could. To even use his quirk he had to speak, so he had to carefully hide his
"You can do that with your powers?" Akira nodded at the question, putting a hand on his own shoulder. A moment later he disappeared to the naked eye.
Eagleman's eyes widened, "Wow." was all he could say. Akira placed a hand on his armoured shoulder, and a moment later he became invisible too. It was a shame, as Akira realised around 10 minutes ago when he saw Eagleman, that his costume was fucking awesome.
It was something straight out of a fantasy series or a game. Gold plated armour donned his entire hybrid body. A golden breastplate was equipped to his front, shining and glistening from the assortment of jewels and rubies attached to them. Important areas like his knees and arms also had this same golden armour, even his claws and feet were shaped with perfection, a thin layer of gold over them.
Even though all of it was shrouded in the cloak of invisibility, Akira could still remember it all perfectly.
"Ok then, let's make our way out of this forest, get a closer look at this building before we go in." Eagleman leaped off a tree, gliding through the forest. Akira followed.
"So Akira, how did you discover your quirk? I'm sure it must have been quite an experience. Did your parents scream in joy, or was it in school where all your classmates cheered?" Eagleman 'subtly' asked. It was obvious he was trying to get more information on Akira's quirk.
Akira shook his head, "On the contrary actually. Originally I was believed to be quirkless. I stayed at an orphanage until I was 8, under that label of quirkless-ness. As expected, my life was hard up until that point, and it was about to get even harder when I got kicked out of the orphanage for fighting back. I was lucky to awaken my quirk when I did, otherwise I would be dead on the streets."
Eagleman was silent for a few moments, "Wow, that's quite a story. It does explain why you are so mature though, you had a hard life, so you were forced to grow up early. It was very much the same for me."
"Oh please, I don't think I could do what you did. Learning to be a human normally is hard, nevermind an eagle."
"Well not just that…" Eagleman cleared his throat, "I grew up in the slums of India." He said suddenly, shocking Akira. "Are you up to date on your history lessons Akira? Are you aware of what happens there?"
Akira nodded, "You have the aboveground, then you have the underground. The above grounders call it 'The place where monsters hide'. Those 'monsters' are the mutants, right?"
"That's correct. Due to a series of events and laws, India had a very strict policy against Mutants. Those with small mutation features like spiky hair or stretchy fingers don't experience much difficulty, but those with mutation quirks which fully change their appearance, ones like mine are heavily discriminated against. 50 years ago, they passed a law. All those who fell under certain criteria had their basic human rights revoked. Others could do whatever they wished with them, they got paid below the minimum wage, it was awful…so awful that it led to the creation of the underground."
The underground. Akira was all too familiar with it. Some of the history and stories he had heard from India were permanently ingrained into his head. If the underground was never created, then he would have continued to hear these stories.
India was hit very hard by the creation of quirks. Villains were allowed to thrive for years, using their quirks to their own advantage to commit crimes and evil deeds. Mistakenly, the government spent a huge amount of money on trying to set up hero schools, licences, exams and agencies to combat these villains that they worked themselves into debt.
Taxes were raised, and in an overpopulated country with not enough jobs to go around, this caused chaos. There were riots and protests on the streets, families unable to survive and put food in their children's mouths, homeless people lined up on the streets like dead bodies.
The Indian government needed a solution, and one of their solutions was to use a scapegoat. What happened next was easily imaginable, and it led to the creation of the underground where the Mutants could live safely.
"A place where mutants could interact and socialise without the fear of the above grounders, that is where I was born. It's amazing what people could do when we work together, so when the underground was first formed…they managed to create something beautiful, but as the years passed we forgot why the underground was formed in the first place, and conflicts arose. That is where I was born, the underground, a place which was dark, damp, an ongoing warzone for useless territory, and a place I needed to learn how to fly."
"As I grew up, I learned about a country called America, a place that treated mutants the same as the rest of their population, the land of the free they called it. And so began my dream of going to America. I spent my time learning English, learning how to fight, learning everything I possibly could in hopes of escaping the underground, and that is what I eventually did."
"I've been in the top 10 for a couple of years now, and for as long as I can remember I have been protesting against the situation in India and fighting for my fellow kinds rights. I seemed to be making some progress, and I was happy, but with the introduction of the Holysee church, it seems all my work was for nothing. Now I'm attacked on social media, shouted at in the streets, it's the same as it was in India." Eagleman''s voice was quivering.
Akira had a sad look on his face, but tried his best to reassure him. "Don't worry, after today, the situation should get better, and before long the Holysee church will be gone, and so will that discrimination."
"I suppose…" Eagleman sighed, "But it will never be the same…"
"Hey, maybe if you feel like it, you could move to Japan. I'm sure they would welcome a top 10 hero with open arms, especially given the relationship between America and Japan. The quirk discrimination is the lowest it is, well for mutants at least. It's much better than America right now."
Eagleman smiled, "Who knows, I just might take you up on that offer."
