Water Lily: Chapter 14

Chanyeol gave up his hopes to ever getting his response to the confession letter resulted to isolating himself from people and keeping his feelings especially his sexual identity to himself. He felt so betrayed because that was the first time he ever gave in to his feelings and being rejected was not in his books. The thought of forgetting everything that happened was wiped away when he suddenly decided to get back his previous phone. His Dad took the phone he used back in South Korea and gave him a newer one, he was told by his parents that everything had to be new that's why he desperately wanted Baekhyun to contact him before he got the new one. The idea of getting his previous phone became his number one ideal task. He for one didn't know why he wanted it but he was sure he needed his phone.

Baekhyun got the contact number but his calls never went through. What was going on? Was this a fake number? wrong number? He wasn't sure which was which but what he was sure of , was his aching heart. He had planned out how to speak with Chanyeol and finding out how none of his calls went through, he felt sad. Was he that late to receive the letter? The only logical conclusion he drew was that, maybe Chanyeol got a new phone. But how was he going to tell him how he felt if he got a new phone? He felt disappointed and heartbroken, he felt like his heart was being toyed with...

Chanyeol asked for his previous phone out of the blue during dinner which was kinda weird on his parent's side. They urged him to finish his food first before bringing stuff up. He obliged but deep down , he hoped that his phone would be returned to him , safe and sound.

Baekhyun on the other hand, was thinking of giving up but somehow he was still hanging in there. He convinced himself to stay alive and keep trying that number till Chanyeol picks up... His determination was not one to joke with...

He was truly going to wait till someone picked up his calls! Call him insane but that's just love working it's way...
