It took Oswin a while, but he eventually got us to a woodland near where the evil sorcerer was said to be hiding. 


Even though it was quite a distance away, we couldn't help but notice what seemed like the crater of a volcano, complete with a mystical glow emanating from every crevice, given that it is at this place that a kaleidoscope of hues is cast. Little sparks of lightning sprang out of the black clouds as they climbed to kiss the summit of that mountain. 


"That may be the black lair," Isabel speculated. I could sense the worry and apprehension swelling in his chest from her tone. 


"We've been here before, but I've never seen anything like that," Chase said quietly. 


"So, what's the plan?" Fina inquired. It was next to the brother, who seemed to be at a loss for words due to what he observed.
