Lahnthean Aria

Polienne stared anxiously at the pouch on her lap as the carriage she rode with Saia and Rueinna. She didn't want to leave Kiran behind in the Merchants' District, but even Diel gave her orders to follow Saia's commands. 


"Lady Saia wants me to leave her grace in the Merchants' District. She explains that it's for a surprise she prepared for her," Polienne told Diel early in the morning while he dropped off the funds Kiran could spend during the trip. "I respect her highness, but I don't feel comfortable about leaving her grace behind. This will be the first time she ventures out into the District." 


"I see," Diel said, calmly looking away in thought. "If that's what her highness wants to do, then you have to comply." 


"But your grace, is this really alright? I don't mean to insult her majesty. I just-" 


"She's planning to send his highness, Prince Noorah, to Kiran's aid."
