Chapter 4

"You said you weren't done yet, right? Here's another punch for you," I said and threw my next fist.

He fell under my feet and then got up.

"Stop it, Arga! It's not good for the other employees to see you." Luna panicked. "Security guard, please get that man out of here."

"Alright, Miss!"

"Hey, what the hell!" Fisal doesn't understand why Luna can order security so easily. He continued to struggle and tried to escape the security guard's grip. "Please let go!"

"Sorry, sir. We have to take you out. It's forbidden to make noise here," said the security guard.

"You don't know who I am, do you? I'm Fisal, manager of the Marketing Division. Got it?"

Luna and I looked at each other then shook our heads. I don't know how many times I've heard that word.

"Sorry, sir. I don't know you. I'm just doing my job here," said the security guard.

We smiled amused.

"I said, let go of my hand! I can go alone." Fisal kept yelling at the security guard.

Luna and I left them. I didn't know what happened next.

My fingers looked bruised. I hadn't used it for punching in a long time. I stretched my finger muscles.

Suddenly, Luna looked at my hand, "Your fingers are bruised, Arga. Wait a minute, don't go anywhere!"

I saw Luna gasp at what she saw. I just obeyed. Immediately, she turned to the car, probably grabbing something.

Not long after, she arrived with a bag. All I knew is that the bag contains drugs. Indeed, she always kept the box in the car wherever we went even though it was never used.

"Sit here, let me treat!" She exclaimed.

Slowly, with certainty, Luna took the tools and materials she needed. She was very good at it. Luna was still serious about cleaning wounds and treating them. I can't believe it, I've been staring at him for a long time, smiling. This is what I love about her–caring and caring.

All my needs did not go unnoticed. My socks would be replaced when they run out. My fingernails were already long and did not escape also from her shrewdness in cutting.

She often reminded me to get a haircut at the salon every month. For him, a leader must look fresh and charismatic so that subordinates appreciate him.

"Ga ... Arga ... Hello! Are you looking at me?" She asked, smiling until the corners of her lips pulled symmetrically.

I stared at him for so long that I didn't realize she was rebuking me.

"Yeah," I smiled back. "Love you," I said again, lifting her chin and bringing it closer to me.

"Love you too!" She said. I saw her face reddened like a ripe tomato.

"Ish, it's not nice to stare like that in public," she said while pinching my stomach. "Is this belly or wood, anyway. How hard!" We laughed together.

Since a month of our marriage, all plans for a honeymoon with Luna have been delayed. Not on purpose, but because my work was very busy. The wedding was held with wisdom and very modestly in the Great Mosque which was only attended by the closest family and relatives.

Hurriedly, we got up and walked into the office. I wrapped my left hand around her waist. I knew Luna wasn't comfortable with me treating her in public.

She kept trying to get out of my grip, but to no avail. Not that I'm lame, but because I'm proud to have her. I just smiled. She was sullen.

"Arga, we won't reach your room at this rate. Let it go!"

"Okay, my Cinderella."

The light of the sun greeted us so that we could start our activities this morning. I immediately got up and got ready to go. Today I would go to the branch office according to my previous plan. I have temporarily delegated all the work regarding the office to Iwan, my secretary, and assisted by Luna - I have already told you beforehand.

After a three-hour journey, I finally arrived. Before heading to Mr. Haikal's office, the branch leader, I headed straight for the corridor to answer my curiosity as to what their performance was like here.

The company that I lead was the fourth-largest textile company. My eyes kept looking around. The employees were so busy that they didn't even realize I'm coming or rather don't know me because I'd just replaced my father who has moved and settled in Holland with my mother and brother.

Suddenly, my eyes stopped on two figures of a male and female couple who were busy making conversation and joking while other employees were busy working. Their faces were familiar to me. I immediately approached them.

"Hello! You're not working?"

"Arga! Mmm... Currently accompanying Fisal. I can do my work later," said Eka casually. I glanced at Fisal who was still looking at me cynically and full of anger.

"Who told you to sit down? A subordinate can't join us," Fisal said to me. "Oh, yes. You must have been fired and transferred here because of you yesterday?

"Mmm ...."

"Good! At least you can be my errand boy." He continued and laughed with satisfaction.

"Laugh with satisfaction this time, but it won't be long," I muttered.

"Oh, yes. I almost forgot. Next month we will get married," said Eka enthusiastically. "Fisal just proposed to me," she continued with a happy smile.

"Congratulation! Then I'll go first." I'm not so excited to hear about their wedding.

"Wait! Your job is to wait for us to finish enjoying this meal before you can leave." Fisal stopped me.

"Sorry, I have the business." I ignored his words and walked away from them.

"Hey, you dare to go against your Boss?" Fisal was about to stand up but was intercepted by Eka.

After talking for a long time with Mr. Haikal about the company's performance. I said goodbye and was about to leave again tonight for the next branch. I have to visit all branches as well as stay in touch with branch leaders.

After a week of business trips to several branches-in order to check the progress of the subsidiaries, finally, the day that was awaited arrived, namely to go home. I couldn't wait to meet Luna, my wife. Caress and greeting that was what I crave.

A smile grew on her lips. She was waiting for me at the door to welcome me. I already told her an hour ago.

"Good morning! How are you?" I said

"Morning too. I'm good and you?" She replied as she helped me push my suitcase.

"Arga, have you come? Good! I need your help."

"What kind of help, ma'am?"

"Mom needs money to renovate the garden out front."

"What are you going to do with the park in front of you?"

"Oops, you haven't asked a lot of questions already. Do you want to help? I want to renovate the garden in preparation for Eka's proposal. Luna, please help persuade your husband. Very stingy!"

This was the nature of my mother-in-law. If there was a will, she would ask in a coercive tone until I answer, yes. It wasn't that I didn't want to give her, but the way she asked for help was too pushy.

Luna glanced at me and gestured to just say, yes to her mother's request.

"Fisal can't afford the renovations?"

"Hey, it's not that I can't pay for it, but because I haven't got my paycheck, yet." Fisal who had been leaning back on the sofa lazily, suddenly stood up.

Not paid yet? I know this is the only reason. Even though the salary from the company was transferred last week. He must have spent it buying gifts for his future in-laws.

I smiled and managed to offend the man.

"You want to help, don't you?" Bu Mega started to get angry because I didn't answer, yes.

Luna poked my waist.

"Luna will transfer it to ma'am, later," I said and then walked away from them.

Very sunny morning. Light shined on the earth. I woke up and saw Luna was still sleeping. maybe she was tired last night. I wanted to leave the room. Suddenly, my eyes widen.

I was surprised to see Fisal this morning out of the room.

He slept in this house last night? That's a room...!
