Chapter 7

I decided to break down the bedroom door. There was no other way. I repeated, thumping the door repeatedly with my shoulder, like a devil. Finally, the door was opened.

I moved in a hurry from where I was standing. My body was frozen after what I saw. My eyes rounded. My knees went limp like boneless. I didn't feel the dewdrops on my eyes was fallen like teary eyes.

Finally, this body collapsed on the floor in a kneeling state.

What happened to you, Honey?

Luna, I couldn't live without you!

I forced this leg up and then approached her, "Luna, it's me, Honey. Are you okay?"

Luna was still curled up on the bed–hugging her knees like she was scared. Why did this happen to Luna?

"Luna ... Hey .... Come on, Luna! Are you okay?" I suddenly hugged her.

"Arga!"

"Yeah, it's me, baby!"

My heart felt at peace when she was in my arms. A week of not hearing her greeting seemed a long time. I won't let Luna stay like this for too long.

After we visited a psychiatrist a few days ago, I noticed that Luna had a slight change. Gradually her smile was visible although not as often as before. Asked to speak also often respond. Most importantly, I avoided asking as much as possible about the incident that happened to her a few days ago.

I helped Luna take care of the shop today. I Can't bear to let her work alone. After all, her mental health had not recovered one hundred percent. He still needed my support.

"Well, that's how it is. If we are diligent in opening the shop, we will have more income," said Mrs. Mega with a broad smile. "How is today's income. It is good?" She asked while checking the cash drawer.

"Not bad, Mom," answered Luna. "It just so happens that Mama and Rita have arrived. Luna wants to take a rest for a while. Luna's head is spinning, Mom."

"How come, you want to rest? You can't, please. Who's taking care of the shop?" She asked furiously.

"Never mind, Mom."

"Okay, let me take care of it. Luna, you take a rest first!" I rushed to them because I heard Luna's request while I was sitting in the corner of the room.

"Arga, you're here too! You can't help her. Can you prepare food?" Mrs. Mega protested–who did not accept my readiness.

"It's peace of cake! I can ask Luna later."

"Are you ...? I said no, Arga. I don't want my customers to go to another shop just because it doesn't match their order," said Mrs. Mega with wide eyes. I can see the look on her face when I said that.

"But, it looks like Luna needs to rest, Mom. Her health hasn't gotten much better yet."

Mrs. Mega didn't care to hear my explanation. I only caught a cynical look from her expression. She walked away from us and left with Rita without a word.

"It's not my business. Come on, Rita. Let's go! Remember your duty, Luna!" said Mrs. Mega and pointed her finger at Luna.

"Besides, don't pamper yourself with pain," continued Rita. "That's right, isn't it, Mom?"

"Ho-oh."

My patience was at the limit, I couldn't let them go this way. I had to take a stand, take Luna with me from them even though they wouldn't let her go. I have to find the right way and time before deciding to go.

This is the umpteenth time that they have endured the hurt they did to my wife. Even though I wasn't the one who experienced their treatment, I still feel the pain. Well, we'll see who will regret it.

"Wait a minute, I forgot something," Mrs. Mega paused for a moment then turned back again-opened the nightstand, and took all its contents.

**

"Luna, how much money have you got today?" Eka–who suddenly came and checked the drawer. "There's something I want to buy. I need it." Then she went.

She came just to take today's sales and then just left. Yesterday, her mother. Today is Eka. Did their daily work like this keep coming, taking, and going?

Dusk began to sink. Luna and I will get ready to go home. This was the first time I feel like my bones were about to fall out. I was so tired. All-day I was going back and forth preparing all sorts of things. What about Luna who only worked alone.

On purpose, I didn't go home directly, avoiding that Luna would continue her work again, which was preparing food. Let them do it themselves.

Tonight, I invite Luna to enjoy the night air as well as relieve fatigue all day.

"We're not going home? It's already late, isn't it?" asked Luna who just realized that the car I was driving did not go through the road leading to the house.

"Yeah, I want to take a rest for a bit."

"You can rest at home, Arga."

"No, at home. I just want to be outside tonight."

After spending the night together. We went home. I can imagine the look on their faces when they found that there wasn't any food on the table.

Since they just expect everything from my wife, so they have to be aware how was the feeling of there being no food on the table. Luna had done enough for her Family this time. Now, she had a right to be happy with me.

We slowly entered the yard, not wanting to wake them up because of hearing the sound of an oncoming car. I only parked the car near the guava tree because the parking lot had been filled by Fisal's car.

It seems that everyone in this house was asleep. When we came in, we didn't hear anyone's voice. Then, we went to the room.

Luna was directly asleep maybe because she was tired all day. My eyes haven't closed yet, thinking about the best way to take Luna with me and get out of this house.

I got up to go downstairs. My eyes fell on the balcony which was still open. Looks like they forgot to close it. Luckily, I saw it.

"Relax! I've joined their family. In a little while, everything will be under my control."

I stopped in my tracks when I heard those words. I saw the figure of someone who was standing, with his back to the door. Obviously, the voice is Fisal's voice. He was chatting with someone behind the phone.

What did he mean in my control? Who did he mean?

"You must attend my wedding later. There is a surprise from me," continued Fisal.

What exactly was this guy planning?
