Darkened Daylight

A scene from the previous days started to unfold. Xona opened her eyes. She was staring at the sky where the morning rays fell upon her eyes. Her body was in a sleeping pose. However, she felt something amiss, 'Why don't I feel anything under me?!' 


Slowly, she turned her head around, only to realize she was falling towards the sand ground at an incredible pace. The sound of the surrounding air whooshed into her ears. Her hair kept wriggling all over her face due to the speed of her fall. 


""Guess, I have no choice but to use my power right from the start!"", she unleashed her aura which was a mix of pink and red flames out of her skin. Since she was charging downwards rapidly, the aura engulfing her turned into one bright asteroid of pink and red flames. She came to a downright diving pose. As the ground neared her sight, she noticed people in strange clothes standing on the ground, 'I don't feel any familiar presence. Must be the unaffiliated bunch!'
