Darkened Daylight

Saki and Xona, both of them getting ready to lash at each other's neck, brought their claws forward. 


On one hand, Saki placed her claws into the ground with her knees bent over. She posed herself like a cat that is about to jump on its prey. On the other hand, Xona stood straight while her claws flexed outward as if she were embracing the wind. 


"!!!", the two blinked together, which marked the start of another round. 


With a pew and a flash, they closed the distance between one another in a forward movement. Right when their faces neared one another, Saki brought forth her right claws towards Xona's jawline. 


By twisting herself rightward, Xona dodged the attack, henceforth executing a stab into her opponent's belly. However, a loud clang followed the latter. Saki got blown away. Xona wondered, 'That was meant to stab her. Yet, she flew with a metal sound!'
