Darkened Daylight

I walked towards one of the four tall doors at the end of the base and stepped out of the sky-piercing trial pillar. It was the middle of the night. The streets were full of circular duplexes, one and two-storeyed, with red, green and orange conical tops. The stone-made roads in between brimmed with black poles lit with lamps at every intersection. There were dwarves, gnomes and humans roaming in between. They all were in t-shirts, loose pants and non-leather shoes. 


Above the city was a view of the night sky upholding a blue moon with a few stars around. By closing my eyes, I took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. My eyes reverted to the city in front, "Let's find a place to spend the night!" 


Saki pointed out, "Master, you must look at these people!" 


Everyone was looking at us. A child wearing a yellow t-shirt, green pants and brown shoes ran towards us. After nearing us, he attempted, "Mister, you're the winner of RPC, aren't you?!"
