The still shocked Erica tried to ignore the statement that what she was experiencing wasn't a dream. Her gaze now turned to the six visual windows.
The first visual window shows footage of knights in armour marching in front of the castle, waving flags against a medieval backdrop. The second clip window shows a person from a sacred tribe in the middle of the forest while armed men chase the tribe on horseback from a distance.
Erica frowned at the sight. She didn't see any dreamy displays or any display of romance at all. Her eyes now moved to the next visual window. The third is footage of a man wearing a Viking helmet arriving at the beach to loot the city, while the fourth is footage of women with expensive knick-knacks smoking and chatting.
Erica turned to the fifth visual window, confused by the scene. In the large banquet hall was a thin, red-haired woman in a silver dress and a handsome man with silver hair in a blue robe. Erica turned towards the last window, thinking about the costumes people wear in the ballroom.
The scene before her was like a scene in a fairy tale. A beautiful woman is sitting on a luxurious bed while hugging a baby. The window shows many emotional bonds. A feeling of being squeezed between an attitude of grandeur, dynamism, restlessness, and luxury, made her look so warm. Erica was touched by sight and indirectly stepped closer to the window without hesitation.
"Oh, you like that kind of life, it seems. An unusual choice. Glad to see you chose a different world. I'm also glad that you have a clear view. But, there's one thing missing, I can't send a new soul into your chosen world. Because to change dimensions with a golden soul is limited to every fifty years. We still have five years left before the birth of the next one. I don't know what to do with this," he said.
"Wait, why are you telling me this information? What's with this world? What dimensions are different? And what do I have to do with the new soul? All of your explanations are confusing, and it feels weird." Erica poured her words out without hiding her embarrassment, but the cat ignored her and continued to speak casually.
"I am Made, a gatekeeper angel who keeps his word. I must find an empty body that lost its soul due to a sudden internal incident."
"You? Gatekeeper angel? That sounds pretty weird. Just hearing a cat talk doesn't make sense. It would be a big problem for a cat to manage all those things," Erica muttered desperately, thinking she was still in a dream.
"I promise to get you out of your current life. Trust me. Made is a friend and guardian angel for Erica. Are you ready?" he scolded.
"Wait, ready? What do you mean I have to be ready? What's wrong with you? I feel so nervous right now!" Erica replied.
"Made is very pleased to meet you. Let's get started. One two three!"
"Come on, wait! Stop! Bloody wait!"
Erica hastily stopped the cat that was excitedly jumping around, creating energy from the light in every window.
"Erica, is there something you want to say? Getting you to move to another life gate is quite complicated, and I must focus. If something goes wrong, you might fall into an unknown gate!" Made muttered in discontent and urged the woman to say something immediately.
Erica decided to enjoy this pleasant dream properly and began to quibble according to her usual personality. "I can feel myself coming out of my current body. You said that I would be reborn, and I would go to another body that I didn't know who it was. However, I wouldn't say I like it either. Taking back control in a new journey seems a little daunting. I want to go into the fifth window instead."
"If you've chosen once, you can't change it again. Do you want to give up the opportunity or accept your chosen life?"
"You are very stingy. Taking a step back in a game of chess alone is allowed. I haven't been given enough time to make choices about myself. If my life ends badly, then this is the end of my life."
"What do you mean? Will your herstory end? That's too cruel to say. I can't even think about it."
"You make me angry. Can't you undo this weird thing?"
"No, I can't."
"In that case, you should explain it well from the start. I would have chosen carefully if you had warned me that there was someone's life that I would take from the six lives you showed me. Therefore you are just as guilty of negligent in carrying out your duties."
"Now you are silent. Don't have anything to say? At least you can compromise with me."
"What kind of phrase are you talking about? I don't want to make negotiations like that."
"I will accept this life that I have chosen. So at least give me the ability to do something extraordinary. Shouldn't I have a special ability like moving to another dimension, maybe? I don't want to get caught in any predicament, so give me the ability to do something useful."
