"What's going on here?" Isabelle yelled, she was perplexed, looking at Jason who was holding a woman in his arms, he held her hand, while his other hand was around her waist.
The people behind her were appalled as well, Austin wanted to laugh at his ex-girlfriend's look of horror, she was acting like she saw a ghost, Jason took a step away from Claire, he didn't want people to misinterpret the situation, but it was already late.
By now everyone might be thinking that there was something going on behind the close door, "Oh, what were you doing my friend, even if she is your girlfriend, you should not do such things in work hours!" Austin teased him intentionally, glancing at Isabelle, everyone gasped at the news.
"Girlfriend?" Isabelle glared at Austin for using that word, she couldn't tolerate anyone beside her to be with Jason.
"What the hell! Who are you!" Isabelle marched towards Claire in anger, but Jason pulled Claire close to him, being aware of Isabelle's temper.
"Didn't you hear what Austin said, she is my girlfriend." Jason replied, his eyes daring Isabelle to do something that might harm her. Everyone was watching the drama, some of them had no idea what was this all about.
Jason glanced at the people, he never wanted to drag his personal life in his professional life, but because of Isabelle's temper, all that was ruined, he glared at Isabelle, "What made you so desperate, that you wanted to meet me?" He asked still holding Claire close to him.
"I... came back, but not even once you contacted me." Claire peeked at him and then at her, it looked like they already knew each other.
"Claire, I think you should go home, take my car." Jason released her, Claire was utterly confused, the woman in front of her was definitely swearing at her with her eyes.
"All of you leave." Austin told the employees who were still watching.
Claire wanted to know who she was, but if Jason told her to leave means he didn't want to tell her the woman's identity.
Claire glanced at them one last time and walked out, she didn't know why, but she was feeling upset and angry.
*****
"Why did you wanted to meet me?" Scarlett was baffled by his question l, "Don't you know Jason, are you really going to pretend like this." She claimed hurt evident in her eyes.
They were currently sitting in his penthouse, after Claire left, he didn't want any more drama in his company, so he took her at his place.
"Don't start your rant about love." Austin snapped at her, "Shut up! Why are you even here!" She glared at him, "Because I want to be here, what will you do, huh!" He dared her, his eyes full of hatred.
"Whatever, I don't want to waste my time on a heartbroken idiot." She whispered to herself, but it was heard by both of them.
Austin clenched his fist, he hated how she always made fun of his feelings, even when they were together.
"Watch your mouth Isabelle, I think you don't want to get kicked out from here." Jason warned her.
Rolling her eyes at them, she asked, "Are you really dating her?"
"What if I'm!" They were sitting in the living room, Jason and Austin were sitting opposite her, as if they are going to interrogate her.
They were aware of her bad temper, she was someone who could do anything in anger, for that Jason didn't want Claire to get hurt, so he had to send her back.
She hated how both of them were looking at her with a look of dislike, getting angry at their cold behavior, she picked up the vase from the table in front of her and threw it at them.
Jason and Austin saw that coming, they were quick to dodge it, the vase fell on the floor, "What the hell woman, have you lost it!" Austin shouted.
Ignoring him, she glanced at Jason with tears in her eyes, "Be honest with me Jason, you never..not even once loved me?"
"I never loved you Isabelle, not even once I felt that kind of feelings for you." Jason replied.
Isabelle was lost, she couldn't believe she lost the chance to be with him, 'It was because of him, otherwise Jason would never reject me!' She thought.
"It's because I dated him right, if I wasn't with him, you would have been mine, right?" She asked, the desperation scared Jason, he knew what she felt for him was not love, it was obsession.
"Isabelle, it was never because of him, even if you didn't date him, I would have have still said a no." Jason replied, feeling sorry for her.
But she wasn't ready to accept the fact, the way she didn't accept it year's back.
Austin hated to see her face, but he couldn't leave his friend alone with a psycho obsessed girl.
"Now that you talked to him, why don't you get lost!" Isabelle glared at him, "This is all because of you!" She shouted, as she marched towards him, eyeing the vase on the floor she picked it up and threw it at him, and this time he wasn't lucky enough to dodge it.
"Austin are you okay?" Jason asked, but he noticed Austin's forehand bleeding, "You deserve it, you were nothing but a nuisance in our relationship, and till today you're the same."
"Get out!" Jason yelled, Isabelle flinched, she knew there was no room for argument and walked out from his house.
Austin hissed in pain, but he didn't know which one hurt more, the physical pain or the emotional, her words kept ringing in his mind.
He kept his hand on his forehead, as he felt the wetness on his fingers. Today he realized how much she hated him, and he used to call her, his first love.
"Austin! Where are you lost?" Jason asked, he was asking Austin if he was okay, but he was lost in his thoughts. "Let's go to the doctor." Jason said, as he got up from the couch, but Austin held his hand stopping him,
"It's okay, it will be fine, I'll leave now." Saying that he marched towards the door, Jason kept calling him, but he didn't stop, not wanting to be a nuisance to his friend, he walked away.
