Meet With Old Friend

When the taxi that had taken her stopped directly in front of the school gate, Naomi hurried to draw up the hem of the plain dress she was wearing.

Naomi regretted changing her mind when Stepheny called her. Persuade her to come to the event that is taking place today.

Early in the morning, Alfian had headed to his workplace. Naomi continued to ponder her choice as she repeatedly glanced at the screen of her phone. She ultimately made the choice to attend the reunion.

"I ought to have told Alfian about this," Naomi reflected.

Naomi inhaled deeply. She proceeded through the crowd in a relaxed manner. She just tried to smile and move out of the way as quickly as she could. She did not recognize the folks who had earlier passed her at the front gate.

Naomi nearly never thought about the lively mood of the party being held right on the school grounds. It's her classmates' first time hosting a reunion celebration.

Naomi came to a stop in front of delicious a organized food and beverage establishment table. Glasses for drinks, nibbles, and cookies were all neatly arranged.

She caught a whiff of sweetness. As she peered at the food in front of her, Naomi cast a sidelong glance at her while furrowing her brow.

"I suddenly feel sick to my stomach. Really uncomfortable," she thought.

She eased the sickness by moving back a few meters and putting her chest against the wall. Naomi inhaled deeply, held her breath for a time, and then gently exhaled.

She shifted her attention all around. Until the figure of Stepheny, who was speaking to some old pals, drew her black pupil's attention.

A squinted Naomi. She failed to identify her classmates. She wasn't haughty, mind you. But basically Naomi is essentially a shy, forgettable person.

"Is that Naomi?"

Her steps, which nearly caught up to Stepheny, were halted by a quiet voice.

Someone patted Naomi on the shoulder, causing her to turn around. The woman's brows furrowed in perplexity.

Naomi turned her attention to the man in front of her.

He is handsome, his hard jaw, pointed nose, and intense focus for she. But he doesn't pay attention to anything around him.

He was unaware that every woman he passed always had a look of utter awe on her face. At the very least give them a fleeting glance before moving on while smiling slightly.

"Who?" Naomi asked, unsure.

He gave a quiet giggle. His smile is so charming.

Naomi had a similar thought about the man, but where? Her recollections occasionally overlapped.

"You don't recognize me? I'm Aiden. Our class is together."

Naomi briefly fell silent. She took a deep breath. 'Ahh... pediatrician Aiden Brounson,' Naomi mused.

Naomi is doesn't know of him. However, her husband had tell about Dr. Aiden a few weeks ago. They are completely unfamiliar, as she had previously told her husband. She only knew about Aiden since her close friend Ethen always tell about him up.

The group of pals also differs from Aiden's, who is intelligent and wealthy. When he was still high school, Aiden is the Prince charming man truly yet stylish. He hardly ever spoke to strangers. He just chatted with his friends.

"I'm sorry, Aiden," Naomi said, "Ehm... I didn't recognize you earlier."

"No problem," he exclaimed. "Err ... I can't believe you don't recognize me. I used to be well-liked, didn't I?"

Ahh... Naomi is not to blame. She didn't think that Aiden's figure was narcissistic either.

"I apologize for it."

Aiden doesn't matter.

"How are you, by the way?"

Naomi thoroughly analyzed Aiden. The man didn't significantly alter. Only his body, which has a clean jaw cut, appears dashing.

Simply said, Naomi doesn't actually know Aiden all that well. She saw that the man's demeanor had changed a little, becoming almost too amiable for outsiders like herself.

"Hm... well, I guess," she exclaimed. "You look a little different, " She continued.

He looked up, smiling a little. "Really? Even though I haven't changed much, you know. "

'Well maybe....'

Naomi had the impression that things were becoming increasingly awkward. To avoid staring at Aiden for too long, the woman cast numerous sideways glances before moving on. He was uneasy about it. in particular when nearly everyone was looking at them. Aiden and she spoke openly.

"You came alone?" he asked.

She squinted her pale, surprised face as she quickly adjusted. Slowly nodding, Naomi instantly lowered her gaze to the ground and fixed it on the grass. This discussion is quite awkward.

It was the same for Aiden. The attractive man struggled to breathe normally and utter a sound.

Slowly, Aiden touched the drink's corner. The man wondered why he had the audacity to approach Naomi initially.

In his mind, Aiden silently cursed. He doesn't necessarily know Naomi well, though.

He just knows a woman who is a Alfian's fans. He is, nevertheless, the kind of person who prefers to quiet, and who hides behind the scenes. Naomi keeps to herself. He frequently keeps tabs on Alfian covertly, and which Aiden notices.

When he used to meet with Naomi at the library, Aiden used to think it was sweet. Although she is not as intelligent as she is, Naomi is another student who excels.

"Where are you now," he asked.

"I stay with my husband."

He arched an eyebrow in perplexity. "Husband? Are you married?" Aiden asked, a little surprised,

Naomi continued to nod.

When Aiden heard Naomi's statements, he became a little enraged. She revealed herself to be somebody else's. Before he even had a chance to fight, he laughed at his early setback.

'Was he the blonde man Naomi's husband, as her friend had claimed?'

"What's your husband's name?"

Aiden held back his feelings and returned his attention to the group of people.

"You don't know who he is." Naomi gave a sardonic smile.

For Naomi, concealing her husband's position is nothing new.

She saw Aiden nod.

'Saga is absolutely not it. Since his acquaintance was hardly ever in this country, he felt immediately relieved. After all, if it was Naomi Saga's husband, she would know.'

"Perhaps I can meet your husband the next time."

"Yes, if he isn't busy."

Naomi hastened to a nearby beverage at random. She shouldn't stay too long with Aiden. She had discomfort.

Naomi cast a sidelong glance. She discovered Stepheny suspect her. When she discovered Naomi with Aiden, her pal must have been thinking something else.

Naomi murmured under her breath as she uncomfortably rubbed her arm. turned to face Aiden once more.

She looked over at Aiden and said, "I'm done, Aiden. My friend seems to be waiting."

She was referring to Stepheny and the other girls who were standing nearby.

A small smile appeared inside Naomi. She prayed that her attitude wouldn't insult the man.

Aiden slowly nodded as he turned his head. He said, "Oh, okay." He said "By... Naomi, great to meet you."

Aiden fixed his gaze on Naomi's back, which was moving away from him. The emotion vanished in an instant. Naomi as she was in the present was just like a rose in glass. Beautiful but out of reach.
