Family Ties Pt.2
Unknown - they call me the regulator, how about you?
Dontae - this is the new recruit my apprentice you could say and the name is lotus
Regulator - cool name
(jacob shook his hand and then looked at dontae for answers but dontae just looked and nodded)
Regulator - did you inform him of what exactly it is we're up against?
Jacob - i assume we're just fighting random, lame ass criminals in the city and i'm guessing you guys want to make the city a better place or what not
Dontae - well you're not wrong we want to protect the city and put away those criminals but this time we got a bigger fish to catch
(jacob started to get butterflies in his stomach trying to figure out what kind of enemies these guys could make and who were that much of a threat to United City and he started to tremble when he thought of that person and he had to grab the edge of the table)
Dontae - hey you alright kid?
Regulator - i guess he can't even handle the information
(jacob looked up and shocked the guys even more because he was smiling)
Jacob - please tell me we are going after the Old Generation
(dontae shook his head and was sort of confused)
Jacob - they took everything from me and I would love to join you to take everything from them
(the guys started to realize they made the right choice)
Regulator - well i was wrong the kid's got heart, good pick boss
(he tapped dontae's shoulder and walked off)
*PERSPECTIVE SWITCH*
(atlas was leading aj to the woods)
Aj - where the hell are you taking me?
Atlas - why do you ask so many questions?
Aj - well when people take me to the woods i get a little nervous
Atlas - the big bad wolf is scared of the woods?
(he turned around and looked at him with a smirk)
Aj - certain things I just don't do
Atlas - don't worry, we're almost there
(and they were there it was a creek and on their side of the creek there was a cave which was dark)
Atlas - here it is
Aj - this is it?
(atlas rolled his eyes)
Atlas - if you don't like it you can sleep outside
(aj walked toward the cave)
Aj - i love it
(he followed after him)
(atlas put some leaves and sticks to get a fire ready so he went and atlas lit up his finger and put it on top of the grass)
(they were sitting on some rocks while aj ate his jolly ranchers)
Atlas - so what's your story?
Aj - there isn't one
Atlas - no family, parents or siblings?
(aj looked at him)
Aj - my whole family is dead, house fire
Atlas - well i can promise you it wasn't me (he laughed to try and lighten the mood)
(aj just looked at him and atlas cleared his throat)
Aj - what about you?
Atlas - dad was an addict and mom is in prison plus i'm the only child
Aj - damn that sucks
Atlas - yeah but i don't like to dwell on it because they were good for a while and then something changed
Atlas - well what happened to your old team? I heard they all died
Aj – that's what happened i screwed up again and it cost everything again
Atlas - what do you mean again?
Aj - let's just say I made a promise to people that i wouldn't try but I broke it the minute i got a bit of freedom it's just like me to do my own thing
(they both sat there for a bit in complete silence)
Atlas - let's turn in, we start tomorrow night
Atlas - i have a solid lead we can follow
(the boys slept next to the fire so aj put the fire out and went to sleep but each was secretly up because they couldn't wholeheartedly trust someone they just met)
Narration - all the boys and their partners or groups got ready to go out and take down the Old Generation once and for all
(dontae, jacob and the regulator were all training on dummies leaving timothy, barrage, euphoria and adonis were all surrounding and discussing a plan they were going to go with later that night)
(everyone was all walking to the same place: an old warehouse on the edge of town that had about twelve stories and everyone came in a different way because adonis, atlas, shadow atlas and the regulator all said that was where their lead was but the brothers would soon come to find out it wasn't a lead at all)
