Chapter 41: Beyond Maximum

Brix's P.O.V. 

I got him. That war axe was a relic from a dwarven king some hundreds of years ago. It was said to be made from dwarven damascus steel. It was also enchanted, and that only people with body strengthening magic can wield it. It was said that the axe will detonate a powerful blast if a person that doesn't have body strengthening magic within them touches it. 

The explosion kicked up a lot of dust clouds, but I could see that the axe flew away from Selk's grasp. He probably dropped it due to the force of the blast. I quickly grabbed it, and charged right at where Selk was standing before. I don't care what type of armor he was wearing, there's no way it wouldn't have been mangled from that concentrated explosion.
