Chapter 13

Odetta

  'You had just spilled lots of information. Now I know that you are working with a seer to eliminate the tribrid. And I also know that you have a very powerful witch helping you, your mouth is too loose elder. You are suspecting I am the tribrid. Which I am not. But if I was you just told me your secret' I said smirking and his eyes got bigger if that was possible.

'Be careful elder anybody could be listening, the tribrid could be listening to our conversation. If she can't enter your mind at least now she knows what you are planning. So be careful on what you say elder' I said with an emotionless face. Thankfully the dance is over. I left him there then Orion came he held my hand then we went back to our royal throne. The feast went on. Gifts were presented. Dancers from different kingdom came to show their talents. All the while councilman Aaron was staring at me, I could feel his heated stare. I entered his mind again. I was blocked but this time I pushed harder. I could feel his stare but I acted like I was enjoying what the fae's were presenting with an innocent look on my face. But internally i was pushing his mind. I am the most powerful witch. No witch can just block me from people thoughts. I pushed harder then is mind broke. I smirked internally while externally I am smiling and clapping with the crowd. I read his thoughts, they were too much. He is trying to distract me from his real thought but I could pick on some thoughts. 

'The tribrid is definitely here'

'How did she break my into my mind?

'What will I tell Ryker he….. No no don't think about Ryker' he said shaking his head. Then he tried to think of other things. Who is Ryker? I entered his memory.

Memory

Councilman Aaron could be seen walking in a dark hallway. The hallway is very unfamiliar. He entered a room, a man in black clothing could be seen sitting in front of a desk with cigar in his mouth. His two legs where placed on the desk. His face can not be seen. He is covered in black clothing. The only part of his body you could see is his lips. 

'Good evening Lord Ryker' Councilman Aaron said bowing.

'Evening Aaron. You know why i called you here' the man Ryker said smoking his cigar.

'Yes my lord, we are here to discuss the tribrid' Aaron said.

'Yes the tribrid. How is the preparations of finding her going? He asked.

'My lord i have a spell book, there is a location spell inside the book. We need to have some things to start the spell, we have been searching for the dragon spit but dragons are extinct it will take us some time and we also need a personal belonging of the tribrid. It will be hard to acquire this things my lord' Aaron said.

'Aaron you know I don't have patience for this I need to find the tribrid and make her mine, all this things you are doing is a big waste of time. The seer has confirmed that the tribrid is in the demon kingdom. And she is a lady of class, that is the only thing the seer can say about the tribrid. We would have a witch to block your mind away from the tribrid. I heard the kingdom is planning a feast you have to be there and keep your eye on any female that is of higher authority' Ryker said placing his leg on the ground. He also drop the cigar.

'But my lord the demon kingdom and the council are n…' Ryker cut him off.

'Are you disobeying me Aaron?! Ryker yelled racing Aaron. His eyes were red they were very red, like blood red. Aaron started shaking.

'Remember you owe me I could wipe out your generations if I wanted to don't tempt me' he said much more calm. 

'Now get out of might site and go to the feast and try to figure out who the tribrid is' Ryker said. 

'Okay my lord' Aaron said bowing shakily. Then he turned and ran out of the room. 

Memory ended

   So their is someone who want me as his. Who could Ryker be. I can't see his face only his eyes and lips. For elder Aaron to bow and be scared of him that means he is very powerful. I guess the councils are not my only enemy, there is someone else in hiding. I have no clue who this person his or how to locate him. Again I question why my life is so full of drama, at this point I will start developing gray hair like those humans.

King Orion

   The party has been going nice but I am worried about Odetta something is wrong and I can't tell what it is. I look at her she seemed lost in thoughts. 

'Odetta' I called shaking her lightly. She looked up at me.

'Yes' she said smiling. I could tell it was fake.

'Are you okay? You seem lost in thoughts' I asked

'I am fine' she said clearing her throat.

'I feel a little tired though, can we leave, I feel tired' she said. I could see she looked stressed. We stayed for some time. Then I gave a little speech thanking everyone for coming. Then I personally thanked my allies and friends. Then Odetta and I head to our bedroom. We took our bath and we head to bed. All the while Odetta was really quiet.

'Odetta you will trust me and tell me if anything is wrong right? I asked while we are laying down on the bed.

'Yes' she replied. I was expecting her to finally tell me what was wrong but she pulled me closer to her and slept. I looked at her. She looks very stressed. I sigh worriedly.

'When will you tell me what is bothering you? I asked whispering to the sleeping odetta. No response, I pulled her closer and sleep.

'I am so sorry Orion' I heard a voice whisper but I could have also imagined the voice.
