The Nation Asset.

"Are you happy?"

"Yes!"

I thought about the brief conversation with Axelle last night after the fight with Jae-Hwo. At first, I was hesitant to pick up the call but after the second call, I picked up and he immediately asked me the question. Of course I'm honest with how I feel happy that Jae-Hwo hit him without me asking. After a short answer, I hung up even though I faintly heard Axelle about to say something. I was waiting for him to call again but he didn't call so that's it.

My feelings for Axelle after he betrayed me, felt like they had dried up by then. Like the hibiscus flowers, he gave me in the past. My heart is reluctant to find out, what is the reasons for Axelle's cheating because there is no justification for the reason for the affair. All this time I was reluctant to shoot either because I was afraid, afraid of my own guess. Maybe I'm too cowardly to know all the reasons Axelle cheated on me because if I knew, then I would have low self-esteem and lose confidence. So, leave it like this.

"What's bothering you?"

I almost threw the Sushi Arthur gave me in any direction when Jae-Hwo's voice startled me.

"You," I replied curtly and then ate the Sushi which was as long as my thumb and as wide as my three fingers when put together.

"Are you dreaming of me," he asked in a confident tone that made me want to spit out the Sushi but it was a shame if I threw up because it tasted so good.

I devoured the Sushi again and then chewed it while tasting how delicious this Japanese food was. Arthur was never wrong when giving alms food because the food that Arthur gave never seemed to stain my mouth and stomach, instead spoiling it. It was so fun that until the third bite I still ignored Jae-Hwo because I was afraid that Jae-Hwo would take this Sushi because Arthur only gave me three Sushi while the others, he gave to Mr. Rahmat, the school gardener. Yes, Arthur and Mr. Rahmat are close because Mr. Rahmat's father used to work for Arthur's grandfather's family.

"I suggest that you write your cell phone number on the school wall so the girls at school don't come after me just to ask for your cell phone number." While remembering, I said my magical idea just now and at the same time changed the subject.

"So because of that problem you're daydreaming," he asked and was right on target.

I nodded then scooped my lunch which was brought by my mother and this time it was Sis Lovelace's cooking. He deliberately cooked breakfast for content reels with Loretta. Uh, my two sisters are indeed very active on Instagram and have a lot of followers while I, don't. Now and then when I'm bored I'll play Instagram and just be a content connoisseur, not a creator like my two sisters. Speaking of content, why don't I just ask Jae-Hwo to join my two sisters as creators?

"Jae-Hwo, I have a great idea so girls don't ask for your cell phone number," I waved at Jae-Hwo for him to come closer to me and luckily he complied.

"Become a social media creator like sis Lovelace and Loretta. If you are actively creating content on Instagram, then the girls will focus on the content you create on Instagram and just say if they can send messages on Instagram and you will reply randomly," I said it very seriously to Jae-Hwo while looking at Jae-Hwo's face reassuringly.

Tak,

"Aww ...." I moaned as I felt someone poke my forehead and it wasn't Jae-Hwo the suspect but Arthur.

Jae-Hwo looked at Arthur disapprovingly because the guy flicked my forehead.

"She suggested it to me once and what happened, the girls were going crazy and kept spamming on Instagram." Arthur's story to Jae-Hwo and yes, Arthur is the second victim I gave tips just now after Axelle. And they just obeyed.

"Because of those tips you have a lot of fans and get endorsements, right?" Pretentiously disturbed even though he benefited from my tips.

Look, Arthur froze and I'm sure he was stringing words together but they didn't come out in the end. "Fine, it works for my income, and thank you, my good friends." I also said that he couldn't argue and thanked him.

"So, how's Jae-Hwo?" Now I look at Jae-Hwo who looks very flat like the principal's office wall.

"Your faces bring sustenance and national assets," I said to both of them then I pointed at Jae-Hwo who was sitting beside me.

"Don't waste my idea because the real evidence of my idea just now gives testimony." I packed the lunch box and the Tupperware bottle into the paper bag because the break was about to end.

I patted Jae-Hwo's shoulder then stood up and patted Arthur's shoulder. "See you at the archery building of the nation's assets!" I walked as if I was floating while carrying a paper bag and trash used for sushi containers.

"Has he been mad since he was little?" Arthur asked Jae-Hwo.

"I can hear it," I shouted then giggled.

.*.*.*.*

Stretching tired muscles after a workout is a relief, especially if it makes a crackling sound. Ah, it feels like the tiredness that hangs in the muscles disappears for a moment. The most troubling is the neck muscles because they feel very stiff after archery practice. I want to buy something that can relieve my neck.

Washing my face in the changing room sink became my habit after every practice. Not only that, but I also wash my armpits so they don't smell too bad. What I do always grabs the attention of the girls in the dressing room.

"Don't try to take me in this state because it's an act of pornography and electronic crime." I always tell them this because I just don't believe them. Remembering those who don't like me because of Mr. Handoko.

Just watch out if they record me and spread the video, or even take pictures then I will never stay silent while crying. I'll find the culprit and grab the culprit's hair and then sue him. I'm not kidding about this.

"Don't take pictures." I scolded when I saw they were cool to take pictures of something and I immediately thought bad.

"It's cool to be a person. We'll take our photos next time." a classmate who doesn't know manners.

At first, the archery team's juniors didn't like me because of the seniors and classmates. They are underclassmen who don't like me. I have repeatedly introspected myself about what I did wrong. Turns out, the fault lies with them because they are too jealous of me, which Pak Handoko has blessed with.

"Uh," My response then took my gym bag after wearing a T-shirt and then looked away from the dressing room.

"That sucks! They think this is all my will! Of course not!" I mumbled to myself after slamming the locker room door and a cursing sound came from inside the dressing room.

Arthur and Jae-Hwo came up to me and they both seemed to get along. It's nice to see them and I hope they can be good friends, as good as mine is with Arthur.

"Need a ride home?" Arthur offered to Jae-Hwo and me.

"Piggyback three," I asked.

"Why not," Arthur replied with a shrug.

"Crazy," I cursed and got a laughing response from Arthur and Jae-Hwo. Sometimes the three of us ride together, just imagining it makes me want to hit my head for being too funny.

To be continued.
