While he is a from this world there is no real background given yet. He seems like a slightly smart typical young man and his first class is sword saint ( Uber class but not the highest). With his cheat he can do draws using his lifespan 1 yr = 1draw like a mobile game. He can absorb life from Demons.

I'm up to over 150 chapters using MTL. It's a decent entertaining read. The basic background is that two worlds are slowly merging: human and source world. The source world has long had its power system corrupted so that all cultivators and animals inevitably mutated into grotesque "Dark Souls-like" monsters. So the human world created a new power system that tries to avoid the problem but is still risky. The MC is quite lucky throughout the plot because he constantly faces enemies beyond his level and comes out ahead. For example level 4 killing level 7 using a god artifact. Overall it reads like a typical MC-fighting-beyond-his-level webnovel with an interesting background.
Just hope MC is not brain dead. .....................................................................................................

Decent read .I liked it. One of the better trail reads. The premise is simple to understand and follow. It's a little fast paced in the beginning, but it gets better with more chapters
Can't believe this was put on break just after the trial read, this is the second novel I've seen this happen to that I've had my eye on, might as well just delete it

It's alright. Slow to start. After it does start, it isn't very interesting. So, not bad, but not something I'll bother reading further.
