"Juho." Juno came back from his trance when Desu called him. He gave her a glance and looked at Erin again, but he wasn't there anymore. "What are you looking at?" Desu asked. He stared at Erin's place earlier for a moment before looking at Desu.
"None," he uttered, and smiled. "I'm worried about what I heard about the Iijima wand. Is it really that powerful?" he asked.
Desu looked in front of where the professor was sitting, probably waiting for someone to surrender the wand. "That wand is the heart of this school. It was made by the powerful legendaries and leaders before this school was started," Desu replied.
The Ijima wand was passed from generation to generation. It was entrusted to a legendary student before the death of its last holder, but six years had passed before it suddenly disappeared, so Professor Kim was tasked with guarding it until the legendary would return. The legendary student was supposed to be the last successor of the wand, but one day after entrusting it to him, he disappeared.
"It's very important to find the wand before it loses its power. Whoever finds it, he will absorb everything and will become the most powerful legendary," Desu added. He nodded. The missing legendary. That was what Erin asked him. He looked at the place where Erin was seated earlier. Does he know something?
He stood up, which made everyone look at him, including the professor. "What are you doing, Juho?" Desu asked. He took a deep sigh and confidently met the worried but furious eyes of the professor.
"Yes, Juho?" the professor asked. He looked around before looking at his professor
"I would like to volunteer myself to find the wand," he said. The professor looked at him in amusement and curiosity.
"Juho, this isn't the perfect time for your silliness," Desu admonished him while pulling the sleeve of his shirt.
"What makes you decide that?" Professor Kim asked. He sighed.
"I just wanted to help. Please let me, prof. Of all people here, I am the only person who had no interest about power. You just pushed me to," he answered. The professor nodded. He motioned his hand to make Juho come near to him. Juho walked closer.
"Let us talk," the professor said as he led the way into the spherical's private room. As soon as they entered the room, the professor faced him. "Do you have a suspect?" he asked. He gulped.
"I saw Erin earlier. He was grinning. I was just wondering. Maybe he knows something about the wand," he answered.
"Juho, we can't just accuse someone based on his expression. We need concrete evidence," the professor replied.
"But he was looking at you," he insisted.
"He was like you, Juho. He will not do that," the professor defended.
"But—"
"Juho, I am allowing you to look for the wand and your partner, Desu, but do not accuse someone based on their looks." The professor cut his speech, and he couldn't do anything but shut his mouth up.
When he went outside, a punch welcomed him. He was thrown up because of the force of the punch. He felt a liquid flowing from his nose and lips. When he looked at the suspect, it was Erin who was looking at him furiously.
Erin was about to use his magic power when a barrier covered Juho to save him from it. Juho looked at the person who helped him.
"Erin, stop," Desu ordered Erin. "I said stop!" she exclaimed.
"Get off, Desu. He deserves a lesson," Erin angrily said.
"Stop it, will you?" she said. Erin looked at him with an angry face.
"Why are you defending that bastard? He accused me!" he said.
Juho curiously looked at Erin after hearing what he had just said. How come he knew about it when he and Professor Kim were the only ones there inside the room?
"What the hell are you talking about?" he asked curiously. Instead of answering him, Erin used his full power to defeat Desu's barrier and make her throw away. From his curious expression, his face changed into irritation, and he stood up to fight Erin.
Everyone who was inside was shocked because of Juho's sudden action. He was fighting Erin using the magic that came out of his hand. It was dark, light, and water elements combining with each other. Even Erin was stunned and lost his focus, which made him defeated.
The spherical was filled with murmurs upon seeing his power. And Erin was looking at him like he had missed him for a long time.
"Kaemon..." he uttered, but Juho was angry enough for him to ignore him.
"You can hurt me every time you want, but not on Desu," he mumbled. He uses his power to lift him up. His eyes were on fire, and he was greeted his teeth. "Fight me, you coward!" he said. Erin fought back and cast off the power that was choking him. He fell to the ground, but immediately regained his energy and stood up.
Furious came back inside Erin's and looked at him angrily. "I am a legendary and you dared to accuse me!" he exclaimed and cast his power, but Juho immediately defended himself. "I would never have an interest in the wand because I am powerful myself!" he added. Juho suddenly changed his expression.
"But..." he stuttered.
"That was my normal expression," Erin cleared himself. "I was looking like that because I was thinking maybe we could join together to find the wand," he said. "I am not a thief," he added.
"Erin!" A voice from nowhere suddenly broke the silent ambiance that surrounded them after Erin cleared his name. They all looked at the person who had just arrived.
"Jin Ah!" Desu and Erin both excitedly said.
While Juho, on the other hand, felt a guilt after accusing Erin, maybe that was the reason why Professor Kim defended Erin earlier. Because Erin is a legendary and he is considered powerful.
But if it isn't Erin, who would steal the wand? He looked at them, who were embracing each other. He heard Erin apologize to Desu, and Desu immediately forgave him.
"Who's Kaemon?" he whispered that made Erin look at him. They stared at each other before Erin looked at his friends' back.
Why does he soften earlier in the midst of their fight after he casts some power?
And the most unexpected and unexplainable thing he asked himself. How did he get that kind of power?
