Moving Through The Town of Diversities

With those wished to leave gone, those who stood behind got acquainted with each other.

"The one suitable has come..." murmured the girl with cascading azure locks and piercing icy-blue eyes as she gazed up at the skies with a mix of anticipation and a hint of joy.

"The time of Awakening draws near," she muttered, lost in thought as she walked through the bustling streets of the town.

The town was a melting pot of diverse races, each with their unique facial features that set them apart. Yet, they coexisted in harmony, bustling back and forth in a peaceful manner.

"This place exudes an air of serenity," Mu Kongdong remarked softly as he strolled through the town, accompanied by the others.

After the conclusion of their discussion in the Grand Pavilion, the Admirals were granted a brief respite to explore and rest.

They were also provided with pristine white robes to change into as they moved about and awaited the next course of action.

"I couldn't agree more," Chang Jianhong concurred, walking alongside Mu Kongdong and all the others.

"Based on what Senior Li Mingze mentioned, this town is unique. It serves as a harmonious abode for people of all races, and is completely under his command," Mu Kongdong remarked as he observed the town while walking.

"Given his incomprehensible Cultivation base, he must be a renowned figure on this Globe World to achieve such a feat," Chang Jianhong responded.

"That's undoubtedly true," Mu Kongdong agreed with a nod.

"Something feels off," Luo Yin thought as he glanced around the town, "Why is it that my Qi Flow seems to feel so anxious?"

"It was slightly evident from the moment I came on this Globe World but now it seems to feel more and more pressing."

"What is it bothers you, Your Excellency?" Yang Shen asked as he observed Luo Yin's rather pale complexion.

"I'm not sure," Luo Yin replied as he regarded Yang Shen for a moment and shifted his gaze, "There seems to be something off... Please do not mind me, milord."

"I see. If there's anything in particular that bothers you then please do inform us," Yang Shen said with a thoughtful expression.

"Very well," Luo Yin replied.

They explored the town for a considerable duration, encountering diverse individuals from different races and several intriguing sights along the way.

The town's vast expanse spanned several tens of kilometers, demarcated by imposing walls that partitioned its districts.

Commanding the town's central skyline was the Grand Tower, serving as its centerpiece.

As the day progressed, the sun began to set, casting a reddish hue across the sky.

"I believe it's time to make our way towards the central region of the town, as Senior Li Mingze mentioned. Someone should be awaiting us there," Mu Kongdong suggested.

Luo Yin nodded his head slightly in agreement.

As they continued their stroll, they coincidentally encountered the blue-haired girl they had come across earlier. It seemed they had arrived at their intended destination.

Luo Yin recognized the familiar face of the girl from their earlier encounter.

"Isn't that the girl from before?" Luo Yin said as he gazed at her.

Hearing Luo Yin's words, Chang Jianhong gazed at her for a moment before speaking up, "Hmm... Yes, if I remember correctly, she's the one who served us tea in the Grand Pavilion."

"Let's go after her then," Jia Lin said as he shrugged his shoulders and glanced at everyone for a moment.

Everyone nodded in agreement to him.

As they walked closer to her, the girl gestured towards them, "This way, please," leading them to a luxurious hotel after a short walk.

She engaged in a conversation with the manager of the said hotel, while everyone patiently waited for her.

The manager glanced at the group briefly before nodding his head as the conversation concluded.

The girl then guided them to a grand hall within the hotel.

"Esteemed guests, this hall has been designated for your collective use. Should you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to avail yourselves of the hotel's services. They will cater to your needs," she informed them courteously.

"You mean to say that this expansive room is meant to be shared by all of us?" Zhao Fengge inquired, his brow furrowing with concern.

"Yes, indeed. This entire room is designated for collective use by all of you," the girl replied serenely, maintaining her composed demeanor.

Chang Jianhong interjected with a worried expression, "Is it not feasible to have individual rooms assigned to each of us?"

"I regret to inform you that it is not possible. Lord Li Mingze specifically suggested that this room be utilized by all of you together," she explained calmly.

"I-I understand," Chang Jianhong sighed, accepting the situation.

"Well, if there are no further matters to attend to, then I shall take my leave," she said, turning to depart.

Before she could exit the room, Luo Yin, wearing a serene smile, inquired, "May we know your name?"

She stopped and turned around to look at Luo Yin, "Please forgive me, I almost forgot to Introduce myself."

"My name is Mei Ling. I am the Representative of the Dragon race in this Town," She said as she bowed her head slightly, "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"I'm Luo Yin, pleasure knowing you," Luo Yin said as he bowed his head slightly as well.

The others followed suit and introduced themselves in order as well.

"Representative? Why would a representative be guiding us and even serving Tea? That's more like an attendant's work, right?" Mu Kongdong thought.

"So, Miss Mei, if you don't mind, can we ask a few questions?" Luo Yin asked maintaining a respectful demeanor.

"If it's something that I can answer," Mei Ling replied positively, "Please go ahead."

Receiving the positive reply, Luo Yin continued to ask, "What exactly is happening with this world?"

"I believe that you people do not have any knowledge regarding the demographics and the Races of this world, right?" Mei Ling asked.

"That is correct," Luo Yin responded with a nod.

"Then I believe it will be a little complex for you people to understand but to say the least, there has been a series of concerning troubles that have been occurring all across the continent."

"What kind of troubles?"

"The kind which could potentially end up igniting a war. A war which would annihilate every species on this Globe World." She answered with a saddened expression.

She further added, "The Dragon Race is the centre of all the powers in this World. The Yellow Emperor of the Dragon Race rules this world and there's been a rumour circling around, according to which the Emperor has fallen ill," She gazed into Luo Yin's eyes as she continued, "I believe you can grasp the situation to some extent based on this."

"I see," Luo Yin thought to himself as he continued to speak, "Is it confirmed that the Emperor has fallen ill?"

"Well, that is something I do not know of but the fact that the Emperor refuses to make any appearances is uncanny to say the least." Mei Ling replied.

"For the emperor to remain silent on issues that threaten the trust of people and the integrity of his rule is surely not ideal," Luo Yin thought.

"Someone is targetting to lower the integrity of the Yellow Emperor," Mu Kongdong interjected.

"That is most likely true," Luo Yin said as he acknowledged his words with a nod, "But in any case, the major problem is that the Emperor refuses to make an appearance which further serves as a foundation to solidify the rumour of him being ill."

"That is right," Mei Ling said, "I'll be taking my leave now as I have other matters to attend to."

"Thank you for sharing the information with us Miss Mei," Luo Yin said.

"It was nothing, It was natural for me to do so," She said as she turned out and left the room.

Mu Kongdong interjected with a teasing tone, "I didn't realize Excellency Luo was an expert in stealing a maiden's heart."

With a disinterested expression, Luo Yin retorted, "I don't like such jokes."

"Serious type, huh?" Mu Kongdong said, "I remember someone saying that us of the Alliance could never match the seriousness of the Imperial bunch."

"I must say that seems to come from a reliable source," Zhao Fengge interjected with a proud smile plastered on his face.

"Eh... Who are you? I don't remember you existing among us," Mu Kongdong said.

"Haha, brat I shall have you know that I, Zhao Fengge, am one of the master strategist of the Empire's Military," Zhao Fengge said.

"Are you the one who came up with that absurd strategy in battle?" Mu Kongdong asked with an intrigued expression.
