The Renegade

Asmodeus, the renowned Young Lord of Fiends, was infamous for being the most treacherous and disloyal of them all, thus earning him the moniker, "Renegade."

Whispers in the dark suggest that he was responsible for selling out his own race's top-secret information, including war strategies and even killing his own kin, which ultimately led to their defeat in battle.

However, the rumors were only partially true, and the reality was far more complex than what was being circulated.

In truth, Asmodeus did betray his own kind, but his motivations were rooted in nobility.

The war was entirely unjustified and was only waged due to the greed of the Fiend King, who craved more power and authority.

The Fiend King's insatiable thirst for power led him to wage a series of brutal wars that brought several opposing races to the brink of extinction.

Asmodeus, however, was not devoid of compassion and refused to let innocents suffer due to the King's greed.

He rebelled against his own race and divulged all the war's secrets and strategies to the enemy race, thereby helping them emerge victorious and ultimately bringing an end to the war.

The enemy race was able to regain their lost territories that had been seized by the Fiends, and Asmodeus' act of bravery and selflessness made him a hero among the defeated.

To the surprise of many, the unexpected hero who aided the enemy race in ending the war was none other than the Young Lord of Fiends himself, Asmodeus.

His rebellion against his own people was unprecedented, and the Fiends struggled to come to terms with such a betrayal from one of their own.

As the Young Lord, Asmodeus was not sentenced to death, but instead, the Fiends opted to exile him from the race and added his name to their infamous "Execution List."

Any Fiend who encountered him was to execute him and report back to the Court to receive a handsome reward.

Following his exile, Asmodeus wandered the continent alone in search of adventure and meaning.

Along the way, he crossed paths with many of his former allies, but the fear of being hunted down by his own kind prevented him from interacting with them.

He longed to inquire about their experiences and catch up, but the kill order had made him a pariah.

Despite his fighting prowess, Asmodeus refused to engage in combat with his former allies, unwilling to harm them.

He was determined to avoid causing any more suffering and chaos, even if it meant wandering aimlessly for years.

At times, he questioned his own sanity, wondering if he had truly gone mad for betraying his own people.

Years passed, and Asmodeus' name was eventually forgotten, but his title as "The Renegade" continued to linger in the hearts of the Fiends, a testament to the legacy he had left behind.

As fate would have it, Asmodeus eventually stumbled upon the Qing Clan of the Dragon Race and found refuge among them.

Unlike many others who had shunned him, the people of the Dragon race welcomed him with open arms and offered him sanctuary.

As the Prince of Fiends, Asmodeus knew he couldn't stay in one place for too long, but he still made a point to visit the Dragon race from time to time.

Over time, the Dragon race became a sort of temporary home for him, a place where he could rest and recharge before setting off on his next adventure.

Little did he know that his association with the Dragon race would play a pivotal role in the Prophecy's Revelations.

Asmodeus had unwittingly become a part of something much larger than himself, something that would alter the course of everything and change the fate of many.

His actions and decisions had set into motion a chain of events that would lead to the ultimate fulfillment of the Prophecy.

The mighty starships that had hovered above the town had finally found a suitable landing spot in a large, open valley just a short distance away.

Here, they were shielded by a myriad of protective arrays, ensuring their safety and security.

The crew of the starships, comprising a formidable number, was offered comfortable lodgings in the town.

Due to their sheer numbers, they were spread out across multiple hotels, providing each member with ample space to rest and recharge.

In the mean time, the esteemed Admirals were summoned to the Grand Tower at the heart of the town for an urgent discussion.

Here, they were to further obtain information regarding their next step.

It was nighttime, Luo Yin walked through the misty streets of the town alone on his way back to the hotel.

"Here you are, Your Excellency!" It was Lin Feng.

"Oh, Lin Feng? Right, the Ink Dragon Fleet has settled down," Luo Yin asked.

"That's right but where were you for such a long time?" Lin Feng inquired.

Luo Yin thought for a moment, a smile forming on his fair complexion as he continued to reply, "Well, it's like this…"
