An Enigmatic Existence

Curious, Luo Yin inquired in a calm tone, "Are there individuals in this world capable of similar feats?"

Meeting Luo Yin's gaze, Asmodeus responded with a smile, "Indeed, there exist numerous individuals who possess such prowess, and some who can achieve even greater feats. However, we can find solace in the fact that they will remain dormant as long as Lord Li Mingze presides over this realm."

"Oh, why exactly is that?" Luo Yin asked with a curious expression.

A smile danced on Asmodeus' lips as he replied, "It is because... they are scared, I guess."

"I see," responded Luo Yin, his expression thoughtful.

"Inevitably so," Luo Yin mused to himself, recognizing the logic behind their apprehension.

Seeking to delve deeper into the enigmatic figure of Li Mingze, Luo Yin posed another question, "What knowledge do you possess about him?"

"Truth be told, little is known. He remains a mystery, an outsider whose origins and background elude us all," remarked Asmodeus.

"And yet, there are those who place their trust in him, and others who are deterred from taking action solely because of his presence. Is that not peculiar?" probed Luo Yin.

"Indeed, it is a curious circumstance," Asmodeus agreed, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "The most perplexing aspect is that he endeavors to aid us, the inhabitants of this world, despite having minimal personal stake in it."

Luo Yin inwardly acknowledged the oversight, reflecting on Asmodeus' words. With an inquisitive gaze fixed upon his companion, he queried, "By any chance, was this town also established by him?"

A nod accompanied Asmodeus' response, "Indeed. This town, shielded from the turmoil of the outside world, owes its existence to him."

Expanding upon the subject, Asmodeus continued, "The town has been partitioned into distinct districts, each fortified by formidable walls. Within these districts, headquarters of various races have been established, ensuring the provision of essential resources to their respective communities. In collaboration with Lord Li Mingze, they work harmoniously to safeguard peace and tranquility."

Luo Yin's mind brimmed with curiosity, pondering whether Li Mingze's actions stemmed from pure generosity or concealed ulterior motives.

Soon, they arrived at their designated hotel, where Lin Feng stood attentively near the reception, anticipating their return.

"Your Excellency, how did your meeting with Senior Li Mingze go?" Lin Feng respectfully inquired, bowing his head.

With a serene countenance, Luo Yin responded, a gentle smile gracing his lips. "Everything unfolded as expected. In a week's time, we shall embark on our mission, relocating to a different destination."

Lin Feng nodded, comprehending the implications of their forthcoming departure.

Changing the location to the lounge, Luo Yin and Lin Feng continued their Discussion.

"So, we are really going to go with this path? I understand that Your Excellency holds no trust in either the Eternal Empire or the Human Dao Alliance but still, is there no other way?" Lin Feng inquired.

"Haha, there isn't, what the Seven Clans have repeated since the very beginning, never came to fruition. It is foolish to try such methods to unite them," Luo Yin replied. "You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."

"At first, I thought it would be impossible. It was just me and my delusional thinking after all, I lacked the strength to pull it off. But now that I have been offered with a way to acquire the power... There's no backing off in this," Luo Yin thought.

"I see," Lin Feng muttered to himself. "So, you have made up your mind."

He continued, "I have come in contact with them just as Your Excellency had told me to."

Hearing his words, Luo Yin continued and said, "Good, now the next course of action should be..."

In a distant realm within the vast expanse of the cosmos.

Within the resplendent chambers of his palace, the Emperor reclined upon his regal throne, engrossed in deliberations with his esteemed officials regarding the perplexing loss of an entire Fleet.

The commander at the helm of this lost Fleet was none other than the youthful Admiral Luo Yin, a figure who had earned the Emperor's favor due to his exceptional prowess in the art of warfare and strategic acumen and also personal issues which were strictly hidden from the world.

News trickled in from soldiers returning from the battlefield, the Imperial Fleet Commander Luo Yin ruthlessly charged into the Enemy formation.

Moreover, it was the elusive adversaries employing the formidable Cerberus Formation.

Undeterred due to his ruthlessness and heedless tactics, Admiral Luo Yin valiantly assailed the enemy, delivering a crushing blow to their impenetrable ranks.

"Luo Yin, have you really fallen...?" the Emperor pondered, his mind grappling with uncertainty as he contemplated the veracity of this report.

The question lingered in his mind, "What manner of situation is this?"

Observing the Emperor's contemplative state, a court official respectfully inquired, "Your Excellency, is there any message you wish to convey regarding this matter?"

Deep in thought, the Emperor stroked his chin, deliberating on the gravity of the situation. "The vessel he presided over was unparalleled—a singular treasure at moment. But that won't be the case anymore once we start mass producing it."

Having pondered the matter for a while, the Emperor resumed his discourse, instructing his officials, "Sigh... It is a mundane matter. Dispatch an Exploration Fleet, equipped with suitable military vessels, to search for the Lost Imperial Fleet."

"As you command, Your Majesty!" The court officer promptly departed from the hall without hesitation.

The Emperor's conviction resonated strongly as he reflected, "Given the current situation, the subjugation of the Misty Cloud Peak as a whole is of far more importance but without Luo Yin..."

"Once the Misty Cloud Peak is subdued, my dominion over this vast cosmos shall be inevitable," A determined gleam sparkled in the Emperor's eyes as he envisioned a future of supremacy, proclaiming to himself.
