Bathed in the radiant glow of the sun, the Admirals, under the esteemed Azure Ancestor Qing Sheng, were dispatched to scour through the vicinity where the lifeless bodies had been discovered by the citizens residing within the capital's borders.

Mu Kongdong, his countenance a portrait of contemplation, gazed upon the ghastly sight that lay before him, the corpses sprawled motionless upon the ground.

"Truly, this is a heinous and macabre deed," he mused, his voice laced with a mix of solemnity and dismay.

Within the horrid tableau, the lifeless bodies exhibited a multitude of grotesque and mutilated forms.

Some bore the brutal absence of their severed heads, while others were ruthlessly cleaved in twain, their torsos severed from their lower halves.

Further still, several victims displayed gaping cavities in their abdomens, while a handful had their dismembered limbs strewn haphazardly about.
