Continue With Core Making

"I wanted to ask you, my prince… what are you carrying on your back?" Zi Ji asked with a curious tone. Why did he have a shirt turned into a bag? It looked like some sort of a weapon.

He doesn't care, and honestly, this sword will make a nice decoration in his Palace. 

After satisfying the pair's curiosity they all returned to the closest city where Xue Long contacted the army. It was time to add Slaughter City to the fold. 

The village will be removed and in its place, a fortress will be built. The Fortress will work as a penal colony for the wide Continent.

Some of the rules and regulations will be adjusted to place criminals there.

Now that there are no other forces on the Continent, Spirit Hall doesn't need to hide their Titled Douluos or hold back to withhold the law. 

Instead, their attention is moved towards that relationship with Spirit Beasts.

It was something which has been discussed with Spirit Hall and the Imperial Court.

Many dumb people will be removed, they are so dumb that Xue Long wanted to send them to Slaughter City.

The first one which comes to mind is Time. His Golden Dragon King has an affinity towards it, and it can affect time itself.

'Not only that, but Gu Yuena has a Space Attribute as well.' 

He smiled internally. He should be able to speed run this… 

As he thought about that his Golden Dragon King manifested in front of him. The pair sat down in meditative positions and Xue Long started to gather 'time' in his hands.

The Crown Prince quickly realised that… the process is going to be quite long.

Then he summoned his rings and added his first and Eight Ring to the mix. Those have Passive Time effects as well.

This has tripled the speed of 'time' concentrations, to fasten this more he activated his Cultivation and Enlightenment Domains…

Two at once… this was something he did for the first time… two domains at once.

The maids stopped in their tracks and looked around… it was a familiar view but at the same time it was not. Their eyes went to the distance as they saw a man cultivating under a tree…

The first core to take the spot was time. 

After fusing with the core the Crown Prince opened his eyes and looked around.

It was so strange that he tried to turn this off… which he could but then he turned it on. 

He was curious about what he was seeing. He was seeing the flow of time. 

Could he grasp it? Normally he could not for some reason. But with Spirit Energy? He could. So he coated a bubble with Spirit Energy and tried to make the flow faster!

Turned out that he could make himself move faster! In that bubble! 

"This is cool… I could train several times faster with this!" He thought about the perks of this… he even stroked his chin. If he practises this more he could become better at time control!

After testing this more… and making his maids confused, Xue Long's gaze went to Gu Yue who was spacing out for a bit.

He walked over to her and hugged her from behind.

His actions made her blush immediately. Not that he paid attention to her as he pulled her even closer to himself.

Putting his head on her shoulder.

"Tell me what made you space out like this?" His warm voice made her ears tickle for a bit.

"...You, who else?" She said with blushing cheeks, this was embarrassing. Why did he have to get close to her now!?

Once he heard her response he decided to pick her up and take her somewhere to sit. 

Seeing how she got manhandled and picked up so effortlessly Gu Yue could only resign to her fate of being embarrassed and most likely being made to do something more…

Once they ended up away from everyone Xue Long took his seat under a tree with the Silver Dragon Girl on his lap.

"Now, why don't you tell me what you have been thinking."

"...can we just skip this and get to the point?" She asked, almost begging him to do something else!

"Point? Point of what? You are my maid, I can have you like this any time I want." 

"...fine…that domain of yours made me realise that you made me…like…you? Something should not happen… we are destined to consume one another in some fashion in the future…" Gu Yue said with some embarrassment and reluctance. By all means, she will lose so she most likely thinks that she will die.

"...What are you talking about? I overcame the urge to 'consume' your Martial Spirit ages ago." Xue Long snorted as he hugged the dragoness closer. His hands wrapped around her. He is finding having her like this quite relaxing… it's a different kind of feeling from Qian Renxue, with her it's a warm cuddling thing but with the blackish-purple-haired girl, it's more like a home sort of thing?

Is it because she is a dragon?

Well, it doesn't matter if she ain't going anywhere, he can experiment more.

This should not be possible.

"Yes… I know him, he is the God who enforces the laws in the God Realm. Did you finish the trial?" She asked him curiously, is he trying to inherit that position? Though there is no point he will ascend as Golden Dragon King either way.

"I took over the trial, going to use it as a Penal Colony for all the ruffians and the idiots of the Continent."

"... I should have known… there is no respect in you for this kind of thing, isn't it?" By this point, Gu Yue can understand that he doesn't give a flying damn about Inheritances and God Positions!

"...There is none. I dislike the whole concept that I will take over someone's position. A position which I didn't make myself." He said with a frown, there was distaste in his eyes. 

Cheating to the realm of gods with the help of a God… that's just lazy! He will do this himself!

"What you are saying is many times harder, while there are easier ways to do it."

"Doesn't matter, this is why I need you to fuse with Na'er for a bit. I need Gu Yuena for my next core creation."

"Hmm? Do you need my other form? I don't mind…" Gu Yue nodded, but then she slightly blushed like from remembering the last time she was Gu Yuena… it's an embarrassing moment.
