An Unknown Future

After Guanyin Bodhisattva came out of the secret room, she walked towards the hall of the palace where she was resting. The children in the hall saw that the Bodhisattva had come out, so they hurriedly served tea and set fresh fruit for the Bodhisattva.

Before the Bodhisattva had even sat down, she said to Qinglong, "Qinglong, go and bring Baihu here. I have some orders for you! Go back quickly and without delay! No fighting on the road!" Qinglong took orders and went away.

When the children saw that the Bodhisattva had a beautiful girl with him, they could not hide their curiosity. Will she be practising here with us every day from now on?"

After taking a sip of tea, Bodhisattva Guanyin said nonchalantly, "She is the legendary Fairy Ziwei, who will soon be on Earth to save humanity and cannot practise here! But I have implanted the Buddhist scripture incantation into her spiritual body, and when she is reincarnated and reincarnated, she will begin to practise as soon as the karmic time is right. A few of you children will also go with her to reincarnate on Earth to assist in the glorious mission of saving humanity! You must quickly go and prepare the Great Compassionate Water Feast that I taught you to prepare a few days ago, and as soon as the Green Dragon and White Tiger arrive, you must leave after we have eaten together. All the children in my palace must come today, I have something important to explain!"

The children took their orders and went away.

After the children left, the palace hall was silent, the white flowers and green grass in the garden outside the palace swayed gently with the breeze, and a charming fragrance of flowers wafted into the hall and gently melted into the nostrils of Fairy Ziwei. Fairy Ziwei was overjoyed to see her transcendent beauty in the hall's mirror. "Goddess of Mercy, thank you for giving me such a perfect body and face! Your palace is so beautiful! There is a fresh scent everywhere, I so wish I could live here for a long time and practise with you!"

"I understand how you feel, for no one who comes to me would want to leave! But you have an important mission waiting for you to complete, and if you complete your mission, you too can become a Buddha or a Bodhisattva or a saint and have your own unique kingdom or palace! But before you can complete your mission, you have a long way to go, and the road may be muddy and thorny, or you may be misunderstood and disliked and vilified, and you may be wounded physically and mentally and cry tears of helplessness as a result! The world is full of smoke, and the forces of evil may attack you! You may have to suffer all the hardships of the world! But no matter what, you must not forget to save humanity! My words, do you remember them?" The Bodhisattva said in a serious tone.

After hearing the Bodhisattva's words, Fairy Ziwei was so frightened that she couldn't help but burst into hot tears, as her mind conjured up a scene of horrific images! Those images presented all kinds of sufferings she might encounter!

"Bodhisattva of compassion, can I not go to earth? I don't think I can bear the burden of saving humanity! I just want to close my eyes and not care about those evil forces that are spreading everywhere! I don't want to become a Buddha or a saint either, I just want to stay by your side and practise with you! I don't want to be crucified and suffer like Jesus who was once born on earth! I'm so scared!" Fairy Violet couldn't help but cry! How many sacred souls had been persecuted by horrible humans! She had no idea what kind of experience she faced when she arrived on earth! Would she die a gruesome death at the hands of evil men like Jesus? She dared not think any further! Tears fell from her face like broken beads! Fairy Ziwei looked at the Bodhisattva with tears streaming down her face, a helpless look on her face!

"You can't push this mission, no one but you can accomplish it! Don't you worry, I will assist you and protect you in times of need!" The Bodhisattva said compassionately, reassuring her.

"Bodhisattva, you are divine, you should be more suitable than me to save humanity! Why do I have to go?" Fairy Ziwei didn't know how she could be so bold as to speak so bluntly to the Bodhisattva! But the matter was so important that she could only ask the question with a stiff upper lip!

"Ziwei! You must not be unreasonable! No one can replace you! This is the arrangement of the heavens! This is the path of your cultivation! The task on your path of cultivation is yours alone to complete ..."

Fairy Ziwei wanted to say something else but swallowed the words on the edge of her mouth! Tears blurred her eyes, what was her future? Everything was a mystery!
