Little Caesar and his mother run Egypt together in a political context of crisis

The news of Caesar's assassination was mere news to ordinary people, but to Cleopatra VII, who loved Caesar dearly, it was no less than a bolt from the blue! When she had returned to the palace to join her trusted servants and bodyguards, she told her faithful follower and bodyguard Apollodorus to have the Egyptian army ready to stand by, and she told Angela to keep watch in her bedroom to ensure the safety of little Caesar, while Cleopatra VII and Alexander took some troops to Ptolemy XIV's residence to find him! When she arrives at Ptolemy XIV's residence with her army, she finds that Ptolemy XIV has been killed! The assassin presumably still wanted to assassinate Cleopatra VII and the young Caesar, but fortunately Cleopatra VII had returned safely to the palace through a secret passage and had rejoined her bodyguards and army, and the assassin saw Cleopatra VII coming with her army and had to flee the palace as fast as she could!
