Chapter 38

After smoking, Sam laid in bed with Kyle and had mixed feelings about what was going on. Being with Kyle here was a thrilling, sexual experience but it did not take away that he was engaged to another . Accepting what Kyle wanted from her, meant that marriage was out of the question for them. What about family? Would Kyle's parents and in laws expect Kyle and Sarah to start a family? Off course they would!

Kyle! Sam called out.

Yes Sam! Kyle answered while he was looking at the movie.

When are you expected to get marrried? Sam asked and felt Kyle's body tense next to hers.

Possibly in three months or so Sam! Why do you ask? Kyle asked with concern as he looked at her.

I love you Kyle and what we have together is everything I pictured my life would be with the guy I chose to settle down with. But I don't think I can go through with what you want from me! Sam said and instantly saw the disappointment on Kyle's face.

Other than you not carrying my surname,  what's  stopping you Sam? Kyle asked with a raised eyebrow.

What about a family Kyle? Don't you think your parents or your fiance's parents would want you to srart a family with kids? Sam asked sarcastically.

Sam do you want me to leave? To walk away and never return in your life? Kyle asked as he came next to her and started passing his fingers on her nipples, hoping and praying her answer would be no.

No Kyle but how long do you expect things to remain this way with us? Sam asked

Well have you seen how you look naked as I take you…I'll say forever! Kyle said and sucked on her cleavage.

I don't want to keep you against your will Sam but this here, is exactly how I want us to be forever.  Just take me back and I promise you this is exactly how it will be with us. Kyle said as he looked into her eyes and kissed her.

Don't Kyle! Don't make promises that you can not keep! Are you forgetting that you're engaged to Sarah? When you get married, won't you be living there and starting a family? Sam said irritated

Sam I assure you it's not going to be like that…this here will be our life always. And when I decide to start a family, I want to start it with you! No one else Kyle answered.

Do you know what you're asking me to do Kyle? You're asking me to be your mistress! Do I deserve that? Don't I deserve to be married with a family? Sam said annoyed

You deserve to be happy with me. I promise you Sam that I will make you happy! Kyle said and got up and walked out the bedroom not wanting to have an argument with Sam.

Sam wanted to believe that Kyle meant every word that he was saying. However she was torn between having this with Kyle or her life without him. She wondered if her past abusive relationship cause her to excuse Kyle situation and for her to be considering his offer. Or was it that she just loved the way he made her feel when he was with her. Could she be a mistress? Was it so bad since she knew his family needed this marriage for financial securities to afford the lifestyle they kept. Hell, even Kyle used this money to support himself! Sam felt confused.

Kyle laid on the lounge by the pool and thought about this entire mess he was in. He felt that he could not stop love Sam because he didn't know how to. How do you stop love the person that completes you and challenges you to be better? And what type of lifestyle could he provide for her if he didn't agree to the marriage. He was asking alot from Sam to accept that this marriage is beyond his control. But she had to experience what their life would be like if they remained together and he hoped that this vacation would seal the deal.
