The two of them asked their questions and interacted with someone or something as they asked what they wanted to know. Through their conversations, they now know that somehow someone was killed here somewhere around 2006 and that body was currently buried in the backyard on the left wing of the hospital. Though they didn't immediately go there as they will come back here in the day to look at the yard as they're still in the middle of an investigation.
Also, they got to know that something was here with them. While they were talking and asking their questions, they suddenly heard a disembodied voice along with some occasional whistles. But although that was pretty spooky, the two shook it off and continued with their investigation. Now they are on their way to the Emergency Room and they are currently in the hallway.
"...go left..."
"Left? But there's nothing on our left, Nathalia?" Alexa looked at her left in confusion as she asked her friend.
But when Alexa looked at Nathalia, she had a confused look on her face too.
"What do you mean? I didn't say anything." Nathalia said as she looked at her friend as if looking at an airhead.
Alexa stammered and failed to find words as she frantically defended herself, "B-But you said that... didn't you? You said go left right?"
"That's not me, idiot!" Nathalia looked around carefully when the thought of someone mimicking her voice dawned on her. She scanned their surroundings with vigilant eyes.
By now it also dawned on Alexa's mind. Her face paled as she joined Nathalia in looking around them carefully. She had almost been fooled, if not for there not being anything on her left then she could've fallen to that insidious trap.
"Alexa, contact Alec and ask if there's nothing on the camera right now." Nathalia said as she continued to look around, not relaxing her guard.
But before Alexa could call Alec, her radio began buzzing as a sign of incoming call.
**bzzzt** "I got some information on Julia Xiang. According to police records and old hospital records of that place, she was in a coma after a car accident and was transferred in that hospital after a few weeks in coma. She was then found to have been killed during her recovery period three days after her transfer along with two others who are also victims of the homicide. The most mysterious thing was that there was no signs of struggle or any of such thing even though no poison or any of such things were found according to the report. Anyways, there were rumors that she's one of the reasons why the hospital closed and that she's still in there till now. That's all I found reading the police files and internet records. How are you two doing?" **bzzt**
Alexa looked at Nathalia and they stared at each other for a while before Alexa decided to contact Alec, "We're fine... for now. Anyways, thanks for the info bro. Also, can you search for unsolved homicide cases filed in the year 2006?"
**bzzzt** "Why are you asking? I think the hospital was already closed and abandoned for a year at that time isn't it?" **bzzzt**
Nathalia took the radio and answered him, "It's because the spirit box mentioned someone being killed here in the year 2006 and there being a body on the backyard at the left wing. Aside from that, did you see anything odd on the camera a few minutes ago?"
**bzzzt** "I'll look for the info. Also, I didn't see anything amiss earlier, did something happen?" **bzzzt**
"That..." Nathalia sighed and continued, "It's nothing. Continue watching the cameras and tell us if there's anything."
**bzzzt** "Roger that. I'll look at the unsolved case files for year 2006, wait a bit for the results." **bzzzt**
As the surrounding reverted to being eerily silent, Alexa looked at Nathalia and asked her, "What now? Do we continue?"
"Continue!" Nathalia said with a determined gleam in her eyes.
The two of them then continued walking to the emergency room extremely close to each other. They ignored the distracting knocks and silent footsteps they heard as they moved forward bravely. Not long after, they arrived at the door of the emergency room. But they were disappointed with what they saw.
"Locked?" Nathalia was surprised to see the emergency surgery room to be locked. She thought that the whole hospital was abandoned anyway so no one would bother to lock anything.
Alexa then spoke as she remembered something, "I remember the owner of the hospital said that almost all of the rooms were locked. He also said that he wasn't sure if the emergency room was also locked as he haven't been here for years now."
Nathalia looked at the rusty lock and said, "Right, let's just do the EVP session here... in front of the door. Although we can't enter the room, we can still acquire good information even if we're outside."
Alexa nodded and took the Recorder from her bag. She then gave the recorder to Nathalia and pointed the camera at her.
Looking at the camera, Nathalia spoke, "Now we'll do an EVP session. For those who don't know what it is, this recorder is extremely sensitive. I don't want to drop this as even a low drop would break this delicate thing. This will help us hear the voice of whatever is around us right now."
"Let's start. You go ask the first question Alexa." Nathalia said as she started the recorder.
Alexa thought for a bit and asked, "Who mimicked Nathalia's voice earlier?"
Nathalia's face grew ugly as she looked at Alex speechlessly as if saying, 'A bomb right at the start?!'.
"Who are currently around us right now?" Nathalia asked her question nonetheless even though she was looking at Alexa resentfully.
She was scared of knowing the answer. Who wouldn't find it scary and creepy when your own voice was mimicked by someone right in front of you, moreso when you're in the middle of an abandoned hospital with nobody but the two of you in.
"What happened to Julia Xiang?" Alexa asked before Nathalia stopped the recording and played back the audio as the two listened carefully.
