Can't help but look around as I mindlessly walk through the hall's without any clear objective.
Everything amazed me, what was the use of corridors so wide, how many lockers are there even, where those two fighting?
Maybe it's because I've never been to college but is it supposed to be this cliche???
Maybe thanks to some weird divine being up above, I won't have to deal with any fight starting girls, I'm not really one to stand being stepped on so it doesn't even have to be her starting the fight.
Nothing like that will happen as long as I've got my music, plus I'm filling way too bubbly for any kind of fighting not like I'm any good at talking back...
Yeah what's embarrassing about me is that I'm unable to think of any vocal response to any rude action that's directed at me.
My brother even used to say I worked in 3 different ways depending on the situation and my mood!
Firstly laugher, yep pretty effective way to discourage most rude people. Another way I can someone's react is by keeping quiet bitting my lip and looking away, but that only happens if I'm already depressed or whatever was said hit home. The last options is basically when pissed of Aitana comes out and I can someone become quite agressif, for that I either need to have previously been really pissed off or you've touched a no-no topic.
No-no topic, what are those? To put it easy, things I don't mess with. Like family, my team and close friends
Taking a seat in my first class I chose a spot that isn't at the back but not quite at the front either.
Most looks are on me But that's was to be expected, most of them have lived here since childhood!
Feels weird for me too, I mean by now I would've been hanging out with the boys back at home... Actually to them it's probably the end of afternoon practice!
Just as I say this my phone starts ringing attracting more looks, I look at the call ID confused to see it's hidden.
Still I pick up and am immediately answered with yelling on the other side of the line.
?
Sweetheart, babe oh my hunny pie we miss you!!!
I cringe at the loud yelling pulling the phone away, great now people are looking at me like I'm an alien!
The voice to me was easily recognize Wich in turn explained the why to that peculiar welcome. The boy yelling in a high pitch faking a strong British accent was Nacho, one of my rugby teammates...
Nacho
I'm telling you, come back to be baby girl, I can give you much more that those boring gringo's!
His voice was back to it's normal deep yet loud pitch, but he was still talking English for some reason. Did this idiot not know I was at school right now?!
Aitana
Nacho vete a la mierda, agradece que no pueda pegarte por teléfono! [Nacho, go to hell, be thankful I can't hit you through the phone!]
