The Disappearance

Initially, Aneesha wanted to have a glimpse of Sriya's world so she agreed to do the telepathy with her but after she saw it she wanted more. For her Sriya's world was colorful as she can feel a different range of emotions. She realized what she was missing. Since childhood, she had a problem controlling her emotion because of her mental disease. She can't remember a single day in her life when people felt she was normal but now with Sriya's help she can be normal, she can be what her parents want her to be. The world that she only saw with a grey scale now has different colors and this improvement also helped her in creating a stronger bond with Sriya. Now Sriya doesn't need to come first to Aneesha. Aneesha will be waiting for Sriya to come home. When Sriya returns from the office Aneesha never leaves her side. She even sometimes demanded to sleep in the same bed with Sriya. Sriya was happy with this improvement but soon she realized the problem. Aneesha was slowly caging her. She won't let her talk to anyone else after she comes to her room. If she delays even for 5 min Aneesha will bombard her with questions to know what she was doing. Sriya felt exhausted. Aneesha was like the possessive and clingy girlfriend who will eat her boyfriend's head if she felt ignored for a few seconds. Sriya knew that it was not entirely Aneesha's fault. She was the one who forced Aneesha to do telepathy with her so she also had her share in this new development. So she tried to adjust according to Aneesha. Never talking to anyone after reaching home, trying to come home as soon as possible. If she ever felt like she will come home late she will inform Aneesha in advance. With her cooperation, everything went smoothly until Dec 2.

Sriya informed Aneesha that she will return home after midnight as her office has arranged a party. Aneesha didn't object her coz she knew how mandatory it is to join the office party for a newbie like Sriya. Even if Aneesha had gone to her office only for a couple of days, she has heard other people saying to her how an office party can be a great opportunity to get some strong connections. So she didn't retaliate with Sriya going to the party. She only waited for her. When it was midnight Aneesha opened the door and waited for Sriya to come. The hall now doesn't look abandoned with the sofa set that Sriya had bought. The haunted house looks more lively with the decoration that Sriya had planned. The kitchen which had only water bottles in the fridge now had all the cooking supplies and groceries. Every change in the apartment and of Aneesha happened because of Sriya. She realized that even before the telepathy Sriya was slowly changing her monotonous life. Aneesha, who was always dependent on take-outs now must cook dinner for both of them. When she came out of her thought she realized that it's been 1:00 AM now. She got more worried and called Sriya but she didn't pick up the call. She tried to connect to her through telepathy. That also failed. She came down and started pacing on the lawn while looking at the gate now and then. That continued until 2:00 AM, and still no sign of Sriya. Aneesha decided to go to the police. When she was about to open the gate to go to the police, she saw Sriya coming out of a Hyundai Elantra with the support of a man. She isn't able to stand straight which was a clear sign that she is not in sense and the guy that was holding her was an unknown to Aneesha. She was pissed at her behavior but she didn't say anything to Sriya. She snatched her from the man's hand and held her tight. "I'll take her from here." She said to the man and without listening to the man's reply she just marched off towards their apartment. She could smell a strong scent of alcohol on her. Aneesha had never once tried alcohol as she felt it is not a wise option to worsen your health with a bad-tasting drink. So the alcohol smell was forcing her to stop breathing. She even tried to wake her up but failed. So she carried her to Sriya's room and put her in bed. After being dumped on the bed Sriya got up and rushed to the bathroom. There she vomited all her stomach's content and lost consciousness. Aneesha supported her while she was vomiting. When she sensed that Sriya isn't in the condition to wash, she stripped her out of the cloth and wrapped the bath towel around her then make her stand in the shower. After some time when the water cooled her, she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was Aneesha standing in front of her. Then she scanned the surroundings to find out that they are standing in the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" She screamed at Aneesha and pushed her. This reaction of her made Aneesha baffled and she took this chance and got out of the bathroom and locked Aneesha inside it. Aneesha knocked at the door and called her name but she didn't listen. Only after some time, she heard her saying "I'll open the door but don't come out yet. I don't want to listen to anything now. I'm going to the lawn. We'll talk tomorrow." After that Aneesha heard the click of the bathroom door which indicates that the door is now unlocked followed by the sound of opening the main door. That confirmed that Sriya is not in the home. So she came out and went straight to her room. Her dress was completely wet. She changed into some dry clothes and lay down on her bed. She thought of various reason for Sriya's behavior but without Sriya's interpretation, she can only conclude that her recent changes that happened after telepathy was the reason for this. Without her knowledge, she fell asleep and when she woke up she found the most traumatic result that Sriya is gone.
