The beginning

I heard a faint sound. What is that sound ? Where is it coming from? What is this strange white light?

The sound of rustling leaves came again but this time I felt something touch my nose. I slowly opened my eyes and found myself staring into the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen, like a deep beautiful saphir color. But then with a jolt I sat after seeing who those eyes belong to. A wolf. A freaking wolf.

I looked around frantically, and found myself sitting on a huge rock under a tree whose leaves were orange and falling, right next to waterfall. And there was a freaking wolf looking at me with his neck tilted slightly as if trying to read my mind. He was the most gorgeous animal I ever saw. His coat was a beautiful white color that went so well with his eyes making him the most majestic creature ever. I kinda wanted to touch it.

Shaking myself out of his hypnotic gaze, I tried to focus on the problem which was, of course, me being in a forest only God knows where on this freaking planet to be exact. This was a strange place, it was as if, right out of fantasy books. Maybe this was fairytopia or Mer-land where mermaids lived.

I tried to get up but lost my balance due to weakness and almost fell into the water when suddenly the wolf grabbed me with his teeth and pulled me back onto the rock. And then I heard a voice say :

" Be careful, these rocks are slippery and you would not like falling in the water"

I looked around panicking as to who was talking but then the voice said:

" Its me"

I looked at the wolf, my eyes wide open. I opened my mouth to speak but then closed it as if I forgot how the words are formed or how a person speaks.

"Y - you can speak?" I stammered.

"No, You can listen to my voice when I talk but I dont talk the way humans talk, if that makes any sense." He replied.

Oh well, it didn't, nothing made sense. Why I was in a forest. Or should I ask how I got here ? Or how on earth am I hearing an animal talk? For the life of me I could not wrap my head around anything. I can't even remember where I was before waking up in a forest.

"I know you are scared but don't worry everything will soon unfold and make sense to you." said the wolf.

"I am Saphire by the way." He introduced himself.

" Umm, I am Zelda?" it sounded more like a questiom so I said again.

" I am Zelda, where are we ?" I asked.

"Where you belong." He replied.

What? Why would I belong in a forest? for sure this was a dream and I will soon wake up. I will wake up right? A thousand questions were roaming around in my head when Saphire said:

"We should leave now before Scar gets here. I don't want to ruin my beautiful coat by fighting that filthy animal."

I wanted to ask who Scar was but decided to get up and leave, not wanting to face the said Scar.

When I got up, I noticed my dress. It was a beautiful pastel purple dress with shiny pearls embedded in it, making a very beautiful design and it sparkled in sunlight as if a thousand stars were embossed on the dress. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

I noticed Saphire looking at me with a hint of mischief in his eyes.

"What?" I questioned.

"I am just wondering what color you are going to be?" He muttered almost like thinking to himself.

"Sorry?" I looked confused.

" Nothing, lets go, they must be waiting for us." Saphire said.

I did not want to trust an animal and leave but what choice did I have ? It was either him or Scar and I did not want to choose the later since I don't even know what creature scar is.

So I started following Saphire slowly. I tried not to slip and fall into the water but I was failing at it quite miserably. Saphire noticed my struggle and came near me.

" Come, you can sit on my back." said Saphire.

before I could say anything I heard a very very sacry noise and Saphire's eyes changed from soft to ice cold and he ordered:

"Hurry up Zelda, get on my back. Now!"

I did what he said and the next thing I know is I am on this massive creature and he is sprinting from rock to rock and someone or something is chasing us. I was too afraid to open my eyes, let alone see what the hell was after us.
