Helping Pilo

"Yes! I can heal her, but why are you here? This is the first time, that I had seen you around here, is the little guy your pet."

Ai nodded her head, though! She felt a little embarrassed for lying to him. Given she was not that puppy master but was thinking of becoming one this day. When she found her injured in the early morning.

"That is good! I was a little worried about the little thing, given my place is not allowed to have pets. So, it was really bothering me, what to do for this little guy."

Chen touched Pilo's little head, at which, Chen felt something licking his finger as he found little Pilo wriggling her tail as she looked at him with puppy eyes.

"How cute!" Ai looked at the little one and picked her up while patting her head. Chen looked at the way Ai was holding the dog and did not touch her injured finger.

He sighed thinking how true the rumors were given, Ai was as kind as he had heard from others. Which is the reason why? Her name is even known to those in 2nd year and 3rd of the Highschool.

Making her enter the top-ranking beauty of this year, to a certain spot.

"Okay! Let's go then, we have to be quick with this one. Given! I do not want to be late for dinner tonight." Chen followed Ai, who lead him to the school back gate as they climbed over the wall to the other side.

"You usually use this site to go home. Or else, why are you so familiar with this path? Given it is my first time walking from here." Chen asked Ai, who told him about how she came to know of this path. When she was bothered by those boys, that had been trying to court her during the first three months of the first year.

So, she was quite familiar with this path, and there was nothing to worry about it.

Since! It is just a straight road down the hilly range and forest, where they will walk out of the corner alley with Old luge's small shop.

"Ohh! This one is a great route, I might use it often given my home is near to this place." Ai looked at Chen's surprised expression.

Since this was the first time, she was having a casual conversation with a boy of her age without worrying about anything. Also! the fact that she was willing to share this route secret, she had also realized that Chen can be different from others.

Though! Inside her heart, there was a sliver of doubt about him. Given meeting her in such a particular manner, she hoped that he did not wait there for her on purpose.

'I am thinking way too much about it, he did not seem to be one of those kinds. I should be more open-minded, it is really very petty from my side.'

"Luge's shop has those band-aid kits, we can borrow from him. Although the old man is stubborn and very cold from time to time, he had been helping me a lot and is a very kind-hearted person from my point of view."

Chen noticed that Ai was a very talkative person. Though! He might be the one of few people, that knew about it.

"He-he." Chen grinned.

Ai turned to look at him, as she asked, "What are you grinning about? That is really weird when you start smiling out in between someone's talking."

Chen apologized! As he did not want to put out those words, given it might really stop Ai from talking out so comfortably around him.

"That is also fine, though we are here. Let's go and find old man luge, he must be sitting beside that outward counter." Ai and Chen reached the end of the alley and found the shop.

Where several old candies and other things were present, Chen who usually like sweets found many different snacks from the past. Though! He was broke and did not have money to buy them.

"Eh! You want to buy those snacks or something." Ai was a clever girl, she had a sharp perception of other things. Where Chen felt quite embarrassed about it, as he smiled and nodded at her.

"I want to buy them, though I am broke currently and cannot afford to buy them. But next month, I will come here to buy them for sure." He grinned. As they walked inside the shop interior, where old luge was sleeping on his chair.

"Wow! Legendary technique of sleeping on the chair." Chen looked at the old guy and murmured at which, little Pilo in his arm wuff out to wake up the old man.

He almost fall backward but was able to stabilize his chair to look at Pilo and Chen, who came along with Ai. The old man smiled at the little girl, as he thought how rare it was for Ai to bring back someone from that route.

"Oh! Bringing your boyfriend out from your favorite route huh? I never thought this day would come in this old man's life." Ai did not mind the old man's comment.

"He is someone from my school and we happened to meet each other a few minutes ago. So, please don't create a misunderstanding between us like this."

As Ai had told him about the old guy, he was carefree and freewill. But he did lend them the band-aid kit. Where Chen turns out to be an expert when it came to handling the injuries like those.

Started to work on the little Pilo injuries, and both of them shut their mouth. As they found, Chen's meticulous behavior in handling those injuries to be quite professional.

"That was really good Eh!!!" Suddenly Ai was stunned thinking, how none of them have exchanged their name to this point. While they had been chatting for all this time, without any problem which was quite weird.

"Hmm! what happened classmate Yan," Chen asked Ai. When he found Ai dazing off about something suddenly.

"Emm! I realized, that I did not even have asked your name." Ai looked at Chen "Eh!". At which, even Chen was dazed, thinking how it took so long for her to realize it.

"Sorry about it, my name is Chen Yu. I am from the class beside yours 1-B, I hope we can chat like this in the near future too." Chen smiled.

As he looked at her for the last time, while walking away from her and heading toward the main road. Ai also turned away! Where she remembers his name as a new friend that she made in high school.

It was at that moment.

Chen finally jogged toward his apartment, which he had rented at a cheap price. Although! The room of the apartment was not big, but the building was quite new and hygienic.

Also! With the kind landlady's blessing, Chen was able to get some food from time to time. Though! recently she has been making them for him, given she was able to tell.

That Chen had run out of money for a certain reason, so she have been calling him down to her home for dinner too.

"Huh! If not for her, how would I sustain for the last 4 days? Though! I am really feeling down, to be not able to make some dinner for myself."

Chen used herbs for cooking. As for how he acquired those herbs, it was something that his master has been sending without any address or courier though.

When Chen passed by the alley, he felt someone following him. Although it was small, he was sure that he definitely sense them. Still not wanting to stop, Chen decided to ignore them as long as they do not come out to provoke him.

"Hehe! Big brother, that seemed to be quite a weak little prey for tonight. But calling all of us to slay a chicken like that, is not your style at all." A small punk look at the bearded guy, who was also called Big Bear, in the underworld community for the last three years. Known for its ruthlessness, this guy was a total nut when it come to hunting down some target.

"Hehe! The requested person said that the more person I take the more we will be paid. With one condition applied to us. That we have to teach that guy a lesson at all cost, without letting any member outside group see us."

Big Bear spoke with a mouthful of cigars, as he let out the smoke from his mouth. He smiled and signal everyone to disperse and circle him around, the abandoned factory alley. Which will be the last place, that kid would visit in this life.

'They are diverging and circling me around, not knowing the fact that they are about to burn to a cinder.' Chen held a vicious smile on his face when he saw a notification on his system.

When a quest tab, which had been grayed out finally lit out and several options appeared on it.

"Oh, I have a quest too, that is a good thing. Given now I have a stronger reason to bring their group to its collapse."

Chen smiled. But somewhere inside his mind, he was starting to brew a plan that would destroy the group and destroy the minds of those within the group. After all, even if Chen were to kill the leader.

Those who survive and run out of the venue, could easily join another group or make their own group.

With that, there is no way Chen would be able to complete his quest. So, what Chen need at this moment was a plan which could completely destroy their mentality.

"I know that all of you are here! Why not come out now?" Chen who had entered the factory willingly sat in the middle of it. And with his shout, every member of the Bear group started to come out from all the sides of the factory smiling at Chen with weird grins on their faces.

In the middle of the group, the tallest and the person with the most authority walked out over to the middle of the factory, sitting in front of Chen. He reveals a silent grin while saying.

"You have guts kid, that is something I have to give to you. After all, even at this moment, your eyes looked clear and sharp with no fear within them."

He accurately grasps Chen's mental state, due to his experience in fighting during his stay in the underworld. But he was not experienced enough, to see the confidence radiating in Chen's eyes.

"So, you are here to kill me right? Then why not make our match more interesting?" The first sentence from Chen's made the entire factory drop into the still silence...

Where Chen's plan started to take its first breath.
