Dimensional Space

Fanny chased after the victory he glimpsed. With the enhancement of 'Ars Magna', his speed and firepower were fully unleashed. He rushed to Hulk's side in the blink of an eye, landing his fist that was as heavy as a sandbag on Hulk's head.

Hulk should've been furious by now, increasing his strength and defense to launch a counterattack.

Unfortunately, under the influence of 'Ars Magna', Hulk could not shake the happiness in his heart. He couldn't tap into his rage. Moreover, Fanny even summoned 'Sumire Karaage Rolls' to distract him.

There was no price Fanny wouldn't pay for victory.

Finally, just before the enhancement of 'Ars Magna' ended, the innocent and ignorant Hulk was defeated by the insidious and cunning Fanny. He was knocked unconscious.

Fanny used all his means and finally won his first victory with great difficulty. He felt thrilled.

This was Hulk. Although he was in his weakest state, he was still one of the strongest creatures on Earth. Today, that giant was defeated by him.

"How is it? Who is weak, and who is strong?!" Fanny tried his best to suppress his smug smile while watching over Hulk, who woke up with a bloody nose and swollen face.

Hulk did not know that Fanny had secretly done something to him. He felt wronged by his own failure, but at the same time, his heart was filled with anger.

He smashed the ground angrily and replied, "Hulk, body, bad, today."

"Regardless of your body, who won the battle?" Fanny tilted his head, suppressing his guilt. He recalled what Hulk had said earlier about him being unworthy of winning. Fanny wasn't the type to let a grudge go.

"Mage, won!" Hulk reluctantly admitted his defeat. But he immediately stood up, clenching his fist. "Again, fight! Hulk, normal, now!"

The effect of 'Ars Magna' had disappeared, and Hulk's heart was now filled with vengeance. Now would be a time when the giant's strength was at its apex. Fanny wouldn't dare to challenge Hulk right now.

When Hulk goes into a frenzy, there's no way to stop him other than his total victory.

"Alright, let's forget about that!" Fanny pretended to be calm and waved his hand.

"Again, Hulk, must win!" Hulk was still reluctant, insisting on fighting again. He must have wanted to get back at Fanny.

"Next time, next time!"

And Fanny was unwilling to fight no matter what. He had consumed a lot of energy in that previous fight. If the battle started again, the question wouldn't be about his victory but his survival.

In the end, Fanny used all kinds of food and toys as well as a promise to fight again three days later to appease Hulk from immediately fighting again.

Hulk stayed depressed even back in the villa. He even ignored the TV show and his new toys. Fanny felt a little guilty when he saw this. This was definitely not the right path.

However, seeing the experience points that he had gained made him abandon all his guilt; he even thought about replicating these results three days later.

Usually, fighting against Hulk would provide him with the equivalent of a week of Kamar-Taj training. But the victory this time tripled that result.

In other words, every time he won against Hulk, it was equivalent to winning twenty Mordo.

This kind of bounty was enough for Fanny to temporarily throw his integrity away. He planned to keep doing this until he could extract the sixth skill.

And despite the despicable nature of his tactics, it was all achieved with his own abilities. There was nothing to be ashamed of with that.

...

Kamar-Taj.

Fighting Mordo felt different after Fanny faced Hulk. Perhaps it was probably the smug and confident feeling that one would feel when returning to fight high-level mobs after defeating the boss monster.

Mordo accurately sensed the strange emotion behind Fanny's eyes, though he didn't know what the feeling was. He asked doubtfully, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Nothing!" Fanny shook his head. No matter what, Mordo was still quite strong. He sometimes pondered if Mordo's experience was abnormally low or perhaps Hulk's experience was a little too high.

After seriously thinking about it, he felt that it was still a problem of strength.

Mordo was a senior mage of Kamar-Taj. He had very precise control of his strength. He always pulled punches when fighting Fanny because his objective was to guide his junior disciple. He never used any high-level spells, either.

Hulk was different. He wouldn't hold back no matter who he was fighting. If he could exert ten points of strength, he would exert all ten. Every time he fought, he would use all of his strength to fight Fanny to the death.

That was probably why winning against Hulk gave Fanny twenty Mordo of experience points, despite all the debuff he had applied.

Fanny equipped 'Demon Armor Incursio' and began his daily sparring with Mordo.

The 'physical resistance' that 'Demon Armor Incursio' had evolved significantly increased Fanny's strength. He could even face most of Mordo's attacks head-on. His combat style unwittingly became similar to the green giant.

"You are a mage, Fanny. You have to learn how to use spells!" Mordo protested while dodging Fanny's attacks.

"Oh, that's right." Fanny came back to his senses and focused his mind. "!"

A crimson magic array appeared, and a pillar of fire descended from the sky. Fortunately, Mordo used the Vaulting Boots of Valtorr to evade the 'Explosion Magic.'

"I mean normal spells!" Mordo shouted again. Although the 'Explosion Magic' could be considered a spell, it wasn't part of the mystic arts that Kamar-Taj disciples should be mastering. Shouldn't they be training the proper sect knowledge?!

"Tsk!" Fanny clicked his tongue, holding himself from bullying Mordo. He then summoned the Ring of Raggadorr that he hadn't used for a while, the magic feeling unfamiliar in his hands. He then obediently fought Mordo in Kamar-Taj style.

Fanny and Mordo talked to each other after the battle ended, gaining Fanny another unit of experience.

"How is Kaecilius?" Fanny asked casually. This was the only unstable factor in Kamar-Taj, but because of Ancient One, he could not do anything out of line.

"He has recovered quite well. You should interact more with him, Fanny. He is a good man," Mordo quickly replied. He had always wanted to improve the relationship between Kaecilius and Fanny.

"Sigh, let's talk about it when there's a chance!"

Fanny sighed. Sometimes, he really wanted to have a good chat with Ancient One. How could she hold herself from changing the future that she knew?

Was it because it would end in a good way?!

Fanny did not seem to realize that his understanding of the future was only limited to the plot he knew from his previous life. Moreover, his intervention had turned his knowledge less and less useful other than as a reference.

"Alright, let's not talk about him anymore. I felt that I was on the cusp of understanding some things about dimensions. Let's review that."

Fanny collected his thoughts and began asking Mordo about the portal spell formula. The strange portal to the dark place that he opened made him feel that he had finally made some progress toward the Mirror Dimension.

His main problem currently lies in understanding dimensional spaces.
