Come Out, Blue-Eyes White Dragon

As usual, the skill that he extracted filled him with shock.

Fanny already knew that the skills extracted by the system wouldn't necessarily follow the same release method from their source anime.

For example, his 'Ars Magna' should have required an entire choir to continuously chant its spell, but he could activate the effect directly.

Another example would be the ability to summon 'Sumire Karaage Rolls' out of thin air, besides making it manually. The anime it came from didn't have such blatantly supernatural power.

But the sixth skill surprised Fanny nonetheless.

"Card: Blue-Eyes White Dragon"

Source: "Yu-Gi-Oh!"

Description: "A legendary dragon known for its high attack power! It can crush all enemies with its immeasurable destructive power!"

Fanny didn't expect to extract another dragon-attribute summon after the Imperial Arms 'Demon Armor Incursio.'

Fanny was a little nervous to test this new skill. He was pretty familiar with the dragon's name in his past life, but he didn't know what the card would do.

However, in general, Fanny still believed in the system. None of the five skills he had drawn so far were weak, so 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' should also be strong.

Fanny decided to strike while the iron was hot and activated 'Demon Armor Incursio' before opening a portal to a remote snowy mountain.

Fanny flew up in the air and activated his sixth skill. A palm-sized card manifested in front of him.

He caught the card and looked at it. The picture on the front side of the card was unmistakably 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon.'

Its body was covered with silver scales, and a ball of brilliant energy emanated from its fanged mouth. Its clawed hands grasped menacingly, and its spread wing gleamed like bladed edges.

The picture was almost lifelike.

But what caught Fanny's attention wasn't the 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon's' powerful and fierce appearance; rather, it was the inexplicably small size of the dragon.

It wasn't that the picture was small, but the depicted Blue-Eyes White Dragon itself looked like a young dragon.

Fanny further inspected the card and discovered another anomaly. The card only had one star. Fanny wasn't very familiar with the source anime, but he knew for sure that the Blue-Eyes White Dragon was not a one-star card.

Other than the title, star, and picture, the card was empty. There wasn't any attack or defense power value, no skills or effects, and not even a lore introduction. It was just an exceptionally beautiful picture.

Fanny hesitated while holding the card. He then decided to continue testing the skill.

Recalling how the card was used in the original system, Fanny held the card between his index and middle finger. He shouted while throwing the card, "My turn; come out, Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

The card began to shine as it flew through the air, and a roar echoed.

The card dissolved into particles of light, which then gathered to form Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

This Blue-Eyes White dragon was 'only' the size of a car, but Fanny fell in love at first sight for it.

So handsome!

Fanny stared at the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in front of him, flapping its wings to keep its altitude. He didn't know its specific strength, but from appearance alone, this extraction was a jackpot.

"Can you speak?" Fanny asked as he flew closer to the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

"Roar!" The dragon roared in response.

"Land!" Fanny continued to test.

The dragon obediently flapped its wings and landed on the ground.

Fanny carefully examined the Blue-Eyes White Dragon closer. He couldn't help but touch the silver-white scales. It was as cold as steel.

"Roll on the ground!" Fanny barked another order after taking a few steps back, curious if the dragon would follow the command.

The Blue-Eyes White Dragon didn't seem to mind the order and rolled on the snow obediently. Its pose looked a little funny.

Fanny tested it with more and more complex commands, starting from turning left and right, various gestures, delayed commands, and so on. Little by little, he tried to deduce the intelligence of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

Fanny discovered after an extensive test that the Blue-Eyes White Dragon didn't seem to have independent thought, behaving more like a sophisticated doll. It could accept orders, but it could not understand them.

Fanny did not feel disappointed; he had already accepted from the size and appearance that it would be different from the one he knew from the anime.

Besides, Fanny knew ever since summoning it that it could evolve.

The Blue-Eyes White Dragon currently only has one star on its card. He didn't know how many stars would be the upper limit, but he knew that the Blue-Eyes White Dragon would be able to evolve more stars.

As for how to evolve it...

Fanny looked at the dragon and summoned a few 'Sumire Karaage Rolls,' throwing it directly to its mouth. The Blue-Eyes White Dragon swallowed without chewing, packaging and all.

Evolution was driven by eating. Items and artifacts of power or just high-calorie food: anything the dragon could digest would foster its evolution.

When he learned of this evolution path, the first thing in Fanny's mind was that he would finally have a place for the infinite 'Sumire Karaage Rolls' he practiced with.

The next thought was to steal the Tesseract from Nick Fury so he could feed it to the dragon.

Although he quickly realized that the current state of Blue-Eyes White Dragon might not be able to digest the energy of the Tesseract, which originated directly from the Space Stone.

But the curiosity persisted.

As the name suggested, the power contained within each Infinity Stone was terrifying. Fanny wouldn't insist on digesting the entire stone; just a portion of the energy should be enough to advance the evolution by leaps and bounds.

It was already October. Fanny had no idea how far Nick Fury had progressed with the research on cosmic energy; or if the bald man had started it at all.

According to his memory, Loki should try to open the gate to space in the next year. Fanny only had time until then; because Asgard would take the Tesseract away after that.

To be honest, out of the six Infinity Stones, Fanny was most interested in the Reality Stone due to its possible compatibility with 'Ars Magna'—Fanny was also interested in obtaining the other Infinity Stones, but they were way down in his priority list.

The Soul Stone specifically required a sacrifice to obtain. He didn't even think about obtaining it; it would only leave a bad taste in his mouth.

And forget about getting the Time Stone. He probably wouldn't even get a glimpse of it unless he could become the Sorcerer Supreme. He wouldn't attack his own organization.

The Mind Stone should already be in Thanos' hands right now. If he had a chance to snatch it, he would keep it, even if he had no use for it.

As for the Power Stone, Fanny felt that if he reached the level that he could wield an Infinity Stone normally, the Power Stone probably wouldn't be that useful anymore.

He didn't have much interest in the Space Stone initially. Kamar-Taj's teleportation portal was already very convenient, so there was no need to touch something that belonged to Asgard.

But the extraction of Blue-Eyes White Dragon changed his mind.
