Testing my patience

He couldn't summon the courage to question one of the most dangerous Lords.

Everyone walked in egg shells around him since the departure of his sister.

"Do the people need to vacate the area?" The Baron asks.

Lord Leonard sighed,The baron didn't know when to leave.

A thorn to him.

With his shirt answers he should have stupidly left. But no,he didn't..... testing the waters,he was playing with fire and he was surely going to get burnt.

Glaring at him for a moment he decided to show him how careless. of the situation he was.

"a quien le importa si mueren?" He smirked.

(Meaning: Who cares if they die?")

Nodding curtly he turned and left.

He didn't seem faxed by the decorations in the palay nor impressed by the food and snacks that has been served to welcome him,he just wanted to know why he had been invited to the bitch's palace.

She never summoned him or any of the Lords for the consequences of calling for one of the most deadly demons in the world and not being able to please them.

Queen Etta was going to suffer by his hand today after all his demon was very much hungry for blood he doubted she had any offer to please him.

He was wrong.

"Queen Etta,you do know I do not waste my time" He says distastefully

"I Know that Lord Benjamin" She smiles.

He was quite taken aback to see her smile but oh,she was so stupid as before to smile just before her death.

"Then why I'm I here Etta? am afraid neither me nor my demon is pleased to be here?

He says lowly his demon coming to the surface briefly.

Lord Benjamin needed to control it now and fast it suddenly craved blood and something else he did not understand.

Danger was already lurking behind the curtains but Queen Etta ignored it

"You might have forgotten your wife is here" She says..

His eyes furrowed in confusion for a while as he took in her words. This woman was up to no good but who was he to stop her?

he was just going to play along.

"Are you testing my patience?" He asks smiling evily.

"Am I? No my Lord my daughter,Lady Viola is betrothed to you,I see you have forgotten, she has since you were a hundred years old". Queen Etta says.
