Chapter 21

The air was still around us as I held onto her wrist with my hand, the hand that sought to strike Stoner with the knife in it.

"Enough," I repeated lowly, the chilling breeze of magic beginning to trail from the bottom of my spine.

Ada, on the other hand, had a questioning yet violent expression on her face. She lifted her other hand that was formerly holding onto Stoner whom she had dropped, it was folded into a fist, risen against me.

"Ada, my love, what did I say about random acts of violence?" A voice echoed through the hall-like room.

He had a kind of…. Perhaps aristocracy that could leave one bewildered. With the way his silver hair had brown strands in them that dirtied them. His dirty silver hair was unevenly short to his cheekbones, styled purposely as an uneven fringe.

This had porcelain vibrant skin that made him glow in the tight black pants he wore, with a loose grey V neck top and a black leather jacket to top it.
