Chapter 84

Third person point of view

Caspian shot up with beads of sweat rolling down from his red lock to the purse line in between his pert lips.

Red eyes shining bright in the darkness of the tacky room. He opened his mouth to suck in a breath, and tried his best to stop the trembling of his hand.

The dreams were as before, death, violence, death. It was nothing he could not handle. After all he made his bed so he had to lay on it. It was normal to have these horrific dreams considering the horrors he had done and seen.

Caspian's eyes darted around, not finding anyone in the room. He calmed himself, easing himself from his dreams back to reality. Yes, a reality where he didn't feel an atom of regret for the things he had done.

Caspian shook his head and took back control of his bed with another breath intake, dissipating the feeling of the "vulnerability" his dreams always had.
