Dream

Henry Davis woke up to the sound of screaming. He thought something was up and walked outside to find his parents pointing a shotgun at a grizzly bear. The grizzly bear took this as an offense and slapped Henry's mom straight in the gut. Henry's mom howled in pain as his father tried to shoot it. The bear's hide was like steel and repelled the bullet instantly. "Oh Shi-" Henry's dad yelled as the bear scratched him in the leg. Henry stood there in fear as he watched his parents' struggle against the bear.

"STOP IT!!!!!" he screamed as he sprinted at the bear. A truly reckless move out of stupidity- not bravery. "Stop!" his mom cried, but it was too late. Henry had already jumped into the air and was about to punch it when a blue barrier crashed into him. The bear stood up on its hind legs and smirked a very human grin. "You cannot interfere young child." it said in a booming voice. It was as if the entire forest was speaking. "You parents are sinful and deserve to die.... This is god's punishment for your race. Those with a rotten heart do not deserve life.... And those who have sinned countless times, shall suffer like you parents. God has sent beings like me to punish the sinful ones. You young child, your time of Destiny has not yet come..."

Henry shivered, and at the time he knew his parents were dead.
