Kids

Kylin ignored Kane's last words and took a deep breath.

He squinted and turned to him.

"Where are our kids?"

Kane put his glass down on the table and scrunched his face. "Ha! Who knows? They're probably trying to kill each other again."

Kylin furrowed his brow. "Leroy and Owen are fighting again?"

Kane dramatically sighed and leaned back. "Dude, this isn't a fight. This is literally a war! The last time I saw them, Owen was mumbling something and raising his hand. I swear, he was about to bring the sky down on us in one minute. But then what happened? Leroy shouted, 'You can't fly in front of me!' and slammed Owen to the ground with gravity."

Kylin buried his face in his hands. "Damn it, Kane..."

Kane laughed. "Wait, wait! I haven't told you the best part yet. While Owen was struggling on the ground, he shouted, 'I'm not fighting you on the ground!' and manipulated the concept of earth to bury Leroy underground! Ah, man, you should've been there! You should've heard Leroy's scream! He was shouting, 'You stupid lizard, I'll kill you!'"

Kylin took a deep breath and stared at Kane. "So, what are they doing now?"

Kane shrugged. "Who knows? They're probably planning the next disaster. Honestly, Kylin, sometimes I think we didn't raise children but unleashed primal forces."

Kylin shook his head. "And you never stop them."

Kane raised his hands with false innocence. "Ah, dude, I tried! But then Leroy turned to me and said, 'I don't want to fight you because I don't want my brain to get fucked.' Owen just sighed and gave me this uninterested look and said, 'Why are you bothering with us when you have so much energy?'"

Kylin rolled his eyes. "I need to deal with them."

Kane grinned. "I'm glad to hear you say that. Because the last time I left them, Owen was probably calling down lightning, and Leroy was shouting, 'Can you hit me? Go ahead, try!'"

Kylin quickly got to his feet. "Great. A disaster is coming."

Kane happily took a sip of his drink. "Ah, Kylin. This is why you're our leader. Because I could never tolerate this madness."

Kylin lit up his extinguished cigarette again and took a drag. He stared at Kane intently. "So, where are our kids?"

Kane let out a deep sigh. "If you're asking where I last saw them... they teleported to another continent."

Kylin's face suddenly darkened. "What did you say?"

Kane shrugged. "Don't blame me, they did it themselves. While beating each other up, they accidentally opened a dimensional gate and…" He made a vague gesture in the air. "Now they're causing an amazing war on another continent."

Kylin squinted and then placed a firm hand on Kane's shoulder. "Take us there."

Kane rolled his eyes but didn't argue. "Alright, alright, calm down…" He snapped his fingers, and in an instant, they teleported to another continent.

On the Other Continent...

The air was vibrating. Lava was shooting up from the ground, and storms were raging in the sky. Large mountains had crumbled, and massive trees were uprooted. In the very center were Owen and Leroy. Both were panting, their clothes torn and ragged, staring at each other.

Leroy's body was covered in blood, but there was a mad grin on his face. "Just like that, Lizard! The longer the fight lasts, the more fun it gets!"

Owen rolled his eyes, but a slight grin betrayed the excitement he was hiding. "You're ruining yourself every time, stupid lion."

Leroy laughed loudly. "But I'm having fun!"

Owen raised his hand, and a massive energy wave started to gather around him. Air, water, fire, and lightning combined to create an immense power. "This time, you'll really be taken down."

Leroy's eyes lit up. "Oh yeah? Let's see if you can withstand my new gravity attack!"

Just as they were about to unleash their biggest attacks…

BOOM!

Suddenly, the sky darkened, and two figures appeared in the light.

Kylin and Kane!

Kylin's eyes widened slightly when he saw the destruction of the fight, but his face immediately hardened.

Even Kane whistled when he saw the scene. "Wow, they really wrecked this place."

Just as Owen and Leroy were about to unleash their attacks, Kylin suddenly moved!

With a single motion of his hand, he cut through the energy surrounding them. Instantly, Owen's entire elemental attack dissipated, and Leroy's gravity power crumbled. Both of them froze in shock.

Then their eyes focused on the new arrivals.

Kylin.

For a moment, joy flickered in their eyes. After a long time, their older brother had finally arrived!

But then, slowly, the reality of what they had done hit them.

The mischief they had caused.

Their eyes widened, and their faces tensed.

And finally…

Fear.

Because their older brothers had caught them just as they were pulling off their biggest mischief!

Kylin looked at Owen and Leroy. His eyes first scanned how they looked in the middle of the battle, then he took a deep breath.

"Look at this, Kane," he said, shaking his head slightly. "Look at what they've done to themselves. Owen is still showing off his muscles with those tattoos, while Leroy can't even find something to wear."

His eyes first moved to Leroy.

Leroy's messy yellow hair, which reached his waist, was scattered by the effects of the battle, sticking to his skin with sweat and blood. The lion ears on his head twitched, as if ready to roar. His physique was already muscular, but this time his body was covered with even more wounds and scratches. His skin, due to the excessive torn muscle structure, was tougher and more flexible in certain areas.

But most importantly… he was still shirtless.

"Seriously, Leroy, are you still insisting on not wearing anything?" Kylin said.

Leroy slightly raised his head and gave a cheeky smile. "I'm getting some air, bro. Also, my clothes get torn in the fight anyway."

Kylin rolled his eyes, then turned his gaze to Owen.

His massive body, over two meters tall, his blue hair, and the cold expression in his eyes made him as imposing as ever. But this time, the marks of battle were on him. His entire body was covered with tattoos and sigils. Normally, Owen appeared slightly indifferent, but now he stood there covered in blood, yet still carrying an unconcerned attitude.

"It's certain you're a dragon, Owen," Kylin murmured. "Each of those tattoos carved into your muscular body probably comes from a concept. But you're still famous for your laziness, aren't you?"

Owen shrugged slightly. "You have to be a little lazy even when fighting, bro."

Kane interrupted, chuckling. "Look at them, Kylin. They've fought like two street punks."

Kylin took a deep breath and turned his eyes back to Owen and Leroy.

"If you've had enough fun," he said in a serious tone, "now explain to me why you're fighting like you're trying to kill each other."

The two of them lowered their heads slightly. First Owen, then Leroy, avoided eye contact.

Leroy scratched his eyebrow. "Uhh... well…"

Owen coughed lightly. "This might be a bit hard to explain."

"What's hard," Kylin interjected, "is that you don't realize you can't escape from me."

Both of their eyes widened slightly.

Because the expression on Kylin's face was one of an older brother ready to punish them.

Owen immediately pointed at Leroy with his hand. "This maniac started it!" he said in an accusatory tone. "I was just standing there normally, and then suddenly he attacked me!"

Leroy furrowed his brows and turned to Owen, gritting his teeth. "Stop talking nonsense! You called me 'someone who can't do anything but smash people to the ground with gravity!' That was an open challenge!"

Owen rolled his eyes. "I was just stating the truth."

Leroy's lion ears stood up angrily, his claws slightly extended. "Look, I'll slam you back to the ground right here!"

Owen quickly crossed his arms and took a step back. "Do you think you can? I'm not sure. Because before I bury you in the ground, I want to try a new concept."

Leroy squinted his eyes. "A lazy guy like you? Gonna try a new concept? Yeah, right!"

Meanwhile, Kane was standing with his arms crossed, watching them with a barely contained laugh. "Oh my God," he said in a slightly mocking tone. "These two really never change, huh, Kylin? They're blaming each other like little kids."

Kylin took a deep breath, his eyes first moving to Owen, then to Leroy.

"You really…" he started. His eyes narrowed slightly, and an involuntary smile appeared at the corner of his lips. "You're just like always."

Owen and Leroy quickly turned their heads to Kylin.

"Is this a good thing or a bad thing?" Leroy asked cautiously.

Owen leaned in a little and whispered, "I don't think this... is good."

Kylin tilted his head slightly and fixed his gaze on both of them. "You don't need to think too hard to understand this," he said in a calm yet dangerous tone.

The slight smile on Owen and Leroy's faces quickly faded.

Kane, on the other hand, no longer bothered to hide his laugh. "This is going to be so much fun," he muttered to himself, chuckling.

Owen and Leroy froze for a few seconds at Kylin's words. Then, they quickly exchanged a glance.

"Uh… are you serious, bro?" Owen asked, with a slightly worried expression.

Leroy furrowed his brows. "Yeah, yeah, you're not joking, right? Because usually, things like this end badly."

Kylin crossed his arms and tilted his head slightly, carefully observing both of them. "Come on, are you afraid to attack me? You've grown, you claim to have developed. I want to see your strength."

Owen and Leroy exchanged glances again. Owen puckered his lips. "Alright, but... we want your assurance that you won't use your concepts."

Leroy quickly nodded. "Yeah, yeah! Fighting with you is one thing, but once the concept of infinity comes into play, it turns from 'do we have a chance?' to 'are we going to die?'"

Kylin smiled faintly, then shook his head in a negative way. "I promise, I won't use concepts. I just want to test your physical strength."

Kane, watching this scene, could barely hold back his laughter. "Look at you two, acting like you can actually trust Kylin's words. Hahaha!"

Owen turned to him angrily. "Are you the one making comments, Kane?! You should say something about this!"

Leroy grumbled and added, "Yeah, yeah, maybe you should fight Kylin first!"

Kylin took a deep breath and shook his head. "You're always like this..." But there was a glint of amusement in his eyes. An involuntary smile formed on his face.

Leroy and Owen, abandoning their hesitation in an instant, launched their attack with all their strength.

Leroy's body tensed up like a wild lion, his muscles expanded, and his fur bristled. The concept of gravity kicked in, and surrounding rocks instantly crashed to the ground. "You can't fly in front of me, Kylin!" he roared as intense pressure spread through the area.

Owen, on the other hand, blazed with all the elements—his air crackled, water waves surrounded him, lightning coursed through his muscles, the ground beneath his feet cracked, and fire heated his breath. The tattoos on his skin mystically glowed.

"We won't give you a moment's chance, bro!" he shouted.

At the same time, Leroy lunged forward, pouncing on Kylin like a lion, his punch descending with a power that tore through the air. Owen, from behind, unleashed supporting spells, sending a wind wave wrapped in fire, followed by a lightning-charged water jet.

When Kane saw this moment, he slowly pulled back, found a comfortable position, and poured wine into his glass. He raised his glass while smiling faintly.

"Alright, let's see if you two little stronglings can take down the boss," he said in a mocking tone.

Then he took a sip and continued, "Don't hold back, or I'll make sure to knock you out without mercy."

Leroy and Owen briefly shot a furious look at Kane, but their eyes never fully left Kylin.

Kylin's stance remained unchanged. His hands were casually in his pockets, and he slightly leaned to the side. But... he didn't show the slightest concern for the approaching attacks.

Then, he moved.

Leroy's heavy punch, which seemed about to land on him, was avoided by Kylin with a barely perceptible tilt of his head.

At the same time, Owen's storm-charged assault was heading straight for him, but before it could make contact, Kylin had almost vanished.

When he reappeared, he was right behind Leroy.

Owen and Leroy's eyes widened.

"It can't be..."

Was Kylin really this fast, without using any concepts?

But they were too experienced to hesitate. Leroy let out a wild roar and lunged forward with all his might. Owen intensified his spells even further.

However... Kylin didn't seem to be struggling in the slightest.

There was a faint gleam in his eyes. The Perfect Human Power... It was his purest racial form.

For the first time, Owen and Leroy truly felt the difference between themselves and "their elder brother."
