LONELY

"Kiara! Did you see him? The man is like a prince from a fairy tale. His face is very handsome. God created such a perfect creature. Oh my God, who is he? If only he wanted to be my lover, I would give my body and soul for him," chirped Silvi with sparkling eyes looking at the man. "Oh my God, Kiara. Look!! That guy got in the latest sports car, I'm sure he must be a rich man."

"Don't overdo it, Silvi. In this world, there are many handsome and rich men. Let's go home! Mother at home must be waiting for us, come on!!" Kiara pulled her best friend's hand who was smiling to herself imagining the man earlier.

The highway is very busy in the afternoon. People who have been working all day can't wait to go home and rest their tired bodies.

"You don't have to go in and out of the shop just want to see the latest clothes," Kiara grumbled with a frown on her face. "We came home too late, sorry Mom is home alone. It's going to rain soon. Look at the sky it's already cloudy!" Kiara grumbled.

"Yes, yes I was wrong. Sorry Kiara," said Silvi feeling guilty. "But did you like it or not, we went for a walk?"

"What do you like?! The one with my feet hurts!" Kiara replied with a frown on her face.

"Just so angry. Virgin children often angry can grow old quickly!" Silvi teased Kiara by playing her eyebrows up and down.

"No way! I'm more beautiful than an angel!" Kiara replied with a smile praising herself.

"How beautiful?!" Silvi said turning to Kiara who was walking beside her. "You are indeed beautiful, but if you look at it from the end of Monas," said Silvi, ending with a loud laugh.

"Watch out for you! Dare to me?!" Kiara's hand suddenly wanted to pinch Silvi's waist.

Seeing Kiara's hand that was about to pinch her waist, Silvi immediately ran away but still with a laugh that didn't stop.

"Come here, don't run!!" Kiara shouted who was trying to chase her best friend while carrying a plastic shopping bag.

They ran after each other, ignoring the people around them. A youth full of fun and carefree laughter. Their innocent world without any significant problems.

...

Elsewhere in the enormous mansion, the sound of footsteps echoed into the mansion.

"Master Leo, are you home yet?" asked one of the servants who had just seen the arrival of his master.

"Bring coffee to the room," he ordered without answering the waiter's question.

"Yes sir," replied the waiter politely.

"Tell Bowo to take him to the room," he said again and then went to his room.

The waiter immediately went to the kitchen to make coffee according to his master's taste.

"Coffee for whom, Ratih?" asked the old man who was already standing next to her.

"Mr. Bowo is just surprising! Suddenly he's here, he doesn't sound like a ghost." Ratih grumbled, rubbing her chest in shock.

"What did you say? Old people are said to be ghosts!!" Bowo pushed Ratih's head and looked at the coffee being brewed. "Coffee for whom?"

"Master Leo."

"Master Leo is home yet?" asked Bowo.

"Yes, Mr. Bowo. Here's the proof! Master asked me to make coffee," Ratih pointed at the coffee cup. "And Tuan asked Mr. Bowo to deliver the coffee to his room."

After hearing Ratih's explanation, Bowo immediately brought ready coffee on a tray.

"Eh, Mr. Bowo wait."

"Especially?" Bowo asked looking at Ratih.

"Mr. Leo looks very tired. I see his face is gloomy like he's in a lot of trouble."

"Of course, Mr. tired, Ratih. He is the CEO who leads a big company. Unlike you, every day she works talking about people with other servants!!"

"Ugh, Mr. Bowo sucks!" Reply Ratih annoyed.

Mr. Bowo smiled mockingly and went straight to his master's room which was on the top floor.

"Master, the coffee!" Bowo exclaimed from outside the door.

"Just come in, it's unlocked!" Leo replied from within.

Slowly the door opened. Pak Bowo came in with a tray of coffee ordered by his master and placed it on the table.

"Bowo."

"Yes Mr. Leo," replied Bowo politely.

"Sit down!" Leo commanded seeing his servant stand up. "Join me for a little chat."

"Yes sir." Bowo sat in front of his master.

Leo was silent, his eyes staring at the window that looked like it was starting to rain. The smelly air and grass caught in the rain came in through the wide-open window.

"Hm, hm," Bowo cleared his throat, breaking the silence between them because his master was silent.

"How long have you worked here?" Leo asked opening the conversation.

"Since you are still in Mrs. Laras' womb. What's wrong sir? Why ask like that?" Bowo asked curiously.

Leo was silent, his gaze still on the window. It was seen outside the rain was getting heavier with lightning flashing each other.

"I miss my parents. It feels like only yesterday they were with me. The house is so lonely without them. I miss them so much," Leo whispered barely audibly.

Even though his Master's voice was barely audible, Bowo could hear him. There was a trace of sadness in his Master's eyes, a deep longing.

"Back then, I was very young when the accident that took my parents happened," Leo sighed. "I have no one else in the world. My parents are both only children. I didn't feel my youth like other children."

"Patience, sir. Every human being has their own story," said Bowo, feeling his Master's sad feelings.

"I live alone. The woman I once loved also betrayed me. My life is very lonely without color, everything is dark." Leo's face looked very gloomy.

"That woman is not the best for Master. All she wants is money, be patient. One day, this house will be crowded with the voices of Master's children," said Bowo comforting Leo.
