Caine was disappointed beyond words after knowing Stacey snuck away. He left the Roth Villa angry. He even threatened to call the marriage off if Stacey doesn't come home. Hearing that Gwendolyn and Victoria begged him to stay but he didn't turn around.
"It's all that useless son in laws fault, I bet she has gone to find him." Victoria said, helplessly clenching on her dress. "If Caine and Stacy don't get married our whole family will be ruined." Victoria said looking at her mother in law.
"Don't you think I know that!" Gwendolyn shouted angrily, making Victoria step back in fear.
Rolling her eyes irritatedly, Gwendolyn turned to Harold. "We need to find that good for nothing son in law, we need to get him out of Stacey's life permanently.... you know what to do!" Gwendolyn said.
Nodding his head lightly, Harold took out his cellphone and dialed a number. "Hello, Rick.."
"I don't have time to waste right now, so I'll get straight to business. I want you to take care of someone for me."
"Yeah that's right, I want you to send him to the other side."
Meanwhile, Courtney sneaked Stacey out of the Villa and took her shopping so Stacey can get her mind off what had been going on in her life.
"I still can't believe you made me sneak out of the Villa?" Stacey said with a slight smile. Appreciating what her friend did.
"Well would you rather stay inside your bedroom, hugging Arthur's sheets the whole day?" Courtney asked teasingly. She couldn't imagine what her friend was going through.
Raising a brow, Stacey looked at Courtney. "What? Who told you, I hug his clothes?" Stacey replied, feeling a bit embarrassed cause that's what she does.
"So it's true?" Courtney asked teasingly, monitoring Stacey's reaction.
Rolling her eyes irritatedly Stacey replied; "it's not true."
"Right....Anyways have you talked to him?" Courtney asked, looking up ahead.
"No I haven't, my calls don't get through, I think he blocked my number." Stacey replied in a sad voice.
Hearing that Courtney's heart skipped a beat as she felt worried," You calls don't get through? What if your Grandma did something to him?" Courtney asked, raising a brow.
Stacey's facial expression didn't change after hearing that, there was no sign of being worried, "Don't worry I'm paying Damien thousands of dollars to tell me what the whole family is planning…. And they haven't done anything yet." Stacey replied confidently, but inside she was not so confident about that. What if Damien just lies to her so she can pay him?
"Right…" Courtney replied hesitantly, knowing damn well that they can't trust Damien, that guy will do anything for money. "Can you trust Damien?" Courtney finally asked.
"Yes I trust him for the sake of our relationship, and all the secrets I keep about him, he would never lie to me about something like that….I think?" Stacey replied hesitantly, not sounding so confident.
"Well I hope." Courtney replied, flashing a gentle smile, as they entered the Mall. "I need to buy a nice dress for our college reunion." Courtney said.
"Yeah I almost forgot, our college reunion is next week." Stacey said.
"Hey, Stacey Roth what's up?" A handsome young man, wearing jeans and a leather jacket, with dark slick hair greeted Stacey and Courtney.
Just as soon as Stacey and Courtney saw the guy they immediately recognized him.
"Eric Drake." Stacey said nonchalantly.
Eric Drake is a famous actor, Stacey's and Courtney's former college mate, and apparently he is one of Stacey's pursuer's. Who also happens to be nothing but trouble.
"Yep that's me, in the flesh!" Eric answered smugly, with a smile on his face, he shifted his gaze to Courtney.
"Sup Courtney, Stacey's long time BFF." Eric said as he shifted his gaze back to Stacey.
Courtney's cheeks felt hot, from Blushing.
"So what have you been up to these days Stacey?" Eric asked making eye contact with Stacey.
Slightly smiling, Stacey replied nonchalantly: "Not much…I'm busy with being a housewife."
Stacey lied hoping this will stop this guy from pursuing her just like all the boys she went to college with.
Eric raised a brow briefly, before letting out a small chuckle, "Oh really? You're still married to Arthur?" Eric asked, faking a smile, even though he was disappointed, and slightly heartbroken after hearing that.
"Yeah, married and happy." Stacey lied nonchalantly.
'Seriously you're still married to that loser, princess?' Eric thought to himself, letting out a side smile.
"So what does Arthur do these days? Does he have a job?" Eric asked.
"Umm…he works at Roth Industries." Another lie from Stacey.
"Nice." Eric replied, faking a smile.
"Well….ummm would you girls like something to drink?" Eric offered, looking on the ground. Right now he was cooking up something devious.
'Well it doesn't matter if you're still married or not, I just want that hot body, and I think today is the day I taste that body, and those lips.' Eric thought to himself, lustfully looking at Stacey as he waited for Stacey and Courtney's answer.
Stacey eyed Courtney, hoping Courtney will be the one to decline this guy. But Courtney just avoided her gaze. "Ummm… we're going to have to decline your offer Eric, we're actually here to shop, and if we delay we're afraid the mall will close soon." Stacey said.
"Well then the mall will stay open for another 2 hours then? I own this Mall so I set the rules." Eric suggested, smiling widely.
"Great, then we'll have a drink with you Eric." Courtney jumped in before Stacey could decline. It was clear that Courtney liked Eric by the way she was looking at him.
Stacey's mouth hung slightly open, surprised that her friend would make such a decision without asking her first.
"Okay this way, please." Eric gestured to his office.
Courtney pulled Stacey by the hand before she could decline again. "Sure Eric." Courtney said as they walked to Eric's office, with Eric following behind them.
a sinister grin crept on Eric's face. 'Stacey I'm going to make you regret rejecting me, too bad your friend has to be a victim too….but seeing the way she looks at me, I think she will enjoy it.' Eric thought, smiling smugly.
"Eli, I need sleeping pills?" Eric said in a whisper to the cashier.
The cashier smiled slightly as he scratched his bald head. "So soon Eric? I don't think it's wise to drugs those two ladies…they look like they come from respected and wealthy families." Eli suggested nervously.
In response Eric aggressively slapped the table as he demanded. "The pills now! And keep the CCTV cameras on, I'll use the video to shut those sluts up after what I'm going to do to them." Eric demanded pointing his finger at Eli.
Feeling helpless since Eric was his boss Eli could only nod his head as he gave Eric the sleeping pills.
"I want you to have two security guards, to guard my office door." Eli ordered before walking off, from the cashier. 'Stacey I'm going to make you hate your life, and guess who's going to hate you? That useless nothing, that you're so proud of calling your husband, cause I'll make it seem like you were loving it too.' Eric thought to himself, chuckling menacingly.
