I smiled meekly at her. In terms of fighting, Val can and always has been beating me. I can barely hold up against Kirsten not to talk of Val.
Again, I just gauge their strength and experience from what I've seen and what I know about them.
"I'm feeling left out now." Val pouted.
"You too, come here." I stretched out one of my hands and dragged her to join the hug.
"It's okay, it's getting too cheesy," Val complained ending the sweet hug quicker than necessary. "Come see what I prepared." Val walked to show us what she prepared.
I followed behind her. It wasn't long until I noticed a picnic mat already set on the floor with a picnic basket beside it.
"We are here for a picnic…" I wanted to question but it turned out to be a flat statement.
"Yeah, yeah."
"Thanks," I said in appreciation.
"For what?" She crooked her neck to the side making her look like a baby.
