Julian had enough of his work day and it was barely after lunch, hitting a midday slump. What he didn't expect was to fall asleep at his desk instead of working on a time-limited assignment, waking up only because his coworker gently came over to prod him awake in his cubicle. Julian smiled and thanked Maria, who often only had the best intentions in mind rather than to be a nag. She was clearly concerned about Julian, but he reassured her that he was fine.
