Peronell Keen,
"Are you perhaps attracted to men?" He looked dumbfounded by what I said.
"You and your friend think that I like men. Do you want me to show you that I'm not attracted to men?" Josef's blue eyes looked at me intensely.
"I don't think I want to know..."
I immediately avoided his eyes, however, he made me face as he put his firm hand on both my cheek.
"Haha... this is sexual harassment, good sir." I wanted so badly to kill myself in this awkward situation.
"Do I look like a person to care if someone got offended by my actions?"
I looked at him, he was genuine with his words. Of course, he wouldn't care about my discomfort, he's a jerk for fuck's sake!
"What are you gonna do know, huh? Slit my throat? Throw me in a lake full of alligators?" I know this would provoke him even more, but I don't care.
"I wouldn't let you go away that fast, I would torture you while you're here in this academy, while you're in my presence you will suffer."
"I think that's enough." I removed his hand that was in my way.
"Huh?" He was confused, who wouldn't?
"You wouldn't go that far, even if you did it will stain your name. This is not your home country anymore, you're in a foreign place. Don't forget that. Even if you're a son of a Grand Duke, you should know your place here. We are both representatives after all."
"How dare you talk to me like that?" He was a hundred per cent full of wrath now.
"I won't repeat myself, I've said what needed to be said. I shall bid my farewell then until we meet again."
I hurriedly walked away before I could get even more caught up with the tension that was building up.
Lianna Morris,
"Where have you been?" I chose violence in this early morning.
"I should be asking you that." Peronell didn't try to hide her evident avoidance that she even tried to pinpoint the question towards me.
"Actually I'm the one who's supposed to ask the two of you about that." Cedany joined in as we looked at her with upset looks on our faces.
"We should be the ones asking you!" Peronell hugged Cedany.
"Hey! That's a foul move!" I joined in trying to kick Peronell out of the hug.
Cedany laughed at us as I stared at her admiringly. Hearing her laugh, looking at her face, and most of all seeing her healthy is the very thing I want the most!
"Where did you even go?" I questioned Cedany.
"I just went to town with Simon, since he invited me to get gelatos. I could never turn down a gentleman's invitation." Cedany looked like she had a lovely time yesterday as she looked joyous.
"I went to look for you first thing in the morning, but you weren't inside the infirmary. You got me so worried!" Peronell put her head on Cedany's lap.
"And where did you go after that?" I looked at Peronell suspiciously.
"I bumped into your best friend, Jose!" Peronell joked, but it didn't make me laugh one bit.
"Josef?! Are you kidding me? We aren't even friends and would never be! I plan to keep it that way forever." I looked away at Peronell who had a teasing look on her face.
"Don't be like that! I'm only joking. To change the subject, I have a serious matter that I wanted to talk about." Peronell looked worried.
"And that is?" Cedany turned serious.
"I've been having this feeling that someone is following me around. The first time I felt it was when I was with Lief, we were trying to find Lianna. And the most recent one is yesterday. I bumped into Josef and I thought it was only him, but I still felt like there was another presence with us."
"That's weird... I haven't had any weird experiences like that here. Have you been feeling that something's off, Dan?" I looked at Cedany who seemed to be thinking far off.
"I'm not sure, I haven't paid attention to my surroundings. I just find this Academy weird and because of its weirdness, I could barely see anything out of the ordinary. Since it's all weird." Cedany stood up from her bed.
"Nell, these are the times when you should always keep your servant with you at all times!" I placed my hand on Peronell's shoulders.
"You're right about that one. I should be doing just that then! Thank you for your advice, Lady Lina. You're as wise as ever." Peronell curtsied.
"I continue to be the wisest of all, Lady Nell. Thank you for your courteous compliment!" I played along.
"We shall get ready for the day, ladies." Cedany joined.
"We shall, Lady Dan." Peronell replied.
After History class, we walked Peronell to her next class, which is Lancing: for lancers. It caught me by surprise, I thought that she would pick fencing.
"Good luck with your class!" Cedany cheered.
"Later then." Peronell waved us goodbye and she went inside the room.
"Don't think I haven't noticed, you're the last one who went inside the dorm yesterday."
I looked at Cedany with an innocent look as my eyes soon wandered around the hallway.
"Don't you avoid my question, when were you yesterday?"
"Fine, I'll tell you honestly since I can't possibly lie to a God. I accidentally fell asleep on Athalos." I laughed awkwardly, trying to make my words less awkward but I guess it didn't help.
"How did that happen, I mean how is that even possible?" Cedany looked at me in disbelief.
"I didn't have any proper sleep because I was up thinking about your well-being! Maybe his caressing made me sleepy.'' I looked away as I felt my face grow hot.
''He caressed you to sleep?!" I immediately shushed Cedany by putting my hand on her mouth.
"Shh! What if people hear you?" By now I'm red as a tomato. ''It's not something to make a fuss about, after I woke up he escorted me to our dorm room and that was it." I explained.
''Ahem! Of course, you wouldn't do something so indecent with a man you've just met. I'm sorry for overreacting." Cedany looked away with an embarrassed look.
Even when she's embarrassed she still looks so adorable! Fufu! Shall I continue to tease her? I shall!
Peronell Keen,
I was standing in the room without knowing anything. The other representatives are talking to one another and I'm just another outcast. Oh, how I wish Tristan was at least here...
Before I knew it, my knight in shining armour walked up inside the room. Tristan, my saviour!
''Over here." I said to Tristan as he walked towards me.
"You seem happy to see this beautiful face."
Tristan as always flaunted his beauty.
"Of course, I am! I'm always happy to see my knight in shining armour.'' I smiled gently.
"Did you get a concussion or something?'' Tristan backed away.
"No, but I decided that you're now a knight and not a servant.''
"That's very sudden. Did I do something?"
''You should just enjoy the moment before I change my mind and continue to call you a servant." I stared at him, deadpan.
"You're right once again, haha..." Tristan slowly looked away.
"Mr. Knight of Lady Peronell, do you have news for your lady?"
I was curious if there was anything new lately, usually, there's a new gossip every morning. Once I would step out of the dorm I would hear the students talk in the hallways about rumours and scandals. Unfortunately, this morning, everyone is rather quiet. Too quiet to be exact, that it's not even normal.
"Not that I've heard of. The only thing that people are talking about these days is the DeepClaw incident, however, it did die down. No one's talking about anything anymore. Even if they are to talk about something, it should be me. I mean! Just look at this beauty!" Tristan pointed at his face.
''At this point, you're very pitiful. It's sad to even look at you in the face."
''Why is that?''
''Because people don't care if you're beautiful if your personality is desperate for attention. If you want girls to be all over you, you should play it hard to get. And don't even bother bringing up your beautiful face. Be more like..." I browse around the room and my eyes land on William Hawk who is not so far away from me. "William Hawk." I whispered.
''Yes?" A voice asked behind me which gave me goosebumps.
''Oh, hello there, Your Highness!" I greeted William.
"You look energetic today. I'm guessing Cedany is feeling well?" William questioned.
Cedany? Was he worried? Why would he ask about her?
"Yes, she's feeling better. Lianna is taking care of her. So you don't need to worry for her." I assured.
"Who said he was worried? William is just being courteous, he wasn't worried about that lowly being's health whatsoever!" A girl with black hair, who I didn't even know existed said.
"Pardon? And you are?" The girl scoffed at my question.
"This is my fiancée, Martha Morgaine." As William introduced her, Martha flipped her hair with a proud look plastered on her undeniably pretty face.
''I see..."
''I must say, she's worse than me.'' Tristan whispered in my ear as I nodded in agreement.
''I'm glad to know that Cedany is feeling well. Please tell her I'd like to catch up with her soon."
Martha looked at William with an upset look. I mean who wouldn't? I think William is just forced to be engaged with her, so I couldn't blame these two. The two of them soon left to go to Arthur, standing in some corner patiently.
"Those two are a weird couple..." Tristan commented.
"We are too."
"Yes." Tristan agreed.
