Memories of the Dark: ''With Extra Hot Chilli Peppers"

''It's good that they gave up on escorting us home. Those two casanovas were so persisting.'' I sighed.

''Everything that happened yesterday must've traumatized the both of you, just thinking about it is crazy enough. I'm impressed that the two of you didn't get caught.'' Peronell complimented.

We told Peronell everything that happened yesterday. As soon as we got back yesterday we went straight to the dormitory and took a very long nap.

''Whatever they saw wasn't as traumatizing as my experience at that butchering madness!'' I completely forgot that this parrot existed.

''And you even brought back a souvenir from your enjoyable experience...'' I could tell that Peronell was sarcastic.

''Yeah, I kept him inside my bag. It's a good thing that he didn't run out of air or made any noises.'' I stared at the parrot.

''Hey! I could barely breathe inside that stupid bag and one more thing, I had to listen to those annoying ass men hit on the two of you!'' The parrot ranted.

This parrot changed personalities real quick. Just yesterday it was looking all pitiful and traumatized.

''Imagine the horror, huh? What is your name mister parrot?'' Peronell asked the parrot.

''Dumphry is my name. An old lady was my previous owner, Lady Ganor. Oudart was an errand boy for Lady Ganor and my lady was upset with him when the truth was revealed to her that he was a heartless cannibal. And so she banned Oudart from stepping on her residency ever again. However, as revenge, he took me from her. Thankfully, Lady Ganor is unharmed and well.'' Dumphry, the parrot said.

''How come he hasn't killed you? With that chatty mouth of yours, wouldn't he have been annoyed?'' I didn't mean to be rude with that question, however, I was genuinely curious.

''Well, that was the reason why he kept me alive. He took me as entertainment for him as I watch him butcher all those innocent humans...'' I honestly feel sad for Dumphry, he had to experience that kind of thing. ''Where did the pink lady go?'' Dumphry asked.

''You mean Cedany? We have classes today. Since she picked shooter, she has to take that class. Nell and I are free the whole day since we already finished two of our classes today with Cedany!'' I explained to him.

''Very shocking indeed, women can attend an academy and have an education?''

''What do you mean by that?'' Peronell was bothered, if she wasn't she wouldn't react this way.

''I don't mean to offend you both, but in the past women aren't allowed an education.''

''Yes, it wasn't allowed. However, there have been changes.'' Peronell looked like she had something in her mind. ''How are you knowledgeable about human society and its language? Aren't you supposed to just repeat words that you hear? But how come I'm able to have conversations with a bird? Has the world gone crazy?'' She continued to bombard Dumphry with questions.

''There is an easy explanation for that. I am simply a magical creature, not a normal animal. Lady Ganor found me in a forest when she was in her youth. My lady took care of me and treated me very well, I grew fond of her, and I ended up not leaving her side.'' Dumphry flew around as he explained. "And now I have a new owner and that is Lady Cedany! I owe her my life and I shall serve her as I served Lady Ganora.'' Dumphry landed on the bed.

''Sadly, she gave you to me. So now you are my familiar.'' I shrugged at Dumphry.

''WHAT!? NO! NO!'' Dumphry suddenly attacked me.

"Hey! Stop, you might ruin her beautiful face!'' Peronell tried to stop him.

Cedany... hopefully, you are almost done with whatever you are doing now and come and save me from this demon.

Cedany Shaw,

''Achoo!'' I sneezed, thankfully the other representatives were busy with their chattering to hear me.

''May the Goddess bless you, lady.'' Benedict popped out like the toy clown where it pops out of a box.

I quickly hid my face using my hair and avoided eye contact with him.

''Who are you talking to now?'' Sadon is with him, how lucky can I get?

''Are you blind? I'm talking to her, duh!'' Benedict pointed at me.

Sadon's eyes landed on me. I could melt just by him looking at me, not in a good way though. Sadon is a very intimidating person to me. There is a huge gap between Benedict and Sadon, they are opposites. Benedict's personality suits his appearance, unlike Henry; who is a wolf in sheep's clothing, Benedict is a wolf who doesn't even try to hide it. Meanwhile, Sadon is a very unpredictable person. I couldn't tell what he is thinking about, I would compare him to a machine, something that doesn't think or feel anything.

''You're so loud. Can't you see that this person is uncomfortable around you?'' Actually, it's not only Benedict I'm uncomfortable with, it's you too.

"What!? Do I make you uncomfortable?'' Benedict shoved his face in front of mine. I was unable to prevent myself from locking eyes with his yellow-orangish eyes. I never noticed how sparkly his eyes are, who would've thought he would have such pretty eyes? ''Oh, have you fallen for me, dear?'' Benedict smirked as I stared at him in disbelief.

''Excuse his behaviour, miss?'' Sadon was about to say my name, but soon realized he doesn't even know my name.

"Cedany Shaw.'' I finished his sentence. ''Don't worry about it, I have encountered a lot of men in this academy with the same ego and personality as him. So don't bother with the useless excuses and apologies.'' Sadon nodded at my response as Benedict looked somewhat displeased.

''May I ask who you are comparing me with, dear Cedany? I feel sad that I'm not anything special or noticeable enough for you,'' Benedict looked directly at me, ''you are my type after all.'' and he continued to smirk.

Is he flirting with me? I think he is... or am I missing some important detail? A message that's not exactly what it is?

''Enough with that, I thought you finally found your true love. Why are you flirting with other girls then?'' Sadon had an annoyed look on his face.

''You mean Lady Finn Ischer? I do like her very much, but she's very aloof! How can I even meet her again, when I don't even have her home address?'' Benedict looked down sadly as I took this chance to go further away from the two.

They can never know that I'm Finn Ischer. Who knows what they'll do once they found out about our disguises? They might report us and we get expelled from ACA. I stayed in a far-away corner and waited for our professor to finally come.

Peronell Keen,

''Can you believe that? They were talking badly about me! In front of me!''

Tristan has been ranting for hours and we've just been listening to him. Even Dumphry; who is usually talkative, have turned quiet.

''Why did they even assign you to be roommates with those dudes?'' It got me thinking about why Peyton, Ulric, and Josef ended up with Tristan. It's too much of a coincidence.

''You are so cursed, Tristan.'' Lianna didn't even try to comfort him, she just straight up made him feel even worse.

"How can this beauty be cursed?!'' Tristan put both his hands on his cheeks.

''Shush, boy! I don't wanna hear anything from you anymore. You're so boring!'' Dumphry was annoyed

Surprisingly, Dumphry has calmed down from earlier, he is even standing on top of Lianna's finger.

''Hopefully, we don't come across in any trouble anymore. We need our beauty rest from all those weird encounters.'' I smiled as I feel the wind rushing towards me.

''Bold of you to say that, you didn't even come across anything dangerous.'' Lianna stated and killed my dramatic moment.

''Oh, look who showed up. We were just talking about you.'' Henry was suddenly in front of us, smiling like a sadist.

Tristan immediately hid behind me as my legs started to tremble. We came across the 'The troublesome handsome men of the representatives with extra hot chilli peppers' and no I didn't make up that name, it was those female students who are highly obsessed with the men of the representatives. Tch, like the women in the representatives, isn't hot. We should be called 'Top-notch Triple Trouble with extra hottest chilli peppers' and I have much more amazing naming skills than them.

''Are they 'The troublesome handsome men of the representatives with extra hot chilli peppers' that the female students were talking about earlier?'' Dumphry asked out loud.

Lianna and I shooted death glares at the stupid bird. Henry laughed out loud like a maniac.

''What is that name? Don't tell me you've been going around the academy spreading this name.'' Josef walked towards me and glared at me.

"Excuse you!? I would never go around the academy just to spread a name that doesn't even fit all of you!'' I poked his chest and I immediately regretted it since his chest was as hard as a rock. I quickly come to my finger's aid.

''The name doesn't fit us? What name do you suggest as a replacement?'' Fendrel Fox, the very popular artist asked with a curious look on his face.

Lianna stayed quiet as she looked at me as if she was saying that it was my problem so I should solve it myself.

''I would call you all 'Arrogant-Aggressive Association' because it fits all of your personalities so well.'' I replied proudly. This should shut them up.

''Your naming skills suck!'' Ulric replied, bursting into laughter as the other men laughed with him.

I was shaking and blushing in embarrassment! As if the female student's name for them were pretty. I forgot that I'm not good at comebacks, if ever, Lianna and Cedany are the ones who are good at it! Living as the most elegant woman to exist, how can I even have time to practice for badass comebacks? Huhu, save my poor soul...

''But that was cute of you to try.'' Fendrel gave me a charming smile, I could almost fall for it, but I won't.

Tristan glared at 'The troublesome handsome men of the representatives with extra hot chilli peppers' while Lianna and Dumphry had an unamused look on their faces.

''Say, do you guys want to join us? We're just about to have our lunch.'' Henry invited us, but he was eyeing Lianna like a wolf. ''We won't mind you joining in. Right, Josef?'' as Josef looked away.

''I honestly don't mind them joining.'' Ulric spoke as if talking in Josef's stead.

''Yeah, I don't mind too. Just make sure they won't do anything to annoy me.'' Peyton crossed his arms.

''As if we wanted to join in...'' Lianna muttered and only Dumphry and I could hear.

''That settles that then! Come, ladies.'' Fendrel said as he put an arm around me.

''What? We didn't agree to it yet...'' I said, but they didn't listen as they continued to pull us away.
