Dharma Awakening

'' He is becoming even more indifferent to death and bloodshed. '' Genzo fed the dying bandits some pills that mortals could tolerate to stop their bleeding.

He had left the spaceship and entered this planet by himself just to make sure that these bunch of rascals who called themselves bandits would not bleed to death. As for why he came all the way from the planet exosphere to give them pills, that was because these people were just trying to survive in his opinion even though they might be using an unorthodox means.

This is a fourth class planet after all and scenes like this were normal, it was just too unfortunate for them that they met someone like Zeralf. They were not even using any proper weapon. Genzo was far from being a messiah though, he only helped them from not bleeding to death, their detached limbs were as good as a goner and vermins might not even let them leave this deserted region alive.

'' They are becoming more brazen with their assailments. '' Genzo squinted his eyes as he looked at Zeralf's position from where he was despite the dozens of kilometers that separated them. '' To think they would even target her, hmph, such Insolence. ''

Zeralf on the other hand didn't know that he was currently being watched, he just took the two bodies and started teleporting repeatedly each teleportation covering distance of twenty meters. He would not be using those trashy wagons this time around, the previous experience had left a bad taste in his mouth.

The girl's cheek reddened and she waved her sword making the trees nearby explode. She was angry, annoyed and frustrated about this one person that came and went like a wind.

Earlier, he intruded her fight, he then went ahead to grab her arms without her permission and now he just left, not saying a word as if her existence did not matter.

'' You dic..you dimwit. '' She stomped her foot on the sandy ground while cursing Zeralf for the thousandth times, of course an elegant lady did not curse so she ended up correcting herself midway everytime.

Zeralf arrived at the spot where the spaceship would pick him and there he met Genzo who had his usual poker expression and his sword resting on his shoulder as usual.

'' It seems that Devas at the marble ranks are now playthings. '' He muttered without blinking. Zeralf on the other hand didn't answer, he just found himself a space to sink his bum in while closing his eyes afterwards. Even to Genzo, Zeralf was still cold and acted distant to him but Genzo knowing the situation was not at all bothered.

'' Tomorrow is the day of awakening. '' Genzo spoke without turning to see what Zeralf's expression said. '' I hope you're prepared. ''

'' Um '' Zeralf nodded while managing to make a low sound amidst his breath. Even his phlegmatic attitude faded albeit as traces of excitement and anticipation washed over them.

The time was finally here, he would be undergoing his Dharma awakening tomorrow and he would become a full-fledged Deva after that, just how much would he grow stronger by then ?

'' Power! ''

'' Power is finally here! '' An evil grin appeared on his stoic handsome face making him look like a devil prince that was about to melt his mate with his hotness.

'' Getting so easily carried away by the talks about getting more powerful. '' Genzo observed and sighed.

The day of awakening was a grand moment for every multiverse and cosmic nation. It always happened on the first day of every mortal year regardless of the location and position that a mortal was situated in. How this happened, no one knew and it was considered as one of the mysteries of reality.

During the first day of each mortal year, mortals who were destined to be Devas irrespective of what their future talents would be, were going to awaken to become Devas at the Quartz rank, the begining of the journey for every Deva out there. Each cosmic nation would anticipate this event as that would determine what their new talents were and their future military strength.

The number of mortals in their mid teens who awakened were not specific, sometimes it could be twenty percent of the total populations of mid teens mortals, sometimes it could go high to forty , fifty, and even below ten percent at times.

The ki density suddenly rose in every angle of Quinn Omniverse, areas with sparse Ki were now brimming with Ki and places which had high Ki density before had the surrounding Ki quadrupled.

Vermins, mortals amd Devas of different species and races observed this event in silence. Everywhere was so quiet that a pin movement might be heard from a near observer.

The day of Dharma awakening was usually considered a work free day, no one would go out to work or complete a mission and the leaders across the five cosmic nations observed keenly to make sure this eventful day would bring them even more strength as a nation.

Different runic artifacts were set on every recorded solar systems to calculate the ki fluctuations which would give the rough estimate of those that were able to awaken.

As the day started, uncountable number of mortals began to awaken and Ki exploded from their body, some awakening was peaceful and successful, some were a bit explosive and destrcutive, while few were actually at a continental level threat just from their awakening.

In a distant planet, thousands of trillions of light years outside of Ezgard, Ki exploded and the temperature rose absurdly before dark flames from hell sprouted and travelled unimaginable distanced charring everything on its part.

'' Heavens! Young prince did not disappoint. '' A young lady muttered with excitement as she stared at the young fella who was currently awakening his Dharma.

In another nation, Ki exploded and fabric spread from a heavenly beauty, her soft and curvy appearance even though she was in her mid teens would make one's heart quiver in desire. Wind blew and her figure rose in air while closing her eyes.

'' The descent of a goddess. '' A boy who was surprisingly awakening his Dharma too some distance away managed to speak with amazement flushing his eyes and his face reddened.

Another cosmic nation again, Ki exploded violently and a destrcutive aura which made the earth vibrated spread out from a burly lad whose appearance was just out of the human standard.

'' Screech! '' A low pitched screech was heard as ki exploded from another figure in a different cosmic nation, the temperature rose and fell simultaneously and the figure flew in air in a trance state.

Inside Ezgard, on planet Majhr, Ki exploded haphazardly and the whole building trembled. Actual words began to flow around a shirtless figure and he manifested his Zajra, a long staff appeared and the words carrying different meaning flew around him.

'' So this is what my Dharma actually looks like haha. '' He laughed loudly in excitement as he let the feeling sank into him.

On another planet, a lass whom Zeralf met a day before had Ki exploded around her and the phantoms of seven swords in different shapes surrounded her figure who was in a sitting position with her eyes closed. The ki explosion made her long blonde hair flow midair and her whole aura vibrated when she opened her eyes which revealed her scarlet iris.

If one miss was compared to the descent of a goddess to the mortal land, this miss would be compared to a celestial empress whom was not to be blasphemed.

'' I can't expect less from my lady. '' A feminine voice sounded from one corner.

This event where Ki exploded to ignite and awaken the Dharma of a mortal was occuring simultaneously across different planets galaxies and cosmic nations and Zeralf was not an exception.

Genzo having had a first hand experience from the boy's bloodline awakening couple of years ago, had taken Zeralf away from the spaceship to a deserted asteroid. The asteroid had no star or any celestial body to illuminate it and it was covered with black rocky surface.

Ki violently exploded from his body and surroundings and another violent explosion followed. Ki wave of grey shade with tints of gold, silver, black and red hue covered the whole asteroid making it vibrate intensely. Dense chaotic energy rippled from his body outward and space trembled with minor tears, another explosion happened when the chaotic energy collided with other energy and Ki and the whole asteroid crumbled, before the rocky pieces could drift away in space, time suddenly seemed to freeze around them and they stopped.

Zeralf winced with every turn that his meridians took to strengthen themselves and when he could not take it any longer, he fainted amidst his awakening.

'' As if I knew this would happen. '' Genzo snorted

'' Nothing seemed to go normal for this kid eh. '' Genzo had an amazed look as he went ahead to pick Zeralf but he stopped when he suddenly felt a dangerous feeling that threatened to erase his existence.

Genzo's eye were wide in shock and he ran with his max speed appearing outside the solar system the asteroid was in, in a moment.

Immediately after, the solar system began to dissolve, no to describe it better, it was as if the solar system was ceasing to exist due to a higher authority that ruled over it.

'' Damnit! I forgot he is one of them. '' Sweat trickled down his backbone and his heart palpitated in horror. He had just survived one of his most dangerous situations in his lifetime.

'' Do they all have this absurd power during their awakening? '' He questioned no one particularly.

'' Well it is not as if we had a record for that. ''

'' Psycho. ''He wanted to gulp saliva but his mouth was now dry and his heart had yet to calm down.

After some minutes, that dreadful feeling had subsided and the whole solar system had vanished, luckily for them, there was no mortal planet in it.

When the solar system vanished, Genzo saw a naked Zeralf who had his eyes opened and he looked in the distant in a trance state and Genzo knew better not to disturb him
