Chapter 9

Later the door bell rings, I wasn't in the moon to answer it, no matter who or what it was, the bell rang again.

Until finally I got up in anger and walked to the door and opened it, roughly. "What!" I yelled with anger, but when I saw who was at the door, I just cringed, her just stood there.

"Am sorry if I came at a bad time, I'll come back another time." she said with sadness in her eyes, I could see that something was wrong the moment I looked at her.

"No.., come in, please, that's the last thing I want right now." she walked in and I ushered her to sit and she sat.

"Could you please hold." she said softly.

"Of course." I said as I held her in my arms and she rest her head on my chest, I couldn't help but wondered what was wrong with her.

It wasn't the time, so I just wanted to comfort her in that moment. She stayed in my arms, and we both fell asleep, I watched her as rested on my chest before we slept, how beautiful she was, she looked so calm and innocent, my mom walked in on us.

When she saw us her eyes just widened, I woke up to look back and my mom just stood there looking at us.

"Mom!" I said and Alisa woke up from her slumber.

"Did I wake you up?" Mom said with a confused look on her face, Alisa got up and when she saw my mom she almost jumped of her skin.

"Alisa this is my mom, mom this is Alisa, she's my um... friend." I introduced.

"Hi honey, you know, your the first girl my son as ever brought home." mom said with a soft smile on her face, as she walked to us and extended her hand.

"Nice to meet Mrs. Blair." she said taking her hand.

"Your very beautiful." mom said with a grin.

"Thank you, I can see where Andrew got his good-looks." she said smiling back.

"Her you staying for diner? We would love to have you." mom asked.

"Maybe another time, I really have to go." she said as I walked her out door.

"Nice to meet you Mrs. Blair, take care!"

"I hope I see you soon Alisa, Bye." mom said.

"Bye!"

My mother just waved her hand. "Your mother sweet woman." Alisa said with a sad look.

"I know, am lucky to have her." I said looking at her.

"She kind of remind me of my mother." she said with a sad look.

"Come here." I said as I lapped my arms around her shoulders as we walked.

We walked for a few minute before we walked in a cafeteria, we sat in side.

"Would you tell me, what's wrong?" I asked with concern, looking at her and she lowered her head.

"I had a fight with Mary and I just want to clear my mind, you were the on one I could think of." she said looking me in eyes.

"What was the fight all about?" I asked curiously, I hoped the fight wasn't because of me.

"It was about some silly thing, that isn't even worth talking about." she said looking away.

Avoiding eye contact with me for some reason, I knew that there was more to it than she was telling me. Something was a little off with her. We stayed there and chatted until I took her home and I returned home.

I found my mom cleaning some plate in the kitchen, I just tried to furtively pass without been seen but she heard me, before I could even reach the upstairs.

"Andrew." I stopped in my tracks.

"Hey mom." I said as I turned to face her, "Is that girl, your girlfriend?" she asked curiously, not looking at me, waiting for my response.

"I don't really wanna talk about that now." I said.

"Come on, she's the first girl I ever seen you with." Mom said.

"Mom!" I yelled looking at her.

"Okay, your diner is on the table." she said, pointing to the diner table.

I walked to the table, I felt guilt for the way I talked to my mom, after I ate my my food, I walked to her and apologized. "Am sorry mom, its just that am..." I said, but before I could finish, she cut me off.

"Having doubt already?" she asked not looking at me.

"How did you know?" I said impressedly. "I just feel like she not been honest with me." I said with a low tone voice, she take a towel that was next to her dried her hands and made her way to the dinner table pulled out a chair and sat.

"Its normal to have uncertainty in a relationship, just make sure to ear her out before you do anything." she said and stood up walked to the upstairs, I just heard slam shut behind her.

I stayed there and finished my ate my dinner, after which I carried myself to my room.

Next morning I prepared myself for another day of school, I got to school and walked to my locker, checked what I have to deal with for the day, the first subject was physics, God I hate it.

I slowly walked to my class, I got there and everyone was settled ready to get their day started, Brian was already in, but Jason wasn't in as of yet, I wondered where he was, as I made my way to my seat but before I sat, I just gave Brian a soft pat on the back, he turned to look at me.

"Where is Jason?" I asked. Brian just shrugged, minutes later Jason walked into the class room, he walked straight to his sat next to me.

"Where have you been?" I asked looking at him.

"I was...., um....I was doing something at that place." he replied, I just stared at him.

"AAAHHH!"

"What?" he asked.

"Nothing." I replied and shift my focus to the display board. After physics three of us went to different classes.

When lunch time came, I sat in cafeteria waiting for Alisa, but Mary walked to me, I was about to go find her, when she come to where I was sitting.

"You want to know the truth? Come with me." she said taking my hand, I was lost as to what she meant.

"What truth? And where do you want to take me?" I asked baffled. I wasn't afraid that she could be wrong, I was afraid that she was right.

"Could you please just come with me, or maybe you are afraid of the truth." she said, I stood-up, I walked behind her slowly.

She looked back a couple of time and she just gave a look, to tell me to hurry up. She took me to the boys restroom and she pointed to a room that was in straight, I slowly made my way toward the door, I looked back and Mary just gestured for me to proceed.

I began to hear voices as I got closer to the door, the voices were becoming more clear the closer I got to the door, it sounded like to people were arguing about something.

Voices on the other side of the door, the voice sounded so familiar.

I reached the door and I heard the voices of a boy and a girl, I behind to Mary and she just gestured for me to proceed, I just walked to the door. I got to it and leaned against the door, and it was clear as day. "Am done, I can't keep doing." the girl said.
