~Third POV~

*KABOOM*

*BANG*

*Bang*

Explosion gunshots were ringing out inside the Harmony Bar Club as the Spider Grunts were suddenly attacked furiously by the efforts of Team RWBY, (J)NPR, Glynda, and Peach as they stormed inside.

When the Spiders noticed this they tried to defend themselves but couldn't be able to do anything about their current situation as they were quickly disarmed as Glynda used her Semblance crushing their weapons into scrap metal.

*Woosh*

Twirling around followed by a burst of speed Ruby used her to quickly grab most of the grunts into the air as Peach brought out her rifle taking arms and shooting them all with pinpoint accuracy.

*Bang*

*Bang*

*Bang*

Each shot was filled with Lightning Dust in small doses as well as sleeping gel agents to take care of them without being much of an issue as she tells the rest of the members, "The Spiders lost their frontlines. First years are to engage in the front now!"

Nodding making quick movements immediately they all rushed towards with metal clanging with each other, bodies being thrown around, and chaos happening within the short few minutes as the raid began.

Each member, doing their best to resolve the fight as fast as possible as Honey Wine ducked down moving away silently at her bar and freedom destroyed as fear crept to her heart, 'No! This wasn't supposed to happen! At the very least I … -'

*Thud*

Before Honey Wine could escape a bit, she, was suddenly caught in the air by as Glynda glares at her but Pyrrha was the one to notice who she was with her eyes widen, "Wait… weren't you the songstress in the café we were in? If you're here…"

Not even needing words to confirm it more Glynda glares at Honey Wine caught in the air as she coldly glares at her with a tone equaling her glare, "Tell me now. Where. Do. You. Have. My. Student."

Gulping down at this Honey Wine kept her mouth shut at this making sure she keeps the reason why they took him down in her throat.

Peach notices this as she comes over to Honey Wine as gets closer while Glynda uses her Semblance to hold her in place towards her as Peach takes off her glove, "No worries. My Semblance will allow me to see the target memories like a book. Should take a few seconds."

Professor Peach Semblance is an intelligence-based Semblance as she needs contact to activate it on a person as she can use it herself.

is intelligence based as its, main function is storing mass amounts of knowledge within a single person.

But during her time in Beacon Professor Peach managed to evolve her semblance to the point where they change her classification of intelligence to utilitarian class making it more useful.

upon reading, hearing, or seeing any sort of event, the user is capable of absorbing that thought or memory into the core of their soul, so that the memory literally becomes a part of them.

This knowledge can range from something that someone said, to entire books, even to different types of magic that others used, similar to the effects of reaction-type Semblances. Once enough data has been stored inside of the user, soul, they are capable of producing a holographic interface that floats directly in front of them and is designed uniquely for each user.

Professor Peach trained hard to increase her knowledge to achieve that feat with her semblance as they can evolve the more, they train it similar to muscles.

Once the user has pulled up their interface, they are capable of digging around inside of their memories for access to any sort of memory that they may require, and even delete any memory they want, to make room for others of greater importance, however, the weakness to this is that she needs to be in contact with the person to work.

Any person she came into contact with for a day will have the same effects given but once the day is over the person Peach touched won't be affected by her .

*Shiii*

A digital screen soon appeared out of nowhere and everyone around her was surprised to see this as Peach collected all the info from Honey Wine while struggling in pain, "Uh huh. I see… Ok! Students everyone please accept the screen soon to be in front of you to obtain the info needed."

They all looked confused seeing a screen in front of them as they pressed the button a loading bar soon appeared over their heads and their headaches while Glynda flinches a bit as she replies to her students, "This here is Peach Semblance Students. that was once an intelligence to utilitarian class. This is another function for her that allows us to have info immediately into our heads so be sure to endure the pain."

*Ding*

When their loading bars are done they breathe in and out sweating feeling their headaches Blake asked holding her head in pain, "Ow… Professor is the pain this normal and how can one's semblance change classes from intelligence to utilitarian to something like this?"

Glynda having the info and knowing where her student that she was supposed to protect quickly reply to Blake's question getting everyone's attention, "Be sure to remember this student. Semblances are like muscles and are able to grow and evolve such as in the case of Professor Peach here. A Semblance can also grow to gain a unique new ability altogether needing a reclassification for them. Now then… it's time to save your classmate Team JNPR."

"Right!"

Nodding at this Peach began to stay behind along with Team RWBY as she ordered them as they stood in place hearing her words, "Affirmative Goodwitch. I and Team RWBY will stay to ensure these Spiders don't escape. We already made it back tired I don't want my first years any more exhausted or killed. I wish you the best of luck."

"But – "

Ruby tried to speak but a cold glare from the cookie monster shut her up as she spoke to Team RWBY but softens up as she continues to speak as Glynda and Team (J)NPR left, "That is an order, Rose. You must have faith in your fellow comrades in this. After all, they came to Beacon the least, we can do is trust one another of your future teammates."

Ruby wanted to retort but… she reluctantly agreed to what Professor Peach have said as she waited along with her team rounding up the Spiders that are knocked out.

~Jack POV~

2 hours to go.

I have been waiting sitting across from Neo as she glares at me not once speaking more than her first surprise as she analyzes me as I made sure to keep my eyes on her the whole time.

It has been a while since I stayed here for a while as I tried to ask for some answers about what the villains are doing but nothing yet.

My have already searched the area as well as got everything for blueprints of how to escape the path away from Mt. Glenn pathway back to Vale City's abandoned connection point to the mountains.

Waiting for a bit trying a new tactic on her I began to use to get something out eating a random bar as I chew down on it, "So… are you planning on ever talking to me? Or are you still giving me the silent treatment?"

After what seemed like forever Neo finally spoke out to me as she talked for the first time I heard her voice, "Who are you?"

Choosing the right to remain silent as I feign ignorance as Neo continues more as she spoke more about the potion, "The medicine. There was no way that the Spiders produced it and not an Atlas Gel creation. They don't have the means to create a miracle drug like that. Atlas no matter how much of the peak of science they are can't create what you have..."

Staying silent a bit more Neo began to go on a small rant about me with a new light in her eyes I can't tell as she spoke to me, "There are so many things wrong with you and that medicine you have or made created a miracle drug. The same kid that seems to have the attention of miss Fire Bitch on you."

Raising my eyebrows at this I can take a guess that's probably Cinder she is mentioning as she continues to rant at me but soon comes to one thing that matters to her, "Give me back Roman hat. You better if you know what's good for you or else you will regret it."

It all comes full circle to the hat.

Taking out the hat of Roman I better play it safe with her as her eyes widen seeing it probably not believing I would agree I replied to her with a shrug of my shoulders, "Sure. I really don't have much of a need for it. Plus, I had a feeling that it had some sentimental value to the old man."

Placing the hat on her head she glares at me she spoke out with a confused voice, "Feelings? How would someone like you know that – Right… that info-gathering Semblance."

No point in arguing about it I simply nodded as I wanted something from Neo as I talked to her in a calm manner, "Figures as much. So, miss Smug Assassin what's your plan now?"

Neo is thinking about something and I have to consider a few things about this.

I basically got nothing from this endeavor and leaving Neo alive is more trouble than it's worth even not sharing any info needed I want to know.

That was when I heard her begin to get me a deal for me to take as she spoke out the deal to me listening to her words, "M-hmm… How about if you let me go free I and Roman won't target you or your friends. An added bonus along with a favor from me if you let me escape and not call the authorities."

Hmm…

Getting a deal and a favor like this huh?

I need to think about this carefully…

Should I trust her words in this or not?
