Chapter 108: RWBY/Justice League (9)

~Third POV~

In another part of Vale nearby the Schnee Dust Company Headquarters in Vale with Weiss and Diana both standing in the middle of the building Weiss first asks Diana, "So, uh… Diana, your mothers… created you?"

Diana nodded her head while they began to explain the purpose of her creation in a soft tone in her voice, "They felt Remnant was on the brink of a great discovery, but that this discovery would bring terrible conflict. They prophesied three would come forward – Black, White, and Gray – A warrior, healer, and a stranger – though not necessarily in that order."

*Shiii*

Activating her in an attempt to unlock the Schnee Dust Company Headquaters of Vale Weiss questions Diana curiously, "Sooo… what's it like? Being an Automaton."

Diana pauses at this and expresses a frown but opens the palms of her hand to reveal gears inside that made her, "Hm… lonely."

*Creeee*

Weiss quickly apologizes for an ignorant question to Diana while the door finally opens, "Oh. I'm sorry Diana."

Diana quickly shakes her head inside expressing a smile plastered on her face talking to Weiss happily, "It's quite alright, friend Weiss. I've made so many new friends!"

Weiss smiles at this but tries to make it a contest a bit being a bit smug and having more friends, "Me too. Though, you know, it's not a competition. Not that I'd begrudge you're being the victor – what?"

Weiss's eyes first landed on a person inside the Schnee Dust Vale HQ speaking out surprised to find one of their targets that Ozpin mentioned to them, "Wait – I know you! You're supposed to be kidnapped!... Are you kidnapped?"

The person Weiss talks to is a young man with black shaved hair and brown eyes. He wears no shirt, one black armband with a few cyan cross designs on his right arm, black bagged pants, and boots. He has several prosthesis on the left side of his head with a red metallic left eye, left arm, and right leg.

The young man sits on his chair while he clicks on a remote to bring his leg and parts to him while talking to Diana and Weiss in a neutral tone, "I have not been kidnapped. Am I in trouble for not being kidnapped?"

Weiss quickly shakes her head at this while explaining the reason why they came for him to begin with, "No, but we went to rather a lot of trouble thinking you were in mortal peril and resolving rescuing you!"

Diana seeing the young man still kept his neutral expression attempted to find some common ground to connect, "Hello, friend! My name is Diana. Are you… a mortal man?... A Faunus?... Or – an Automaton like me."

Diana reveals her origins being an Automaton with parts flying around her as her armor became parts showing it to the young man before he cuts it short holding his hand signaling to stop, "Nope. Hey, so… I'm going to guess that you understood my body was different from other people's bodies. And you wanted to make me feel welcomed and understood by demonstrating that your body is also different from other people's bodies."

The young man began to put his hand on the parts with his mechanical leg placing it back into his body continuing to talk, "But my relationship with this tech is not your relationship with this tech. I'm not an Automaton. I'm Human, but I'm dependent on Technology to live like a certain General. The technical term is Cyborg."

Weiss sees that Cyborg began to take a white cloth and she handed it to him while questioning him how he landed here in her family Vale Branch HQ, "How did you come to be here? Even Professor Ozpin thought you were one of the victims of these kidnappers targeting people with special Semblances!"

"Clik."

Placed her hand on the desk accidentally activating by mistake with Cyborg and asked once more about the situation, "I'm sorry one more time –?"

"REET!"

That was when the alarms of the building lit up thanks to Weiss accidentally activating it while Diana comments about Weiss's family HQ, "Oh dear. We seem to have triggered the alarm system of your father's company, friend Weiss."

However, Cyborg didn't miss a beat when his hate for the Schnees went towards Weiss realizing who she is now with hostility, "Wait – you're Weiss Schnee? The daughter of the Schnee Dust Dynasty? STAY BACK!"

Hearing the yell of Cyborg's voice his red cybernetic eye flashed red as numbers were passing through getting the info he needed, "Was your father the one who sent assassins to cover up what the Dust Conglomerates did? And I know you are hiding intruder don't bother hiding behind my security!"

Weiss gets confused at this but that was before a voice she recognized her eyes widen in surprise hearing his voice, "I'll be damn. Didn't think I triggered the security system of this place. Nice to meet you… Weiss? And… whoever you are you two?"

Soon coming out from the shadows Weiss's eyes landed on Jack or to be exact one of his he sent to the Schnee Dust Company Vale Headquarters with Weiss yelling out in surprise but joy in her voice, "Jack! I didn't expect you to be here as well and not kidnapped! Glad to see you are safe."

Nodding at this while the clone Jack began to explain to Weiss finding out the real cause of the security breach, "Well… your sort of right Weiss. I'm one of his clones sent here in case you needed help. No worries when we're done I'll go poof and send the info back to the original. But the original is with Ruby and Bruce while another is sent to Yang's location. So… who's your new friend?"

Diana seeing this smile happily at this while she introduces herself to Jack's clone, "Hello friend of Weiss! I'm Diana Prince seems like luck blesses us with another ally to help."

Glancing his eyes at Weiss and Cyborg with surprise on his face but then comes to one conclusion asking it directly to Weiss, "Wait… Weiss did you by chance alert the security – scratch that. You probably did."

Weiss's face blushes red while shouts at him in anger for assuming she caused it, "What do you mean I caused this!"

Jack merely gives Weiss a deadpan stare before she finally relented saying it was an accident, "Oh come on! It was just this one time by accident!"

Jack sighs at this shaking his head while mumbling to her loud enough to hear making her head slump down, "Sigh… didn't miss Ann taught us NOT to alert in a building like this Weiss? You failed in stealth."

Weiss merely puffs her cheeks at this with Weiss and Jack's usual antics making Cyborg rethink their antics of them being assassins.

Turning their attention towards Cyborg Diana escalated the things using her Semblance her three gifts talking to Cyborg, "I must warn you, new friend, I have completed the Twelve Trials of Zodiac. And whether you like it or not we are alike. And I know the one thing that both our bodies are vulnerable to – is powers!"

*Woosh*

*CLANG*

With Diana's rope attached to Cyborg's arm he began to talk to her with a confident smile on his face shown, "Is that your Semblance, princess? Well here's mine – !"

"Zzzzzzt….!"

Electrical currents were released by Cyborg with the two attacks colliding with Jack using to help Diana to stand with a lough explosion between the two caused an electric feedback attack with electricity beginning to launch in different directions.

"WHAM…!"

Like that the two parties began to fight with Cyborg and began to bring in drones to help assist him against the assassins aiming to end his life thinking that Jack's clones, Weiss, and Diana are after his life thinking they are assassins by the Dust Conglomerate.

"Ahh!"

"Ugh…!"

With that, the fight is on with Cyborg back on his feet and Diana ready to launch another attack with her Semblance but soon Weiss and Jack both stood in between them trying to stop the fight from escalating any further.

*Shiii*

Both use the Semblance to act as shields to separate them with Weiss yelling at Diana to stop, "We've got to stop fighting! We'll be captured!"

Jack also yelled at Cyborg hoping he will listen to the reasoning of this fight, "Yo Cyborg! Stop fighting we came here to talk not fight amongst each other! This is literally the last thing anybody needs right now!"

"Vroom…"

Soon enough Cyborg drones son became apparent as they come closer with the three of them trying to destroy them Cyborg began to talk coldly at them, "You're not exactly a subtle group of assassins."

Hearing this Jack immediately thought of the scenario that is going to happen thinking with mild surprise, 'Wait a second… is he going to do that troupe where the character explains his back story! If his DC then they must listen and abide by explaining their backstories.'

Diana was the first to ask Cyborg trying to dissuade him from letting her speak out, "I am not an assassin! I am Diana, the – "

Quickly shushing her mouth with Jack's hand he began to talk to Cyborg hoping his high LUCK stat this idea words out by telling him his backstory while mid-fight, "I feel like we've set you up for a loss mate. Before we're all vivisected by whatever high-tech drones are hidden inside the walls of this facility, how about you tell us your backstory and in return, we speak ours. That fair… Cyborg?"

Cyborg grits his teeth clearly angry as he began to introduce himself while Jack mentally thinks to himself, 'Ha! I can't believe that actually worked!'

Cyborg then began to introduce himself while Diana, Jack, and Weiss fight back against the drones as he went into monologuing, "Grr… My name is Victor Stone… and before I was a Cyborg – I was an astronaut."

Weiss's eyes widen in surprise hearing the news as Jack didn't expect in meeting a real-life astronaut in RWBY of all things considering Dust doesn't exist past the outer space of Remnant for whatever reason.

Weiss voices out the impossibility of it making it known to everyone as she spoke out loud, "That's impossible! We've never been able to study the stars –"

However, Weiss was soon interrupted by Jack wanting to hear more of Victor's origin story speaking loud enough for everyone to hear, "Weiss! Don't suddenly interrupt someone's origin story! How else would we know his background? You can continue mister Stone."

"What!"

Weiss roared unbelievably that Jack was taking their attacker's side making him twitch his lips at that but didn't stop him from continuing, "… As I was saying… There was a secret space program in Atlas. Test after test was successful, and the ship they built was a thing of beauty. I was the strongest, fastest, fittest, smartest, the best the Kingdom had ever seen. I was at the peak of my life. Every muscle, nerve, and brain cell was…"

"BOOM!"

Jack seeing the Grimm suddenly breaking in and taking the fight outside yelled out to everyone to beware of them seeing the neon color on them, "Everyone! Whatever you don't look into their eyes and kill them on sight!"

Suddenly one of the walls of the building suddenly breached by neon-color-eyed Grimm of the Boarbatusk as they now all divert their attention to fighting the Grimm outside while Cyborg continues his origin story feeling annoyed by anyone interrupting him, "But the launch tests… the tests lied. I revealed to all of Remnant something we never knew before – Dust doesn't work in space. The disaster was devastating. I don't know how I survived. All I remember was a green blur."

*PEW*

Shooting out energy Dust shots from Cyborg blasters while everyone else fought against the Grimm without paying eye contact as he continues to speak, "The investors were so ashamed, they denied all involvements. A pair of rogue assassins even came for my head, to guarantee my silence."

Jack clicks his tongue at this hearing how people were willing to pay to silence someone, "Tch. Those jerks sound like they need to be in a cell. Ain't right what they did to you pal."

*CLANG*

Countering back the Boarbatusk attack and stabbing its underbelly Weiss replied to Victor confused why he came from Weiss family HQ Branch in Vale, "So you just walked into a Schnee Dust Company Facility despite all that?"

*THUD*

Hearing a loud sound of something heavy falling Diana, Weiss, and Jack soon turned around to see Victor struggling to stand with him explaining, "This is the only place with the experimental technology I need to repair myself."

Seeing that all the Grimm in the area have subsided leaving the group the chance to a sigh of relief Victor sits down opening his chest with Weiss admiring his work, "Oh wow… this is amazing work."

Jack seeing this took the chance to tap on Victor's metal body seeing the interior of his chest while using and together allowed him to get all blueprints of Cyborg unaware he got scanned with Jack thinking to himself, 'Whistle~ Even though this is the counterpart of his DC Cyborg all of the blueprints I got just touching him and all the stored data in his and projects. To the spaceship to the functioning Dust Core. I say I gained a lot here but how – '

That was when Victor soon showed his Dust Battery Core to Weiss giving her his issue for it, "The Dust Batteries are burning out too quickly, though."

*Shiii*

At this Weiss soon summons up her while charging Victor giving him an alternative to using just Dust, "I don't think you need Dust for this. You need something a little more primeval – would you like a ."

Seeing this Jack's eyes widen seeing that the Dust Core being used by Cyborg could be recharged using the actual Aura that Weiss is using making him think in pure shock, 'Wait… did they just create the first ever Aura-fueled energy source! And with Victor's blueprints of his Dust Core and adding it with Aura instead of Dust…'

"Wwsssh!"

Jack smirked gathering this new piece of information for his own usage while Victor began to charge up as he flew up to the sky with his jet thruster shoes, "No wires, no cords, no pulses o batteries or tubes… Wow."

Flying around for a bit before landing on ground level again facing Weiss with a newfound respect for her as she talked to him happy for his achievements, "Look all I did was charge your battery. What you've built yourself through… how could an assassin come after your head, if they had any idea what was inside."

Agreeing with Weiss's words Jack also voices the possibility of Victor saving lives with his technology, "Uh huh. Yo Victor with your brilliant mind that could build something to save yourself from scraps to something revolutionary like this? Something of this skill could save millions, of people from death and pain my guy."

Victor only smirks at this taking the praise of his work while talking to them about his earlier stunts, "Heh. I guess I'm pretty smart and great at this. Also, sorry if I attacked you all like that when you came to help me out even though I didn't need it… much…"

Weiss smirks at this while Jack smiles Victor glances towards Diana as everyone soon left the area to return back to their friends with Victor talking to her, "Now that you mention it… maybe we could teach each other a thing or two Diana."

Weiss only rolls her eyes at this annoyed seeing Victor flirt at Diana's direction speaking fondly while Jack glances at Diana with a raised eyebrow and thought to himself, 'Does everyone seems to simp for her? Hmm… Nah. Must be my imagination.'

While they were beginning to get away from the Schnee Dust Company Vale HQ Victor asked what was going on with the kidnappings, "For starters, you guys mentioned some kidnappers right? Who are these kidnappers and what do they want?"

At this Jack was the one to reply to Victor in a cold voice making him notice how deeply angry his tone was over the kidnappings soon learning why "They seem to be abducting Huntsman/Huntresses from Academies all over Remnant – They have even taken my team when I heard the news."

Stopping at a nearby town meeting up Jack began to speak up calming himself as he began to turn into aura molecules, "Alright guys since everything is ok. I'll begin to dissipate back to the original with the memories of what happened. Hope to see you guys."

*Pop*

Turning into molecules Weiss shakes her head while Diana and Victor looked surprised at this, but a small smile and mumbling words did escape her face, "No worries brute. I promise to help you find your friends after helping save me. I'll return the favor after helping me with my problems. It just seems I'm more getting indebted to you each time the more you help me. Its... a what is this emotion I'm feeling..."

While Diana, Weiss, and Victor began to leave they weren't aware that they were being followed by Penny, Ren, Nora, and Pyrrha with a group of mind-controlled people following them silently…
