Keep out*
A yellow tape barred the way of people from entering the crime scene. Two peculiar children were standing outside the area with a grave expressions, not knowing what to do except for looking at the corpse bag.
Mark touched the children with pity, covering them with blankets because this is the least he could do for them. There was no way to revive him and he was a criminal in this scene even though his action was justified and his intent was just, there was nothing he could do except for recording him as a criminal in his records, stamping his name with blackness.
Colena took off her hat, sighing with sadness. She thought highly of the father because he was one of the rarest people in the world, but he decided to take his life for these scums. She gritted her teeth with hatred and rage, cursing them inside her heart.
" I can't believe such a kind person would die like this. He seemed to be fine after the shooting."
Johnathan said, showing remorse on his young face. He liked this priest due to his nature and his aura. Moreover, he admired his brave heart for being able to stay in that hell hole. However, that very priest managed to kill the king without any necessary outside help and it shamed him for being useless. The officers had many chances to capture them, but in the end, this man killed them at the cost of his life.
" Sometimes the world pushes us into the action that we never intended to in the first place. Our duty is to stop this kind of tragedy from happening."
Colena spoke, hiding her eyes with her hair. However, Johnathan could see the eagle-like sharp eyes behind her hair, determined to hunt down all those criminals.
As for Mark, he was eager to beat up someone to vent his anger. Although he was an officer, he never thought of himself as one because he wasn't pure and kind like Colena. He was raised from the shadow and he understood it more than anyone, so he destroys every crime area to erase the place that could potentially become a crime area again.
Step*
A weak silhouette of a man appeared with a strong man with a straight back. The weak-looking man looked at the corpse with shock as he turned his head around to see two young children who were watching him with sadness.
He dropped his cane as he hugged them with sorrow, not caring about the look.
" Sorry. Big bro couldn't make it in time. I am so sorry."
He whispered, apologizing over and over again due to his immense guilt. Andersen felt anger boiling inside him, lashing out with a sharp look that scared everyone.
Thomas sighed with helplessness, knowing Andersen deeply cared about this church because he was indebted to the father and he always visited them on weekends to give some support, but fate was cruel.
" What happened to him, Colena? Why did he do this?"
He asked, showing his concern in this matter. He saw an unstable Andersen and he understood he was a dangerous person like him. Thus he was trying to bind his friend down before he does something terrible.
" Revenge. They killed his son and he suicide-bombed them. I am sorry, Tom. I didn't know this would happen because he was a pure person."
Colena said, bowing her head. She was a friend of Thomas and she could tell he was pissed off by his eyes.
" These fools dared to kill someone in the capital. Are they out of their minds? If I had known them earlier, I would have sent them to the prison personally."
He spoke, slightly leaking out his bloodlust. He was a nice person, but his iron will never be allowed him to bow down to trash like them. Therefore, he was extremely sensitive to this kind of men. You could he was a heroic person.
" That is because you are strong, Tom. You might be able to apprehend them, but do you think they would allow you to do that?"
Mark said with sarcasm since he always hated his gut. He believed Thomas was a naive fool whom he couldn't trust his back.
