Guardians of the galaxy

Scott and Dr. Pym's daughter, Hope, descended the stairs cautiously and observed Fury and his group through the monitor.

"Avengers?" Ant-Man hesitated for a moment, then let out a sigh of relief and smiled at Hope. "It's alright, I know them very well!"

Hope raised an eyebrow. "But we're not familiar with them, and my father dislikes the Avengers."

A few years ago, Scott had been involved in the Avengers Civil War, which had left Hank Pym quite dissatisfied with him. However, since Dr. Pym had successfully reunited with his wife and was in a good mood, he decided to open the laboratory door. "Let's hear what they have to say."

"Dr. Pym!"

Fury took the lead and greeted them. "It's been years..."

Midway through his words, he noticed the white-haired woman beside Hank Pym and looked at her with surprise. "Isn't this Ms. Janet?"

After Scott Lang participated in the Avengers Civil War, Fury had, of course, thoroughly investigated his background and learned about Hank Pym and his wife. Logically, Ms. Janet should have been deceased.

Janet smiled and nodded. "Yes, I am Janet, Hank's wife."

Hank Pym naturally wore an even broader smile. He was about to say something when he was struck dumb because he saw two Captain Americas...

To be honest, Steve Rogers with a beard looked quite different from his previous appearance, but Captain America was a household name, and you could recognize him with just a glance or two.

Scott Lang had just greeted Falcon and exclaimed, "Wait... why are there two Captain America?! Don't tell me I'm just seeing things!"

"You're not mistaken," the bearded Captain America assured him and patted the other Captain America on the shoulder. "We're both Steve Rogers, Scott. We've come to you for help. A catastrophe is looming!"

Hank Pym's expression grew more serious upon hearing this. "If the Avengers can't solve the problem, we can't help."

Nick Fury shook his head. "Dr. Pym, you're not just helping us; you're helping yourself, your wife, and your daughter."

Without further ado, he immediately retrieved his tablet and played a video of Thanos.

Meanwhile, the space team was making good progress. According to the future revealed in the quiz game, Peter Quill piloted the spaceship and heard a distress call from an Asgard refugee ship, so they rushed to assist. This indicated they were quite far from Asgard when the Asgard refugee ship was attacked.

They didn't waste much time and soon encountered a ship. One thing to say, Peter Parker's ship was indeed impressive, visibly larger than their spaceship.

After a brief communication over the intercom, all of them boarded the Guardians' ship. Peter Quill regarded Clark and his companions cautiously. They were all unfamiliar faces, and he asked curiously, "Are you here to make a big deal with us?"

Drax, Rocket Raccoon, and Gamora, on the other hand, observed Superman and Thor with amazement. One was handsome and strong, and the other was fierce and mighty. Clearly, they were no ordinary individuals.

Compared to them, Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange seemed more ordinary.

Stephen Strange spoke up, "Yes, a big deal that concerns all of you."

"What do you mean?" Peter Quill furrowed his brows, hand on his belt, ready to draw his gun at a moment's notice.

Drax intervened, "Relax, Quill, I don't think they're here to cause trouble."

Rocket Raccoon chimed in, "Don't be jumpy, Quill, you're making yourself look like a scaredy-cat, you know?"

Groot added his own commentary, "I am Groot!"

"Hey, what's going on with you guys?" Peter Quill, not pleased, spread his arms, "We need to stay cautious; it's normal to encounter bad guys in space. Don't let their appearances fool you, okay?"

"Thanos," Doctor Strange spoke up, "We're here because of Thanos. Not long ago, he attacked an innocent refugee ship in this area, with the aim of acquiring the Cosmic Cube, also known as the Space Stone."

Upon hearing this, Gamora's expression darkened, and Peter Quill furrowed his brows, "Thanos? The Space Stone?"

"That's correct, Thanos intends to collect all the Infinity stones..."

Gamora took over the conversation with a solemn expression: "Then, in order to balance the universe, he will snap his fingers, a snap powerful enough to erase half of all life in the universe!"

"Exactly," Doctor Strange gestured, "So, we must stop Thanos now. If we don't, everyone here will be reduced to dust with a snap!"

Superman scratched his head, "No, I think that doesn't include me, right?"

Thor glanced at him, "That doesn't matter, Clark. Now that we have two ships, it's time to part ways. One goes to me, as I need to forge a weapon in Nidavellir."

"Hey! This is our ship, not yours!" Peter Quill glared at Thor.

Thor chuckled, "Alright, I was planning to take the smaller one anyway, but now I think your big ship might suit me better."

Clark raised an eyebrow, "No, Thor, I think it's more important for us to go together to the Knowhere and prevent Thanos from obtaining the Reality Stone."

Thor shook his head, "Without the right weapon, I can't kill that madman! You go first; once I have that axe, I'll come find you."

Stephen Strange glanced between Thor and Superman, "So, we split into two teams. Thor, you'll need assistance..."

"I'm going too. I and Groot go with this godly guy!" Rocket Raccoon jumped in enthusiastically, "I've heard of Nidavellir; they can craft downright terrifying weapons. I thought it was a myth, but it's real!"

Peter Quill, "I don't think this is a good..."

Gamora patted his shoulder, "Quill, this isn't the time for you to sulk. We have to stop Thanos by any means, or it's all over!"

Peter, of course, wouldn't admit that he was sulking. He raised an eyebrow, "I think they're afraid of Thanos, which is why they're heading to that place called Nidavellir."

Thor chuckled, "Afraid? Friend, you're offending a god with that statement!"
